This episode: Most 501c organizations (nonprofits) conduct some sort of advocacy or outreach on issues of importance. But walking that line between a c4 and a c3 takes awareness and smart choices. This week, I spoke with David Borden of StoptheDrugWar.org about how he manages the multiple decisions needed to coordinate activities between a politically active c4 and its c3 counterpart. What questions do you have about c4 and c3 coordination? Share a comment! Season 4 episode 31 | Series episode 163 --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/cecilia-sepp/support

Borden played the leading role in pioneering use of the Internet for education and organizing in drug policy reform after founding DRCNet in late 1993. Borden has written over 160 editorials on drug policy, and publishes DRCNet's Prohibition in the Media blog.
