Chris, Tanski and Carrie take you on a magical journey through the 1980's by recounting their childhoods and memories from the best decade of all. What it's like being an adult and still holding on to those rad times is something that will also be talked about. This episode, the gang talk about their love of 80's soundtracks from back in the day and how they STILL listen to them in the Modren era! Dennis DeYoung is a crazy person. He created the concept album/ rock-opera "Kilroy Was Here," which was a half-baked idea that essentially caused Tommy Shaw to quit the band. It's easy to see why. This song and, likely the entire album, was garbage. He was like a non-talented Jim Steinman/ Billy Joel/ Jenna Maroney hybrid.. What on Earth does "Modren man," mean? Why on earth does he pronounce "Mannequin," like that? He's not a hero, he's not a savior, but he definitely IS a murderer who will save you heroically. Kilroy is also possibly the most polite murderer ever. We also discuss what it is that makes one human, and coin a new type of irony; Accidental Irony. Get ready to have this garbage trapped in your ear holes for the next week. There's also a touch of dog-murder. Stay classy, Decomposition! MondayMoreConnected In this modren day and age with technology we can interact with people all across the world. Yet we still seem to be more disconnected then ever. And so many relationships that have no purpose. So instead of us feeling more connected, we are more isolated than ever before. And friends on social media are not your friends if they are not living life together with you. If they are not impacting you in a positive way through that relationship. A lot of our resources are going to come through our relationships and friendships but the right ones
Modern medicine has come a long way. But strangely and unfortunately enough, some people live with medical conditions that defy the research we currently have - some are even deadly. A well mannered man who enjoys sex in his sleep, Mysterious threads found under a family's skin, A young Youtuber allergic to water, and 2 separate men who shared the same heart, the same wife, and the same fate. Get ready - this is a bizarre one. Help support the show: http://Patreon.com/EsotericOddities Be sure to check out Niah Selway!
