Rev. Dr. Larry Hayward preaches on Easter Sunday. The Scripture passage is Matthew 28:1-10.
The Resurrection...what does it mean to you? In today's teaching, Pastor Ben tells us what happened after the resurrection. Bottom line, Jesus IS alive...and there is HOPE. Do you have a stone that's covering up your heart, not allowing you to have a true connection with Jesus? If you do, it needs to be rolled away so that you can allow Jesus into your heart. With the resurrection comes HOPE. That HOPE is Jesus. Do you know what it means to "follow" Jesus? Due to social media, in today's society, the word "follow" means to simply press a button and "become a fan" of someone. But to "Follow Jesus" means something totally different. "Following Jesus" means to read and study the Word of God, and apply what we learn from the Word of God to our every day lives; to love people in the same manner that Jesus loves people.
