Daphne describes Nashville as distinct from either LA and NY music scenes as in Nashville there remains a focus on the lyrics and the craft of writing lyrics with story and continuity. Daphne reminds us that, “song writers can write a melody, (but in Nashville) its all about the phonetics and phrasing of something, actually creating something meaningful within that melody.” Daphne talks to Donald about the inspiration behind her new song "Dopamine" and her road of recovery from addiction to inspiration. Daphne is proof that facing personal weakness, can create strength and purpose…Oh yeah and did we mention TOM BEAUPRE is guest-hosting??? Listen Now!

Clayton Anderson has managed to do the unthinkable—he’s cracked into country music backwards, independently, and with a fury. Opening for some of country’s biggest stars-- Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Kenny Chesney, Sara Evans, Lee Brice, Wynonna, Joe Diffie, and Jimmy Buffett--Clayton has put himself on the map the old-fashioned way--playing backrooms, side stages, and honky-tonks from Michigan to Florida, each time gaining a few more fans and a better foothold on areas that aren’t traditional country strongholds. Clayton began playing music as a hobby in college at Indiana University in Bloomington, and after a few years playing locally, Clayton won Kenny Chesney’s Next Big Star competition.Clayton released his debut album Torn Jeans & Tailgates in 2011 and it reached No. 12 on the iTunes country charts, sitting next to household names like Zac Brown Band, Brad Paisley and Blake Shelton. He followed that success with the release of his sophomore album Right Where I Belong in 2014, writing nearly every track on the album, with each track representing a different moment in Clayton’s journey in music. Right Where I Belong reached #2 on the iTunes chart and landed in the the Billboard Top 50 Country Albums upon its initial launch. Clayton’s musical growth proves that his journey continues to impress. That is solidified with his new single “In the Dark” which he co-wrote with Tommy Cecil (Luke Bryan, Jake Owen, Parmalee) and Chris Cavanaugh (Trace Adkins). Clayton also co-produced the track with Mark Trussell (Billy Currington, Mickey Guyton ).  The song is a taste of what’s to come with his forthcoming EP Only to Borrow, set to be released on 11/18/16."Nashville Hits Collecting Dust" is a casual, entertaining hangout with friends telling stories, giving valuable advice, and playing great songs that otherwise would still be sitting in a database.
