Madison Prinzen is a graduate student from Lakehead University in Orillia. She has worked with A Kids Guide to Canada and interns for the Digital Human Library (DHL). Madi presented on technology tools that foster virtual connection for this year's MADPD. Her presentation will be featured on the MADPD Spotlight Series in March. In her presentation, she made the essential point that, “Geography should not be barrier,” and the DHL is such a powerful tool for nurturing local, national and global connections.

Welcome to the online conference that may just change your life and the way you teach! This conference has one goal: to make a difference for you and the students you teach! On May 7th 2017 from 8am-8pm EST educators from around the world will be sharing tools, tips, resources and ideas that have proven to be game changers in their classrooms. This exciting day of sharing and learning will occur without travel or cost to you and can be enjoyed directly from the comfort of your home! So put on your slippers, pour a cup of coffee and join us anytime! Presentations will occur via YouTube Live on May 7th 2017 from 8am-8pm EST. Educators, preservice teachers and all other interested parties are welcome! A schedule of presentations will be posted on this page by early April so check back often and spread the word! We Need YOU! Educators are challenged to share a teaching strategy, tool, idea or resource that has helped make a difference in their teaching practice and/or for their students. ** Remember no idea is too small or simple! Each presenter will share their idea over a 15 minute time period and explain how it’s help to made a difference. A 15 minute question period from the participating audience will follow. All YouTube live videos will then be archived and shared with the greater education community.
