This sermon explores how truly knowing ourselves, our thoughts, emotions, and desires, is the pathway to experiencing God's presence and intimacy with him. Drawing on Psalm 139 and Proverbs 20, the Zach teaches that our inner world is part of God's good design, and that bringing our full selves to Him reveals our identity as His Beloved.Support the show

Join us for the fourth week of our Word In The Wilderness series as we learn how we cultivate the soil of our lives so that the word bears fruit.
On Wednesday reports suggested there maybe, could be, peace in the middle east imminently. On Thursday that turned into talk of what perhaps could be one week? That's what President Trump said it may take to hash out terms with Iran on a peace deal. And that wasn't the only less than ideal related news item yesterday.

EPILOGUE_week four by EastLake Tri-Cities
Our lives can feel busy all the time. Different seasons bring various challenges, and even though God wants to grow us in certain ways, how do we make room for it? The story of Mary and Martha in Luke 10 brings light to the struggle we face. When everything feels equally important, we can follow a four-step process to creating room: take inventory of commitments, identify where God is working, create a hierarchy of priorities, and intentionally make room for what matters most.

Send us Fan MailWeek 4 of the 1000 Rejections Challenge brought an unexpected shift—not in results, but in mindset. This week, Lauren reflects on entering the Montgomery Photography Contest, an event she's participated in for years. While this year didn't result in a win, it marked a powerful personal breakthrough. Instead of stress, comparison, and frustration, she found herself relaxed, present, and genuinely cheering on other artists. In this episode, Lauren shares what it feels like to move from needing validation to embracing the process, how redefining rejection is changing her experience, and why some outcomes still feel like a mystery. She also discusses her decision to count each paid submission as its own rejection—and what that reveals about opportunity, risk, and growth. With several major grant applications, Ranger Rick article idea, and children's book submitted this week, the challenge continues to push boundaries and expand what feels possible. If you've ever struggled with rejection, comparison, or trying to “figure out what judges want,” this episode is for you.
We often think identity is something we earn—that if we achieve enough, we finally become someone. But the Gospel tells a different story. In Genesis, God named humanity as His image-bearers before they ever performed a single task. Identity isn't a project needing constructing; it's a gift to be received. However, the Fall buried that identity under layers of shame and performance. We've been hiding ever since, trying to build identities out of masks, achievements, and addictions. In John 21, we see Peter—the "Rock"—retreating to his old boat, returning to his old identity as a fisherman because he was convinced his failure in denying Christ had redefined him. But Jesus meets him at a charcoal fire, walks him through his three denials, and methodically replaces his shame with a restored purpose. The Gospel is the "Great Identity Exchange": Jesus took our false, performing selves to the cross and gave us His standing before the Father. Your true life is now "hidden with Christ"—tucked away in the safest place in the universe, where no failure or critic can touch it.Support the show

In this episode of Power Hour we discuss recruiting, spring practice and answer your questions.
Because He lives, everything changes. What once stood between us and God has been removed. Jesus made a way, once and for all. No more striving to earn it, no more fear of falling short. We are invited to draw near with confidence, to hold tightly to hope when life feels uncertain, and to live as people who refuse to shrink back. This Easter, we're reminded that our faith isn't fragile, it's anchored in a finished work and a faithful Savior. So we gather, we encourage one another, and we run with endurance, knowing we belong to a Kingdom that cannot be shaken. In this week of our Guided Prayer Podcast, we pause to consider a quiet warning: our busy, full schedules can hide empty sources. Through reflection and prayer, we ask an honest question—are there places in our lives where we're living as if Jesus isn't necessary, relying on our own strength, planning, and process instead of depending on Him? Take time to reflect: Where are you pretending you don't need Him? What would it look like to make room today to rely on Jesus—fully, simply, and again?
