Austin Gaugert (Caddie for Alex Noren) joins the pod to discuss a multitude of topics. From stories about caddying on the Symetra Tour, to how he got hooked up with Noren, to their 17th Place finish at the US Open, Austin covers it all with great stories in this episode. After a prolonged layoff the boys are back to discuss this week's US Open. Instead of discussing the golf course (if you want an inside chat about Winged Foot, head over to Ep. 27 where we talk with two friends and Members, CJ and Chris Swift, in depth about WF) we will be discussing the betting favorites and who our picks to win and darkhorse picks are!

Collin Morikawa went and grabbed himself his first Major Championship on Sunday, while the mainstays of the game like Brooks and DJ faltered. The boys dive deep into all of the contenders this past week, the hot mics from the press room, and more. Plus, we get an update on what everyone has been up to and what's coming up in the world of golf.

Charlie Danielson is back to give us an update on his most recent (and hopefully last)knee surgery. He also gives us an inside look into all of the business that goes on behind the scenes in professional golf. Caddies, agents, payouts, etc. are just a few of the topics discussed!

Nick talks about shooting 62 (-10) at the Ray Fischer Championship last weekend, as well as what it was like playing with Tony Romo the first two days. We also talk about the PGA Tour being back for 3 weeks now and our first impressions on who has stood out in the return.

Zach and Nick are joined by CJ and Mike Swift to talk about this year's US Open venue, Winged Foot. The Swift Brothers have been Members at Winged Foot since 2016 and have plenty to offer on the US Open track we will see in September. After that, we dive into their extensive list of favorite tracks they have played in the Northeast, and some funny stories from our college days.

Korn Ferry Tour Member Nick Hardy joins the boys to talk about his career, his time at the University of Illinois, his favorite courses in the Chicago area, and much more! Nick had an incredibly decorated Amateur Career, and has parlayed that into Professional success. He has competed in the 2019 US Open, 2015 US Open, and is off to a great start on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2020.

In our Final Part of our discussion with Kyle Kreklow, we talk about different types of grasses found on golf courses, and conclude with some rapid fire questions about what life is like as a Superintendent.

In Part 2 of our discussion with Kyle Kreklow we talk about what changes he has made at Pioneer Creek since taking over, and some challenges of maintaining a course in the harsh weather (both cold and heat) that is common in Minnesota.

In Part 1 of a 3 Part Series we sit down with Kyle Kreklow, the Superintendent at Pioneer Creek Golf Course in Maple Plain, MN. He is also Grady's cousin, which we won't hold against Kyle. In Part 1 we discuss how Kyle got into the "Turf Business" and some of his stops along the way which include Friar's Head, Crystal Downs, and Sand Hills.
