Founder of BioGeometry, Dr. Ibrahim Karim, explores the hidden reality of Ancient Egypt, linear vs non-linear perception, and how to tap into a multidimensional state of consciousness. The conversation explores the concept of sacred power spots and their significance in ancient civilizations. These power spots, such as temples and pyramids, were built on top of natural springs and energy vortexes. The ancient builders understood the importance of harnessing life force energy and creating a connection between the power spot and the cycle of life. On Dr. Ibrahim Karim's desk is an abstract figure with the inscription “Only those who see the invisible, can do the impossible”. Chosen by his youngest daughter Doreya, it is the best description of him. What started off as an occasional gathering of friends grew over twenty years into a weekly pivot in the lives of many people of different ages, religions, professions, social background and nationalities. Unstructured lectures and dialogues about almost any subject, where Dr. Karim believed that he has learned as much as he has taught his holistic approach which he calls the BioGeometrical Way; a new and expanded world view; equally scientific and spiritual in essence. In his own words “to be truly holistic it must incorporate anything and everything”.BioGeometrical shapes interact with Earth's energy to produce a balancing effect on all energy levels of biological systems. Research into shapes of body organs led to the discovery of the relationship between of organ function, energy pattern, and shape. These patterns called “BioSignatures” produce, through resonance, a balance of energy and immunity that support orthodox and alternative medicine.___________________PODCAST CHAPTERS00:00 - Dr. Ibrahim Karim Intro00:40 - Multi-Dimensionality and Ancient Civilizations04:36 - Sensory Perception and the Projection of Reality08:11 - Linear Time, Cause and Effect, and Multidimensional Existence13:01 - The Dual Souls of Modern Humans16:48 - Sacredness of Animals in Ancient Egypt23:46 - The Great Shift: From Right Brain to Left Brain Perception25:59 - Ancient Egypt's 50,000-Year Legacy34:44 - The Neteru and Materialization of Gods in Ancient Egypt42:52 - The Role of Water in Sacred Power Spots51:18 - Evolution of Sacred Architecture into Pyramids56:11 - The Freemasons and Sacred Builders01:04:58 - The Birth of Biogeometry: Practical Science of Life Force01:07:02 - The Vortex: Accessing Multi-Dimensional Energy01:10:26 - Real-World Applications of Biogeometry 01:19:46 - Amplifying Pyramid Energy with Visualization01:29:05 - The Importance of Letting Go of Ego01:34:48 - The Universal Mind and Human Intention01:47:05 - Achieving Inner Balance Through Acceptance01:54:46 - Amplifying Life Force Energy Through Excellence01:58:15 - Dr. Karim's Message to Future Leaders___________________Guest: Dr. Ibrahim Karim, BioGeometry ® Website | https://www.biogeometry.ca/homeYouTube Channel |  @BioGeometry  Courses & Events | https://www.biogeometry.ca/courses-eventsBioGeometry ® Products | https://www.biogeometry.ca/biogeometry-products Instagram | https://www.instagram.com/ibrahim_karim_biogeometryHost: Emilio OrtizInstagram | https://www.instagram.com/iamemilioortiz/Subscribe to YouTube Channel |  https://www.youtube.com/EmilioOrtiz Watch Emilio's latest series on 4biddenknowledge TV l https://bit.ly/AwakenThe6thSense___________________Special Offerings to Support the Show:✦ Make a One-Time or Recurring Donation on PayPal

Episode 115 of A is for Architecture is a conversation with Sofia Singler, Assistant Professor of Architecture at the University of Cambridge, and a Fellow and College Lecturer in Architecture at St John's College, Cambridge. We discuss parts of her book, The Religious Architecture of Alvar, Aino and Elissa Aalto, which she published with Lund Humphries in 2023. Sofia says “my sense is that [Alvar Aalto] really valued religion and not just Lutheranism, and Finland, […] and specifically Christianity, as part of an unchanging European cultural tradition. And the attraction, the appeal, the value, the beauty of religion, and Christianity, in particular for him was that the message was always the same. And I suppose for that reason, the idea of renewing things and shaking things up and coming up with a new liturgy and a new building type felt a bit too radical for him, which is really interesting, given that, of course, he was quite radical himself as a designer. […] when it comes to religious projects, I think there was a degree of perhaps nervousness […] Out of a fear that perhaps these changes were too much and that they risked losing some of the cultural value of religion'. You can find Sofia on the Cambridge University website here, and the book is linked above.   Thanks for listening. +  Music credits: Bruno Gillick

Most likely each and every one of us has walked into a building or a structure which had the capacity to touch something inside of you in some ineffable way. For Millenia, cultures around the world have constructed buildings which have this ability to cut through aesthetics of their appearance and bestow upon those who look upon or enter inside, a sort of spiritual reverence. How does this happen and what sort of elements make up these structures? Helping us break ground on this curious topic is the author and scholar of esotericism, Peter Mark Adams!

In this episode, we chat about the importance of living in the present moment and recognizing the beauty of ordinary life. In today's modern world, we are constantly surrounded by distractions and can be tempted to focus on the past or the future and can lose sight of the gifts and graces right in this present moment. We share practical ways we live in the moment, we discuss the struggle of being in the culture, yet living differently from it, and ponder the power of prioritizing people over productivity. We invite you to take the present moment and see how the Lord is working in your life through the people and world around you.   Heather's One Thing - Healing pilgrimage to France with Jake and Heather and Fr. Sacred Architecture is a re-discovery of our collective heritage, showing us how to understand the symbols of change provided by the buildings and monuments of our ancestors. The language of the sacred can be seen in buildings as diverse as the Parthenon, Hopi initiation lodges, Stonehenge, Temple at Luxor, the cathedrals and the Palladian memory theatre, in which astronomical, mythical geometric and structural patterns have been incorporated. In this interview with Chris Wiley, we explore the strategy of contextualization. Church planters and Christians in the 20th and 21st centuries have been thinking about contextualization and attempting to use it as a means to reach people with the gospel. It is the normative approach to being “missional” in the American context. While the church has always been a people of mission, carrying God's gospel message to the ends of the earth, in the mid-20th century many Christian thinkers began to reconsider older approaches to Christian mission. Wiley casts doubt on the usefulness and fruitfulness of this endeavor particularly as it relates to a post-Christian culture of death. He ties contextualization to ideological movements in the 19th Century. Bio from crwiley.com: “C. R. Wiley's childhood was like something out of a story by Roald Dahl.It was full of vacancies. He was a ward of the state for a time. (Imagine living at the DMV and you have a sense of what that was like.) And he hated the 8th grade so much that he took it twice.Fortunately his imagination filled in what life left out. He drew a lot and actually got pretty good at it.Besides writing for magazines and publishing books he has been a pastor (still is!), a college professor, a commercial real estate investor, a landlord (still that, too!), and a building contractor. He has been happily married for over 30 years and he has three grown children. In Episode 32 of A is for Architecture, I speak with architect Craig Hamilton, whose work in the classical tradition, particularly his sacred work, represents another mode of 'doing' architecture in the contemporary period. We speak about his body of buildings, including his Chapel of Christ the Redeemer, at Culham, which Gavin Stamp described as demonstrating that 'classicism today can be resourceful, appropriate, and, in its own terms, truly original. It is a beautiful building.' We speak about the meaning of the classical languages of architecture, their dialogic character, and the possibilities of classical architecture for the contemporary public. Craig speaks about his approach to scared space too, which is embedded within a very old discourse around cult and the numinous, as well as his design method, based on hand drawing and the close study and deep knowledge of historic precedent, realised through very high quality making. Craig's practice website can be found here, and contains a good selection of downloadable articles on his work. Gavin Stamp's article, Art and Soul is in Architecture Today and can be read here. You can watch Craig discussing his home, Coed Mawr, with the Architecture Foundation, here. There's much else online, so if you fancy, have a sticky. Ellis Woodman's book Temples and Tombs: The Scared and Monumental Work of Craig Hamilton can be found here, published by Lund Humprhies in 2019. In our conversation, Mark gives an overview of the geographical history of this site, which is situated as far north as you can go on the island of Manhattan. He highlights key designers and collaborators who are working to capture the culture and contemplative nature of the land. Mark and I also engage in a broader discussion about our experiences as minorities in the US. The Bible describes the world as God's cosmos. This word conveys the idea of creation being God's well-ordered household that is organized for his glory. Paul emphasizes the importance of this truth in his letters when he explains that Christian households are to be a reflection of God's household. Unfortunately, many Christians today do not think of their family lives as “households” with a purpose. My guest in this episode helps us to recover a sense of the meaning and purpose of the Christian household. His name is C. R. In this teaching, coming to you impromptu as the information streams through me, I want to encourage women to identify the energy of collapse, and say "no more!" Women have actually been conditioned into the "collapse" response and the depletion of women's energy was a cornerstone of patriarchy. We are taking it back now. I talk about this differently - through the erection of Sacred Architecture in the lightbody system. This short bonus episode should get your energy pumping! Questioning Contextualization? With C.R. Wiley

Missiologists are always talking about contextualizing the church to the surrounding culture. But should we accommodate to a post-Christian culture, or a culture of death like we see in the West today? It's time for us to rethink the ubiquitous acceptance of the logic of contextualization, says C.R. “Chris” Wiley. This week, Chris returns to the show to defend his thesis. Chris Wiley is pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Manchester. He has written for Touchstone Magazine, Modern Reformation, Sacred Architecture, The Imaginative Conservative, Front Porch Republic, National Review Online, and First Things, among others. His most recent book is, The Household and the War for the Cosmos published by Canon Press (2019). In much of the contemporary missions conversation, the good, ordinary gifts of God—like marriage and family—are often spoken of mainly as things to be sacrificed, not as things to be cultivated as a part of the church's mission. This week, Chris “C.R.” Wiley explains why a return to the biblical understanding of the household can be a powerful weapon on the church's cosmic spiritual warfare, as well as an evangelistic tool in frontier missions. C.R. Wiley has written for Touchstone Magazine, Modern Reformation, Sacred Architecture, The Imaginative Conservative, Front Porch Republic, National Review Online, and First Things, among others. On Wednesday, June 5, Deacon Mike Beauvais spoke with Michael Raia, an architect with Studio IO about the importance and beauty of sacred architecture. In the first part of the show, Michael Bonin with the Central Texas Fellowship of Catholic Men spoke about the significance of men's fellowship and how it is valuable in building their Catholic faith. The slogan for CTFCM is "no man left behind", with the goal of making men's fellowship available to every single Catholic man in our diocese. Its purpose is to help men become better disciples of Christ through prayer, study and fellowship. There are local Catholic Men's Fellowship groups at many of the parishes around our area. If you are a man searching for Catholic men's fellowship, check your church bulletin for details! Mike is heading up a men's fellowship group at St. Mary's in College Station on Wednesday mornings at 7.   In the second half of the show, Michael Raia spoke about beauty and architecture, and all things related to our reach for God through the eyes of beauty. He has a 12-year background in design work and project management for an architectural firm. About a year ago, he started his own company, a design consultancy specializing in work for Catholic clients. Michael talked about how the beauty of architecture can draw us into the faith initially by gaining our attention and making us wonder about the origin of beauty, its application to understanding the Old Testament, its meaning and significance for our lives, and how beauty affects the Church today. We are all called to be holy, and we can have help in obtaining that holiness via active participation in the liturgy. But how does the liturgy actually encourage our sanctification and our holiness? When we talk about liturgy, we are talking about evangelization and discipleship; they should never be separated. The way of beauty is our lead into that type of discussion, it is what initially speaks to us and draws us in to desire truth and learn more about Church teachings and morality. Listen to Michael Raia discuss this beautiful perspective on the importance of beauty and architecture, and how they aid our effort to pray the Mass and live out our call to holiness. We hope you enjoy this episode! Be sure to give us a like on Facebook @redcradio. And remember, when choosing between the values of heaven and the values of earth, always round up!

We may take for granted the buildings that surround us, but many of our ancestors regarded the placement and structure of buildings to be a key representation of the logic and design of the universe.  Ancient cathedrals, religious sites, and sacred grounds have a natural and logical place in the geometrical patterns of our planet and the cosmos.  In this archived segment, your host Chris Flisher, discusses tis subject with astrologer, architect, and author A.T.
