Cuyamungue Institute: Conversation 4 Exploration. Laura Lee Show
Sacred Architecture is a re-discovery of our collective heritage, showing us how to understand the symbols of change provided by the buildings and monuments of our ancestors. The language of the sacred can be seen in buildings as diverse as the Parthenon, Hopi initiation lodges, Stonehenge, Temple at Luxor, the cathedrals and the Palladian memory theatre, in which astronomical, mythical geometric and structural patterns have been incorporated. From the early astrological and mythical influences which determined the location, form and function of early monuments. From the Archives: This live interview was recorded on April 15, 1995 on the nationally syndicated radio program, hosted by Laura Lee . As we glance back over the current election many of us are dumbfounded by the outcome. An upset that appeared out of nowhere has many of us pondering our future, our options, and our personal safety. What do we do now? Join, host Chris Flisher as he speaks with old friend and colleague, Tad Mann about the astrology of these potent times. Is this the influence of Neptune? Is this what the Pluto return looks like in the US? These and many other topics are discussed as we look backwards while remaining optimistic for the wake-up call that was just delivered.
Noted astrologer and thinker A.T. (Tad) Mann has developed a tarot deck based on astrological symbols and meanings. How do these two remarkable discovery tools work together? The tarot has long been considered a divination tool for prediction. Astrology draws from the same well of knowledge, yet they have never been used together in this fashion. Mann has designed and developed his own deck of tarot cards that allow users to glance at their past, present, and future with uncanny accuracy. Listen as Chris Flisher interviews Tad Mann.
In this segment astrologer and radio host, Chris Flisher speaks with old friend and fellow astrologer, Tad Mann about the current state of the planet and what's to come. Uranus, the planet of revolution and innovation is squaring (90 degrees) to Pluto, the planet of reconstruction and redeemtion. Typically that forebodes a dramatic long-term unfloding of events. When we look back at this time we will see how clearly this time shifted our views. While we are in the swirl of events it may be difficult to see the "forest for the trees" so to speak, but when we glance back at this time we will see a profound shift in our collective consciousness as well as a dramatic wave of social upheaval and change.
A.T. Mann is an astrologer who has recently been helping to translate the advanced Kalachakra Tantra Teachings teachings given by the Dali Lama. He discusses the overlap between Tibetan Buddhism, Taoism, Eastern philosophy and astrology through the concepts of impermanence and constant change. Mann also describes how he uses a logarithmic time scale to interpret the natal chart. He uses the logarithmic metaphor to help explain the importance of our early stages in our life in our overall development, but also how our sense of time is expanded near the beginning of life when billions of connections are being made, and how time seems to speed up as we get older and decades seem to fly by. This kind of reading is a "round art" based on the art of wholeness, and an understanding of the wheel of samsura and illusion and allows for metamorphosis in the horoscope. Audio: Download
