Jase and Al reflect on the tender side of Phil that many people never saw, especially his patience and compassion for sinners who were trying to come back to God. Jase also admits that while he had been right about Al and Lisa's struggles for years, he underestimated what God could do through repentance and forgiveness. The guys connect those stories to everyday tests of integrity, including Jase's $100 tip with one condition attached, and to a vacation baptism that reminded him God is often working through moments that don't look planned. Al and Jase close by setting up their study of James, the brother of Jesus who went from unbelief to bold faith after the resurrection. In this episode: John 8; Acts 2; Proverbs 1, verses 1–33; Proverbs 7, verses 1–27; Proverbs 9, verses 1–18; James 1, verses 1–27; Mark 3, verses 21, 31; John 7, verse 5; Acts 1, verse 14; 1 Corinthians 15, verses 5–8 “Unashamed” Episode 1346 is sponsored by: https://andrewandtodd.com or call 888-888-1172 — These guys are the real deal. Lee Houston and David Burton open the discussion by noting that the WWE roster is currently on tour in Italy, shifting the usual timing of the broadcast. The main topic of the conversation centers on a recent major Lucha Libre AAA event that featured a high-stakes "Mask vs. Mask" match. The hosts discuss the logistics of finding the broadcast on YouTube, guiding listeners on how to differentiate between the live Spanish version and the taped English version. They then break down the climax of the match, where the loser was forced to unmask and was revealed to be Chad Gable.David highlights the bout as a strong contender for "Match of the Year," while Lee notes the narrative similarities to classic wrestling storylines. This prompts a nostalgic breakdown of the famous 2003 WWE storyline where Hulk Hogan performed under a mask as "Mr. America" despite everyone knowing his true identity, leading to Vince McMahon's ultimate quest to expose and fire him.(Part 2 following soon)brought to you by Backup Deliveries and More, LLC. If you want to spend more at the beginning of retirement, which withdrawal strategies actually let you do that? This week's Retirement Headline from Amy C. Arnott called "The Best Strategies for Boosting Starting Withdrawal Rates in Retirement" answers that question. For our Listener Question: A listener wrote in wondering whether sequence-of-returns risk really fades away after the first decade of retirement, and if so — whether that means it's safe to bump withdrawals up to 5.5% or more later in the game. And we wrap it up with another Retire To Something segment. Resource: Article by Amy C. Not so fast J6ers. A Judge is blocking payments from Trump's new $1.776B "Anti‑Weaponization Fund" while courts consider challenges to the settlement that created it. Trump is posting angry rants on social media against U.S. District Judge Leonie Brinkema who ordered a temporary freeze on any transfers, claims processing or disbursements from the fund after a lawsuit by former Jan. 6 prosecutor Andrew Floyd and other plaintiffs argued the program unlawfully favors political allies and lacks oversight. The fund was created as part of a deal tied to President Trump dropping lawsuits against the IRS and related civil claims; that settlement has prompted separate judicial inquiries into whether the court was misled. A hearing is set for June 12 to consider a longer injunction and related briefs, while other judges have asked whether the original settlement amounted to deception. We welcome iHeart radio, and television political analyst Gary Dietrich to the show to discuss it.The Mark Thompson Show 6/1/26Patreon subscribers are the backbone of the show! Al, Zach, Christian, and John Luke look at how the French and Indian War helped forge a distinct American identity through hardship, failure, and the colonies' growing frustration with British control. The guys connect taxation without representation, George Washington's early battlefield lessons, and the founders' fight for liberty to today's entitlement culture. Zach challenges modern Americans to get “skin in the game” through family, work, ownership, and faith, while Al reflects on Phil's longtime defense of America's founders as flawed men who still built something worth honoring. When firefighters rushed to a hotel room in December of 1979, they had no idea they were stumbling into the den of a serial killer. On the bed, they discovered the bodies of two women — their heads and hands cut off, and their torsos set on fire and left on display for first responders to find. It was the first glimpse into the madness of Richard Cottingham, the Torso Killer. Little did first responders know, his reign of terror went back decades, leaving a twisted trail that, to this day, we haven't uncovered the full truth behind. Even now, as he sits in jail, we're left to wonder: How many victims did he truly have? - Sources:https://docs.google.com/document/d/1eTYeCoYyxm58DXXdoFbHQyWHlWbcH9iKGIefFcQToW4/edit?tab=t.y2yayotxnlcb Listen to our new show, "THE CONSPIRACY FILES"!: -Spotify - https://open.spotify.com/show/5IY9nWD2MYDzlSYP48nRPl -Apple Podcasts - https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-conspiracy-files/id1752719844 -Amazon/Audible - https://music.amazon.com/podcasts/ab1ade99-740c-46ae-8028-b2cf41eabf58/the-conspiracy-files -Pandora - https://www.pandora.com/podcast/the-conspiracy-files/PC:1001089101 -iHeart - https://iheart.com/podcast/186907423/ -PocketCast - https://pca.st/dpdyrcca -CastBox - https://castbox.fm/channel/id6193084?country=us - Stay Connected: Join the Murder in America fam in our free Facebook Community for a behind-the-scenes look, more insights and current events in the true crime world: https://www.facebook.com/groups/4365229996855701 If you want even more Murder in America bonus content, including ad-free episodes, come join us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/murderinamerica Instagram: http://instagram.com/murderinamerica/ Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/people/Murder-in-America-Podcast/100086268848682/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/MurderInAmerica TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@theparanormalfiles and https://www.tiktok.com/@courtneybrowen Feeling spooky? Al, Zach, Lisa, and Jill reflect on family, testimony, and the long road from hidden pain to generational blessing. Zach looks back on raising strong-willed sons in a culture that often treats boldness and conviction like liabilities, and he reflects on seeing those same traits shaped by faith, counsel, and maturity. Al and Lisa discuss watching their story come to life, including the physical weight of reliving betrayal, trauma, forgiveness, and redemption on-screen. Full circle family moments come together to show that shame loses its grip when families tell the truth, let God heal what was broken, and refuse to pass old pain to the next generation. Have you been told your labs are "normal" even though you feel exhausted, anxious, foggy, sleepless, or completely unlike yourself? In this Tea & Truth episode, Lynne Wadsworth, Board-Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, shares why perimenopause symptoms can be real even when standard bloodwork looks fine — and how to begin advocating for yourself with more confidence, clarity, and calm. Have you ever walked out of a doctor's office feeling more confused than when you walked in? Maybe you explained the exhaustion, the anxiety, the sleepless nights, the weight changes, the brain fog, the mood swings, or the feeling that you just don't feel like yourself anymore — only to be told, "Everything looks normal." If that has happened to you, this episode is for you. In today's Tea & Truth conversation, we're talking about one of the most frustrating experiences for women in midlife: having very real symptoms while being told that nothing is technically wrong. This episode is not about blaming doctors. Many practitioners are caring, skilled, and doing their best. But it is about recognizing that many women in perimenopause and menopause are still not being fully heard, especially when standard lab results don't reflect how they actually feel day to day. Perimenopause can be a time of significant hormonal fluctuation, and symptoms can show up long before a woman is officially in menopause. Standard hormone testing may not always capture the full picture because hormone levels can shift throughout the cycle and from day to day. That's why your symptoms, menstrual changes, sleep, mood, energy, stress levels, and lived experience all matter. In this episode, we'll talk about why "normal" labs don't always mean optimal wellness, what may be happening hormonally during perimenopause, why cortisol and stress can intensify symptoms, and how to prepare for a more productive conversation with your healthcare provider. You'll also learn simple, practical steps you can begin taking now to support your body naturally — including symptom tracking, blood sugar support, sleep rhythms, nervous system care, and gentle liver and digestive support. Most of all, this episode is a reminder that your symptoms are real, your body is communicating, and you deserve care that looks at the whole picture. In This Episode, We Talk About Why so many women feel dismissed in perimenopause and menopause Why "normal" labs don't always tell the whole story How hormone fluctuations can affect sleep, mood, energy, weight, and clarity Why symptoms and cycle changes matter What questions to ask your doctor How stress and cortisol can affect midlife hormone balance Simple ways to support blood sugar, sleep, digestion, and the nervous system Why self-advocacy is an important part of midlife wellness Gentle Medical Disclaimer for Show Notes This episode is for education and support only and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or replace personalized medical care. America keeps trying to solve spiritual problems with political answers, but Al, Zach, John Luke, and Christian look back at the Great Awakening to show how true liberty began with repentance and surrender to God. Zach connects Jonathan Edwards, George Whitefield, and the rise of personal responsibility in faith to the eventual deconsolidation of political power in colonial America. The guys compare revival movements then and now, wrestling with emotionalism, denominational unity, and why freedom can't flourish when people forget the God who gave it. Broadcasting icons and sports bettors Brent Musburger and Chuck Todd get together to discuss their ideas to cure what ails the Triple Crown in an exclusive conversation on the Ron Flatter Racing Pod. Musburger's years at CBS, ABC and VSiN took him to assignments that included the Kentucky Derby, Preakness and Belmont Stakes. Todd's work at NBC did not keep him from having a run at betting on horses. Both accomplished more recently in gambling on other games, they have ideas on how racing can survive in the 21st century. In the blush of Napoleon Solo's victory in Preakness 2026, Maryland Jockey Club president and general manager Bill Knauf assesses the week at Laurel Park and the transition back to Pimlico next year. He also talks about the coming partnership with Churchill Downs, which is poised to take over the intellectual-property rights to the Preakness as it may move forward on a different date in 2027. Handicapper Ed DeRosa offers tips for Memorial Day stakes races, including the big card at Santa Anita on Monday. He also offers advice on how to bet the Keertana Stakes on Saturday at Churchill Downs. Co-hosts John Cherwa of the Los Angeles Times and Keith Nelson of Fairmount Park have their popular chat segment and weigh in on listener and reader feedback from Preakness week. The Ron Flatter Racing Pod via Horse Racing Nation is available via free subscription from Apple, Firefox, iHeart and Spotify as well as HorseRacingNation.com.
Josh Taylor of TLC's "Rattled," a hometown friend of the Robertsons, joins Jase, Al, and Uncle Si just weeks after the passing of his wife, Aly, to honor her tremendous faith, her long battle with cancer, and the legacy she left for their four daughters. Josh reflects on the miracles woven through their marriage, from infertility and adoption to surprise pregnancies, and shares how he's fighting to protect his girls' faith in God while carrying Aly's story forward. Si and Jase get emotional as they consider the closeness of eternity, the hope of resurrection, and the power of a life that keeps pointing people to Jesus even after death. What happens when artificial intelligence starts researching firearms policy for itself? In this episode of Gun Talk Nation, Ryan Gresham sits down with Paul Angrisano to explore a fascinating experiment involving AI platforms like ChatGPT, Grok, and other large language models—and how those systems responded after being exposed to years of firearms training articles, defensive carry philosophy, and real-world gun culture. The conversation dives into:How AI initially “viewed” gun ownersWhy firearms training culture changed those assumptionsThe difference between AI priors and real-world dataOpen-source AI systems and persistent learning modelsThe future of AI in education, business, research, and everyday lifeThey also discuss the risks, opportunities, and very real implications of AI-driven information systems—and who ultimately shapes the “curriculum” these systems learn from.Check out the article: https://guntalk.com/post/i-asked-ai-about-gunsWhether you're excited about AI, skeptical of it, or somewhere in between, this is one of the most thought-provoking Gun Talk Nation conversations yet. This Gun Talk Nation is brought to you by Archon Firearms, Silencer Central, Range Ready Studios, and FN Firearms.About Gun Talk NationGun Talk Media's Gun Talk Nation with Ryan Gresham is a weekly multi-platform podcast that offers a fresh look at all things firearms-related. A strange natural phenomenon sends Jase down a rabbit hole that leads him, Al, and Zach into a deep discussion about truth, love, obedience, and the meaning behind God's commands. Jase revisits an old Bible insight that reframes the Ten Commandments, and the guys connect the teachings of Jesus to creation, the golden calf, modern idols, and the struggle people have with uncomfortable truth, arguing that God's commands were never meant to be empty rules but a path to life.
