Cellarmen's in Hazel Park, Michigan was the womb that birthed The TRUTH. Before becoming the best podcast covering the stories *they* don't want you to know, the T.R.U.T.H. was a monthly live meeting. Unfortunately, Cellarmen's announced they will be shutting down at the end of July 2019, so Thomas and Dickie decided to throw one final extravaganza, breaking from their normal format to invite many of their favorite HEROES on stage to say goodbye. Live TRUTH shows, in their regular format will continue monthly just around the corner at Go! Comedy in Ferndale, Michigan. Johnny Delicious is Ross Kosturko from XICW Wrestling. Daniel Brian O'Malley Bartender is Daniel Davies - Nice guy manager and all around swell guy with excellent taste in music. He's our Fifth Beatle. Johanna Medranda as herself - People are always amazed anyone volunteers to do the comedian spot on our live shows. It's kind of a badge of honor, because we only ask the people we respect, love and admire the most, Johanna is no exception. She's awesome! Orlando/RAYDAR is Brett Mercer - He's one of the comedians behind the Independent Comedy Club, along with many other people on this show. He's such a delightful and fearless comedian! It's a joy watching him. Andy Bones the Truth Hound is Matt Naas - Matt has so many podcasts and is the man behind Gabber Media. Alex and Mike were both recently on his show Transmissions From the Darkside where he and Matt Rose recap horror anthologies from the 80's. It was a lot of fun! C Ira Abernathy is Chris Petersen - Chris is one of the premiere improvisers and teachers in the Metro Detroit area. He can be seen performing on stage regularly at our new home Go! Comedy, and will once again be part of the Detroit Improv Festival - www.detroitimprovfestival.org Bart Dangus as himself - Bart is a tremendous comedian, the first to step into the comedian spot in our live shows, and the creator of Prankis, an extremely interactive heckling encouraged stand up showcase. Artwork by Mark Rudolph - http://www.markrudolph.com/ Mark has done the art work for the Cellarmen's Comedy Night, and coincidentally art for Matt Naas' shows! Thomas, Dickie, Alex Bozinovic, and Mike Bobbitt will never be able to thank the guys behind Cellarmen's enough for giving them a home and their total support. Support this podcast

Listen in as I sit down with Brett Mercer while driving to and from a show, talking about our favorite local comedian's bits and the Detroit comedy scene. From the city of Detroit, MI, Brett Mercer delivers a unique brand of off-beat comedy that toes the line between observational and irreverent. His quick wit, improvisational tone, and meticulously crafted word puzzles create absurd vignettes that catch audiences off guard by playing on expectations, and re-imagining conventions. Brett has shared the stage with Johnny Pembrton, Josh Fadem, Paul F. Tompkins, Luis J Gomez and Andy Kindler. Co-Producer of Detroit Comedy Underground, Chuckie Finster, Prankis, and Comedy Night at GhostLight co-host of the Big Time Garbage podcast
In this episode of This is Funny, Right? I sit down with Bart Dangus the host of Prankis with Bart Dangus. Listen in as we talk about Bart's comedy dream coming true as he had just opened for his idol Doug Stanhope. Tune in as we have a fun relaxed conversation about the Detroit comedy scene and what it's like to perform stand up in MI.
Ryan Patrick Hooper is a writer, radio personality, and comedian. One of the first few friends I made when we moved to Detroit. Recorded at Lj's Sweetheart Bar, the home of Prankis you can hear my favorite surly bartender make the first of probably many appearances, Kay everybody.
