Continuing our series, Inside Out Week 4 with Pastor Duane Montague at Journey Church Ventura.
HARVEST VALLEY CHURCH is a church that believes in Jesus, a church that loves God and people. We are so glad you are joining us for church online! If you need prayer or want to share a good report:https://www.harvestvalley.org/needprayerToday we jump into Psalm 23 verse 4.To get sheep to a new pasture, a shepherd must be willing to lead his sheep through unknown terrain. Sheep don't do well with unfamiliar ground because they see it as death defying. However, a good shepherd does not worry but leads the sheep with confidence because he has already tested the trail and knows his sheep will make it.This Sunday, we will learn that, at times, God will test our limits for the sake of getting us to a better place in life. Even when we fear the uncharted territory where He is taking us, we must remind ourselves that He's been there before and knows we will persevere. Bryant continues our "Faith Beyond Fear" series in this week's podcast.
If we do not want to live a life of fear, we have to instead live in the truth that God has given us. The hard part about living that way is that it takes faith. So how can we live in obedience to God so that we can live in faith? www.impactchurchmd.com
We don't always realize it, but anger is connected with our fear. When we try to fight against the lie that produces fear, we live in anger. So what does God call us to do with our anger? www.impactchurchmd.com

In today's world, fear and anxiety are some of the most powerful emotions we face, but how do we combat them? This is why God's word is so powerful to us. The Bible tells us that “Perfect love drives out fear.” In this new series we are going to be inspired to listen to Jesus' voice over the voice of fear. Join us to learn what it takes to start “Fighting Fear”.
This week, Bryant starts our new series, "Faith Beyond Fear."
No matter who we are, we all struggle with a bit of anxiety. Specifically, worrying about the lie we tell ourselves. That is why we need to live out the Gospel daily. www.impactchurchmd.com

We all have fears in life. All of our fears come from a lie that we believe about either ourselves or about God. How do we live in truth so that we are not controlled by fear? www.impactchurchmd.com
The Fear of the Lord is not a burden but a blessing. It is the foundation of wisdom, a source of abundant blessings, and a shield against the traps of sin. We should learn the blessings of a deep reverence of God and seek to live our lives according to His holy will. In doing so, we will experience His love, guidance, and abundant life. In this week's conversation, Pastor Aron shares something else that God gives us to not be afraid in this heavy life.
In the opening conversation of a new series, Pastor Aron walks us through John 14:25-27. Life can be heavy at times, and not being fearful can seem impossible. Throughout this series, we are going to see how God gives us the ability to experience peace and not be fearful.
What do you fear? What does it mean to fear God?
Trust in God is the theme that our kids will have for VBS. We are going to join them through the month of July with the same Bible stories with a little different perspective. Join us as we look at some different stories and learn how we can trust God more completely. This week we take a look at Jonah.
Our fear of man holds us back from spreading the Gospel and representing Christ.
What would your life look like if you weren't ruled by fear? It would be marked by power, love, and self-discipline.
How does the fear of failure hinder you from living the life God desires and what lies does it fuel in you?
Hey guys, welcome to week 11 of my pregnancy. This week was my first in person midwife appointment which was really chill. Being the second pregnancy, most of the health concerns that rose up last pregnancy are already dealt with. I am starting to feel like I'm physically coming out of the first trimester as my symptoms are subsiding. Overall Im feeling a lot more positive this week. I hope you enjoy!
Fear, sadness, shame, and joy…which emotions are leading you from the Inside Out? Through this series we will explore Biblical stories and characters who experienced these four human emotions and how God grew them--and can grow us-- through understanding and surrendering our emotions to God's design. In week 1 speaker Julie Forgey looks at the emotion of FEAR. We'd love to connect with you! Text us at 574-498-2233 or visit us at www.revolutioncc.org
Whether we thought they'd come from the closet, under our bed, or from the dark, we can all remember a time when we were afraid a monster was going to get us. Eventually we come to understand these monsters aren't real. But monstrous people are real, ranging from the generally diasgreable to the toxic person and even abusers. In this episode we talk about dealing with the monsters among us.
So many scary movies have a villain whose identity is concealed by mask. Not knowing who you're up against adds to the mystery and suspense. Masks (not the ones we are accustomed to wearing in the fight against COVID) hide who we are. In this episode we discuss masks, the ones other people wear to disguise who they are, and the ones we wear to hide who we are. Why do we wear them? How can we live without them?
In this episode we talk about the fear of strange noises. In it we discuss discernment of voices we hear, both with our ears and in our minds.
In this episode we discuss common fears, specially the fear of the dark - the unknowns, uncertainties, and unpredicatble things of life.
