The young singer-songwriter recently released her new single, “Superhero,” which is now available on Apple Music, Amazon and Spotify. “Superhero” was inspired by the feeling of hope in a relationship. “We've all been in a situation where we've loved someone and hoped they feel the same way. This song is all about recognizing one's falling short of ‘perfection,' but still seeing that we can be the perfect person for someone we love,” commented Rutland. The acoustic video for the song recently premiered on Sounds Like Nashville. Rutland's new EP, Every Minute Matters is set for release on April 24th, 2020. Hailing from Dallas, TX., Kaylee is an 18-year old native Texan and was just included by Billboard in their list of 10 Country Artists to watch in 2014. Her young, soulful sound and sweet, angelic disposition are well-received by audiences of all ages. Kaylee plays keyboard and guitar and has a passion for reaching others with encouraging and uplifting messages through her music and writing style. Kaylee recorded her first EP in Nashville in September, 2012. In February of 2013 Kaylee returned to Nashville where she co-wrote 3 songs with Jamie O'Neal and was privileged to record her original "Into the Circle" with both Jamie O'Neal and Colt Ford. Kaylee moved to Nashville in August, 2013 to attend college and continue writing, recording and performing. She has performed at venues such as Six Flags over Texas, Love & War in Texas, The Grapevine Opry, The American Airlines Center, The Hard Rock Cafe The House of Blues and Wild Wings Cafe. We will talk to Kaylee about her upcoming schedule, get a behind the scenes look at her music, feature her latest songs, and ask her to share her message for the troops.
