Rediscover What the Blood Really Mean! What does the blood of Jesus truly accomplish? In this message, we explore the life-changing truth found in Romans 3, that salvation, righteousness, and relationship with God are not earned by performance but given by grace through faith in Christ. From the Old Testament sacrifices to the cross of Christ, the Bible tells one powerful story....redemption through the blood. This isn't just good theology. It's your invitation to freedom, forgiveness, and closeness with God.Pneuma Life Church with Pastors Jason & Jessica Huffman in Saint Johns, Florida.Make Jesus Known. Make Disciples. We are a missionary Church and it is not good enough to sit idly in our pew and relish in the grace we receive at Mass. We are, each of us, called to go and make disciples. And, our mission field may be as close as our work, our grocery store, our community, and even our own home.

Garth Heckman The David Alliance TDAgiantSlayer@Gmail.com NO TDA over the 4th of July Weekend… But I will see you on Monday the 7th. When did it happen? You thought you were good at something and then realized you had so much more growth ahead of you. When you had more questions than answers. When you realized this is the secret sauce to mastering something. When you understood you should have done this a long time ago. When I was taking guitar my teacher Jeff Schroedl was amazing. He still is. His band Altered 5 is a blues band that has won numerous awards. Matthew 28:18Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, even to the end of the age. *Key point: Great leaders don't create followers, they create leaders. Great Disciples don't create followers of Christ, they create people who create followers of Christ. In these few simple verses we tend to focus in on Power and Authority, the Making of Disciples and even baptizing new converts and we even highlight that this is a command… but what do we miss. Well by logical conclusion one can determine that the key to all of these is Obedience. Five key reasons you need to learn discipleship: Obedience to Jesus' Command: Jesus directly instructed his followers to "Go and make disciples of all nations...". Learning discipleship is an act of obedience to this fundamental command, demonstrating our willingness to follow his instructions. This obedience is a way of expressing our love for him… Obedience is greater than sacrifice - thats what scripture says. Without obedience you are just like a non Christian except you will go to heaven… You will be judged for your disobedience and your lack of following through on his commands. Spiritual Growth and Maturity: Discipleship is crucial for ongoing spiritual development. It's not about reaching a point of "knowing enough" but about continuously growing in Christ. It fosters a deeper understanding of biblical truths, the application of faith in daily life, and the development of Christ-like character. You ask anyone who moved from student into the role of a teacher and ask them which was more challenging, which taught them more… without a doubt it is being a teacher. When you disciple someone that is when you really start to grow and mature in Christ. Building Stronger Relationships: Discipleship creates opportunities to build deep, authentic relationships with other believers. These relationships provide a supportive environment for mutual encouragement, accountability, and the sharing of life experiences. This strengthens the Christian community and fosters a sense of belonging. People who go through war together have an unbreakable bond. Discipleship is many times war… spiritual warfare, but war none the less. Equipping and Empowering Others: Discipleship is a process of intentional mentorship where experienced believers guide and nurture newer ones in their spiritual journey. This empowers individuals to live out their faith authentically and to make a positive impact in the world around them. It also plays a vital role in carrying the gospel to others, even in least-reached communities. Living a Life Reflecting Christ: Discipleship involves imitating Jesus' example in our lives. This means not just hearing his teachings but also living them out through love, service, and sacrifice. It's a lifelong endeavor to become more like him in character and actions. This process includes cultivating a heart of love for God and others, actively serving those in need, and sharing the gospel with those who haven't heard.

They start with a light-hearted banter that transitions into the deeper purpose of Christian living, stressing how Jesus' teachings from 2000 years ago are still relevant and necessary today. These metaphors come from Matthew 5, where Jesus tells us, “You are the salt of the earth” and “You are the light of the world.” Jason explains that the Greek phrase for salt losing its saltiness literally means salt that “plays the fool” or loses its purpose. He delves into the science of pure salt (NACL), which doesn't lose its saltiness unless mixed with impurities—similar to how a disciple loses their ‘flavor' when their heart isn't pure. They talk about keeping the heart pure, ensuring our impact remains strong. Josh adds humor by discussing the phrase “stay salty,” shifting to a serious note on how to maintain our ‘saltiness' through purity. Using the Dead Sea salt analogy, they stress that impurities can corrupt our faith. Josh highlights fears of losing our spiritual flavor and reassures listeners using Greek terminology to emphasize remaining undiluted. The duo moves into genuine discipleship and the importance of ongoing self-assessment and transparency. Josh discusses Re:generation, a community for overcoming struggles like insecurity and pride, not just addiction, encouraging open sharing for spiritual growth. Jason quotes Romans 7, reminding listeners of our inherent need for Jesus and the weakness in our human nature. This converts to positive action: depending on Jesus to maintain our spiritual 'saltiness.' Josh illustrates the necessity of keeping our hearts and daily activities pure by humorously describing a youth pastor's lesson involving brownies with ‘a special ingredient,' underscoring the impact of even minor impurities. Another key point is that salt produces thirst, and Christian living should evoke curiosity in others. They stress the need for Christians to stand out positively to create spiritual thirst in non-believers. The conversation mentions concerning statistics about issues within the church, like divorce and addiction, indicating a need for Christians to live distinct lives that truly reflect Jesus. Wrapping up, they challenge listeners to pray bold prayers, asking God to reveal and purify any impurities. They emphasize the importance of being filled with the Holy Spirit to maintain their impact on the world. The episode ends on a motivational note, calling for revival and active spread of Jesus' light and teachings.
In this powerful and challenging message, Pastor John unpacks the Apostle Paul's words to Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:1–7, reminding us that the call to follow Jesus is far more than a call to believe — it's a call to be transformed and to multiply.Too often, the modern church settles for attendance without transformation and service without surrender. But Jesus didn't say, “Believe in Me and carry on with your life.” He said, “Follow Me.” And to follow Him means to walk in obedience, to be shaped into His likeness, and to be sent out on mission.Through the vivid imagery of a soldier, an athlete, and a hardworking farmer, Paul paints a picture of the kind of endurance, discipline, and focus required for a life of faithful discipleship. Pastor John reminds us that spiritual growth takes intentional effort, and while the mission is great, we are not left to carry it in our own strength. We are to be continually strengthened by the grace found in Christ Jesus.Learn more about Mission Church at www.missionlasvegas.com

Matt 28:19-20: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Then, Jesus gives these three commands and a promise. Let's take a look at each one. Command 1: Make Disciples: Command 2: Baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit: Command 3: Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you: The Promise: And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age: Acts 1:8: But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. Now, where do we actually do this? Jerusalem (where we are now)Judea and Samaria (neighboring areas) End of the earth (all other places)
