Closing out the episodes in the 100's is a Clark and Randy solo show. While Russ is away, the mice... you get it. Randy and Clark catch you up on 7500 and still don't know why the film is called 7500. Randy watched a Vietnamese action film while Clark finally saw Candyman. On this episode of Fueled Dr. Spoo sits down with Russ Kelly, the Service and Working dog Research Manager for Royal Canin and Eukanuba. Russ’s current work is focused around dogs with a job which can range from service dogs to military dogs and hunting dogs to agility dogs. While Russ’s knowledge is vast, in this episode they focus on puppies and performance.
November is Men’s Health Awareness Month, a month focusing on men’s prostate cancer, testicular cancer and men’s mental health issues. This week on Whiskey Business, Dino and his crew talked with a recent survivor and a current fighter. Dan Skinner, a professor at Ohio University is a survivor of testicular cancer. Russ Hubbard is currently battling Stage 4 prostate cancer. Both men had unique perspectives as to where they are and where they are going in their personal battles, both emotionally and physically speaking. As is the case, on Whiskey Business we discussed it all over a good pour of Old Scout 107 American Whiskey. While Russ wanted to partake, he could not as he had just gone through another round of chemotherapy that same afternoon. Both men were open and honest and quite frank about their battles. And yes, their was humor as it always seems to be a medicine we need no matter what the illness. It’s a special episode and one that everyone can relate to as sadly we all know someone who is fighting or maybe have lost someone in the battle. Please join us in sharing the awareness and in the process learn something about the human spirit.
While Russ and Mika both have parents who are teachers, they have pretty different educational backgrounds. Russ was born and raised in Arizona public schools and Mika hopped around schools in Japan, both urban schools and rural villages, before coming to the states. In this episode, Russ & Mika talk private, public and charter schools, what they look for in a school and its teachers, and the education they try to teach as parents, outside of the classroom.
The HSP boys are back with Episode 27. In this episode, we cover a range of political topics. Most notably, we discuss the recently passed bill sent for Trump's approval. Strap in and enjoy the ride. Border Bill After running through our bottom of the stack, we discuss the recently presented budget bill. It seems as though Trump is beginning to show signs of weakness, given that this is his 3rd time getting duped on a budget deal. While Russ has a slightly more positive out look on the situation, Luke differs. Russia Collusion Afterward, we discuss the Russia collusion. We called this long ago. There was no collusion. There never will be any collusion. Collusion between Trump and Russia never happened. Therefore, this has always been the inevitable conclusion. Green New Deal After a short break, we go into a discussion of the Green New Death. As we've already covered this exhaustively last week, we have a more pointed discussion regarding Mitch McConnel. We have a fresh take on this, which departs from most of the right. Amy Klobuchar Declares Candidacacy Another new Democratic has declared her candidacy. This week brings us Minnesota Senator, Amy Klobuchar. We outline her positions, and ultimately determine the ruling on the field to be blob. It'll be interesting to see how many candidates end up being Blob versus Democratic Socialist. We'll keep you posted. Trump Parade Figure Finally, we cap off segment two with the Trump Parade Figure. Grab Bag Special Lastly, we cap off the show with our Grab Bag Special. To be honest, this was a total dud. Perhaps, we'll have to do more Quality Assurance in advance next time we choose something Dennis Prager has done. Topics covered in order: -BOTS -Border Bill -Collusion Nothingburger -Updates -Corrections -Green New Death -Amy Klobuchar declares candidacy -Trump parade figure -Feedback -Grab Bag Special For sources and links, visit www.zero-gravity-media.com Audio available at: http://www.zero-gravity-media.com Subscribe on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCr18Zwl6rsaCtSf3tuE_Ayw Subscribe to us on iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/de/podcast/zerogravitymedia Follow us on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/zerogravitymed Listen on Stitcher: https://www.stitcher.com/podcast/zero-gravity-media Like us on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zerogravitymed
While Russ is traveling this week, Mika has returned to have another solo discussion about one of her favorite topics. For those who have listened to some of our earlier episodes, you would know that Mika used to run a business as a professional organizer. While she no longer professionally organizes, home organization is something she is incredibly passionate about. On today's show, Mika shares tons of practical tips about home organization. You'll hear about the benefits of organizing, the challenges to becoming organized, and a room-by-room guide on how you can better organize your home.

Russ Roberts is one of the most important economic thinkers and popularizers of our time. His podcast Econtalk is the most perceptive podcast for learning economics. You will find the most in-depth discussions of many subjects there and his interviews and interview style is enviable. While Russ has published extensively in academic journals and is a professor of economics in George Mason University, he has done a lot to present key economic ideas to a wider audience. His books, “The Choice,” “The Invisible Heart,” and ‘The Price of Everything” are written for the lay audience in fictional form to explain economic thinking and analysis. They clarify difficult economic concepts and are very provocative for generating very interesting learning discussions. They are a must for anyone interested in economics. Russ has also made economics music videos—a series of debates in rap between Keynes and Hayek. Once again very useful for understanding economics. Russ’s most recent book is “how Adam Smith can Change your life: An Unexpected Guide to Human Nature and Happiness.” We will use Russ’s vast experience in economics to discuss several key issues that are important to all who are interested in economic thought and policy. His reflections on a career in economics and how his thinking has changed over time. Key economic thinkers such as Smith, Keynes, Hayek and the Austrians. The nature of policy and policy thinking. The role of models, emergence and self-organization in understanding economics. There is a lot in this podcast if you are interested in economics. I urge you to listen to it carefully and if you are student share it and discuss it in class. Listen to this and let us reinvigorate research and debate into change.
