The girls are back and ready to spill the tee. In Season 3, Episode 4 of Birdie Little Secrets, Kassidy and Sydney dive into a whirlwind week in golf. They kick things off celebrating Hideki Matsuyama, who wrapped up his season the same way he started it: with a W. After outlasting Alex Noren in a playoff at the Hero World Challenge, Hideki snagged his second title at the event (the first dating back to 2016) and notched an impressive 21 worldwide career wins. Casual. No big deal. But you know the TEE is never far away… Wyndham Clark stirred the pot again, this time with some not-so-subtle public shade about the course conditions in the Bahamas. Let's just say his comments on Albany's Bermuda grass were anything but "politically correct," and Kass & Syd are breaking down the reactions. Then it's time to decode one of the most high-pressure, life-changing events in golf: PGA TOUR Q-School presented by Korn Ferry. The ladies break it down stage by stage because yes, it's confusing and explain exactly what's on the line: PGA TOUR cards, Korn Ferry status, future careers… the works. And to make it even juicier, they're joined by a special guest, Lea Martinson, who gives an inside look at what it's like supporting her fiancé as he prepares for the Final Stage. But the week doesn't stop there. Kass and Syd wrap with a sneak peek at the Grant Thornton Invitational, the mixed-team event bringing PGA and LPGA stars together, with 16 powerhouse pairings ready to battle it out in Naples. This episode is one you'll want to listen to tee to green! Tune in every THURSDAY for new episodes! Follow us on Instagram and TikTok @BirdieLittleSecretsPod

Then Rasmus joins the show — jet-lagged, honest, and riding high. He walks Smylie through: • The intense crowds in Australia • Playing head-to-head with Cameron Smith • How firm Royal Melbourne truly played • The near-impossible chip on 18 • The pressure of closing out a win overseas • How he processed the moment on a 20+ hour flight home Thanks for watching — subscribe for more episodes, interviews, and weekly golf breakdowns!
The unbelievable two-year run by Scottie Scheffler continues this week as the U.S. Ryder Cup team members played in Napa Valley in the Procore Championship. With his 6th win this season, Scheffler joined only Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods on the list of players to win 6 or more events in back-to-back seasons on the PGA Tour. Ryder Cup team member Ben Griffin had a chance to force a playoff with Scheffler, but 3-putted for par to lose by a shot. World number 1 amateur Jackson Koivun had his fourth straight top 10 finish on the PGA Tour, while handling the stress of playing in the final group. 11 of the 12 members of the European Ryder Cup team played in the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth this week. Ironically enough, the hottest player on the planet not named Scottie Scheffler took the title. Alex Noren, who is a vica captain for the European team beat all of the Ryder Cup members en route to his 2nd BMW PGA Championship. Also in this episode we are talking 4 putts on the LPGA Tour, John Daly makes a massive number and Kapalua not going to be ready for the Sentry Championship this year? Welcome to the Sweet Spot, sponsored by SBK. Get the latest golf betting tips for the upcoming Open de France, as Dave Clark returns with Joe Champion stepping in to take a look at this week's tournaments. The team also reflects on last week's action, looking back at Alex Noren's second triumph at the BMW PGA Championship and Scottie Scheffler's latest win at the Procore Championship. Joe gives us his predictions for the Open de France, and some early thoughts on next week's Ryder Cup.
Randy and Soly talk all things Procore as Scottie Scheffler shoots a Sunday 67 to beat Ben Griffin by a shot to continue an absurd 2025 as he preps to lead the US team at the Ryder Cup in two weeks. We also give some well deserved props to Griffin's runner up finish and Jackson Koivun as the Walker Cup star lands a top 5. From there we go to the Euro BMW PGA as Alex Noren wins in a playoff at Wentworth, Charley Hull's win in Cincinnati on the LPGA Tour, Greg Norman's LIV exit, and close the pod with some laughs as Randy offers some of his favorite Phil Mickelson moments (59:30). The combined 0-6 Bears, Browns, and Jets lost by a combined 74 points on Sunday. But it is still a victory Monday around here as we welcome Kevin Van Valkenburg to the Fried Egg Golf team. Though he has been a contributor to SGS in the past, he's now on the FE ship full time so we bring him on to bat it around following the weekend of Brocore, Wentworth, and continued Ryder Cup hype. We discuss Scottie Scheffler — his mere presence — putting everyone around him on the fritz, like Ben Griffin, who could have, should have won the Brocore. Did it take a low stakes fall event to really convince us the Tiger invocations are not out of line? Maybe. They also discuss king mule Lanto's involvement in the proceedings and Jackson Koivun needing to stay on Tour and not go back to school. At Wentworth, they discuss Alex Noren being a top 20 player in the world and for sure a top 12 option for Team Europe who will be relegated to the ass-cap role. Then the notion of VR headsets preparing the Euro Ryder Cup team for battle is also bandied about with some amusement. They close with some football chatter and laughs about PJ having to send cringe tweets for the Lions following the Browns wishing Deshaun a happy birthday on Sunday morning.
A logistically challenging episode with Andrew appearing between athletics sessions in Tokyo, Eddie still in Portugal and Iain recovering from a cold while trying to make his garden a barren, wildlife-free zone. Eddie talks about his poor form last week and offers contrition after recognising that he might have gone too far in his frustration. The three wonder if there has ever been a better active golfer as assistant captain than Alex Noren, while recapping the extraordinary finish to Charley Hull's latest LPGA win and applauding a win for Scottie Scheffler to end his three-week long victory drought. This podcast is brought to you by: www.petermillar.co.ukWith support from: www.ping.comEmail: tcf@thechippingforecast.co.ukInstagram: @chippingforecast Hosted on Acast. Will Doctor gives you the sharpest card for the Omega European Masters -Discussing top 9 on odds board -1 matchup -2 t10's -2 outrights (16/1 & 18/1) -Sleeper, Best Bet The Golf Preview Podcast on Pregame's Network (0:12 – 0:29) set the stage for this week's deep dive into PGA Tour and DP World Tour betting picks. Host Will Doctor brought sharp insights, beginning with the headline story of Tommy Fleetwood's first PGA Tour win at Eastlake, a monumental 2025 moment for golf betting fans. From Memphis to the BMW, Fleetwood's heartbreaks turned into motivation, showing resilience and class (0:39 – 9:23). Doctor highlighted upcoming DP World Tour action, including the Omega European Masters at Crans-sur-Sierre, where Matt Wallace defends in the Swiss Alps. With Matthew Fitzpatrick at 9-1, Alex Noren at 14-1, and Aaron Rai at 16-1, the field is stacked. He also previewed the Irish Open, the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth, and the high-stakes Korn Ferry Tour Finals with thirty PGA Tour cards on the line, key storylines shaping fall golf betting. Alex Noren (9:23 – 9:49) celebrated his first victory in seven years, returning from injury with elite iron play and renewed confidence. Will Doctor noted profitable tickets cashed on Fitzpatrick and Smylie, while Rasmus Højgaard locked in his Ryder Cup spot despite missed chances (9:49 – 11:04). Fleetwood's breakthrough was the season's most-watched non-major, with over 4.4 million viewers, a massive data point for PGA Tour betting relevance. Fleetwood's own reflection (11:05 – 11:30) captured the moment: one win as the foundation for many. Yet betting cards saw setbacks with Scottie Scheffler, Viktor Hovland, and Ludvig Åberg falling short (11:31 – 39:00). Only Sam Burns delivered, finishing top ten and strengthening his Ryder Cup candidacy. Doctor analyzed Ryder Cup projections, calling for Scheffler, Schauffele, Henley, English, DeChambeau, Justin Thomas, Cameron Young, Ben Griffin, and Sam Burns to form Team USA, while Cantlay's runner-up finish secured his place. Team Europe, led by Luke Donald, is anchored by Rory McIlroy, Fleetwood, Rose, Hatton, and Højgaard, with Lowry, Straka, Åberg, Hovland, Fitzpatrick, and Rahm likely filling out the roster. The Omega European Masters odds board was then dissected in detail. Fitzpatrick's strong form made him one to watch but not a pre-tournament bet at 9-1. Noren at 14-1 presented elite value, while Aaron Rai's struggles with the putter kept him off Doctor's card. The spotlight shifted to the Højgaard twins, with Nicolai at 16-1 and Rasmus at 18-1, both primed to contend at altitude. Marco Penge's explosive driving but inconsistent putting made him a risky choice. Wyndham Clark at 25-1 drew intrigue, though erratic driving raised concerns. In betting matchups, Oliver Lindell over Yuki Ichikawa emerged as a sharp play. Doctor's official card closed with Noren to top ten at +125, Rasmus Højgaard to top ten at +187, Nicolai Højgaard outright at 16-1, Rasmus outright at 18-1, Sami Välimäki as a sleeper to top ten at +350, and Nicolai Højgaard to top ten as the best bet at +162. These Omega European Masters picks provide actionable golf betting insights backed by recent form, strokes gained data, and Ryder Cup momentum. The Golf Preview Podcast (ending timestamp) delivered a comprehensive breakdown of PGA Tour betting, DP World Tour odds, Ryder Cup team construction, and European Masters predictions. For golf fans and bettors alike, the combination of statistical insight, player performance analysis, and betting recommendations made this preview essential. Pregame's coverage positioned the Omega European Masters as a premier betting opportunity in late summer golf, where smart wagering strategies could turn form analysis into profitable outcomes. Hello and welcome to this enlightening edition of The Flaghunters Golf Podcast ! My name is Jesse Perryman and it is my pleasure to bring you these two great instructors to talk about Golf Instruction, MORAD(Mac O'Grady Research and Development), setting the record straight about the man himself, Mr. Mac O'grady. Mathew Belsham is from England and got his teeth cut in the instructional space via Homer Kelly's, "The Golfing Machine". Mathew also spent twenty years along the side of Mr. O'grady while teaching many clinics with Mac. Notably, Mathew has taught some of the better European players the likes of Alex Noren, Robert Rock and Charlie Hull of the LPGA Tour just to name a few. Justin Tang is a teaching pro at the Tanah Merah Country Club in Singapore and is well-versed in "The Golfing Machine" as well as MORAD. Justin is considered one the best instructors in the Orient and works with some of the best young talent in Europe and Asia. In this Episode, Mathew, Justin and I discuss learning, teaching and Mac. With Mac, we talk about his massive influence in todays instruction that largely goes unnoticed. We also try to change the narrative around Mac because he's been painted negatively by the media when he was on Tour. Mac has been very generous with his hard earned information and we feel it's time to tell the truth about Mac. A big thank you to Mathew Belsham for reaching out to us to set the record straight so we can celebrate Mr. O'grady in the right way. Also, a big thank you to Justin for arranging this very important discussion. Enjoy this Episode and send out a Thank You to Mac for his massive contribution to our Game !

Host Carl Lewis and golf punter Wade Pretorius preview two tournaments this weekend, the Shriners Children's Open & Open de España. The PGA Tour heads to Vegas for the Shriners Hospital for Children Open this week. This event often gets a few bigger names, as the Vegas location makes it somewhat more attractive to the bigger names in golf. The Shriners Hospital for Children Open has a regular cut line of the top 65 players and ties. It's a full-field event with 150-plus players and has quite a bit more talent at the top of the board than last week's field, which had just one player in the top 40 of the OWGR. This week the event features 12 players in the top 50 of the OWGR, with the highest-ranked player being Patrick Cantlay at No. 4. Here's a list of the top 5 players in the OWGR in the Shriners field this week. Patrick Cantlay — 4 Max Homa — 17 Sungjae Im — 19 Tom Kim — 21 Aaron Wise — 36 Other Notables: Si Woo Kim, Garrick Higgo, Rickie Fowler, Alex Noren, Emiliano Grillo Across the pond in Spain, he might have fallen to sixth in the Official World Golf Rankings but former World No.1 Jon Rahm will be the star of the show at this week's Spanish Open in Madrid. The tournament is one of the continent's oldest and has been the site of many historic moments, not the least being Seve Ballesteros' 50th European Tour victory in 1995. His third Spanish Open crown, it was also the legendary Spaniard's last tournament win, in hindsight a fitting end to a stunning career. In recent years the tournament has lost a little of its lustre but there is no questioning its place in history with an honour roll including some of the best to ever play the game. Arnold Palmer, Nick Faldo, Bernhard Langer, Colin Montgomerie, Peter Thomson and Peter Alliss are just a sampling of the former champions and Rahm himself has twice been a winner.
The boys are all back together in "Studio 1A" to talk some golf! Things get kicked off by recapping some links golf across the pond at the Dunhill and how Ryan Fox survived some tough conditties on Friday and held off Rory, Alex Noren and a robust Euro field! Next, the guys discussed the victory by everyone's favorite Canadian, Mac Hughes, down at the Sanderson this weekend in Jackson, MS! And later on, the guys checked in on some big-time college golf being played in the DFW area this week, as Wichita State was at Trinity Forest, while the OU and OSU men were in a star-studded, jacked field at Colonial and the Ben Hogan Invitational! But this pod was mainly about the Congregation, and the YSO family came out big winners as our man, Scotty G, slipped on his first green jacket in Woodward at one of our favorite places, Boiling Springs! The boys talk through the whole weekend, including some night golf, great food, and all the superlatives of yet another fantastic Congregation tourney! Tons of thanks to Jeff Wagner and the BSGC crew for rolling out the red carpet yet again, as the only thing better than the course conditions were the people involved! We're already looking forward to next year's Cong, just like always! All that, and so much more on this week's YSO podcast!!! @ysogolf @sports_prose @ScottyG21 @DirtyBirdiesDFS @chalkokc https://fantasysportsprose.com/ https://chalkokc.com/
It's a road-weary Monday episode with Andy in Frisco, where he has some thoughts about the development of North Texas and the PGA's “efficient” new headquarters. On golf, they discuss Sunday at the Old Course, where Alex Noren hit it off the Rusacks hotel for a potential eagle. That leads to a harebrained idea of how the Old Course should combat that kind of good break. There's also some Ryan Fox talk and plenty of Rory quotes -- on weather, his consistency vs. the flash of his youth, and whether he's taken over Billy Boy as the peak baton twirler. On the PGA Tour, they ponder whether Mac Hughes winning the Sanderson is just consolation for the Canadians after last week's Pres Cup debacle. News touches on Bryson's performance in the Pro Long Drive competition.
Alex Noren is a PGA Tour and DP World Tour player. He has 13 professional wins and is a former Ryder Cupper. Alex is an alumni of Oklahoma State (2005) where he and Coach McGraw had a player/coach relationship. He takes us down memory lane starting with his days as a junior player, through his collegiate days, and up until today as a professional player. A lot of interesting anecdotes are shared in today's podcast, one of which is the backstory behind the famous picture of his worn-down and calloused hands. There is a lot to unpack in this episode as Dougie visited the prestigious grounds of Baltusrol Golf Club and attended the US Am at Ridgewood Country Club in New Jersey. Q Money happened to bump into Alex Noren on the range and shares his experience chatting with and watching Noren slap a few balls around. Lastly, the boys react to the Netflix documentary on Manti Te'o and his story of being catfished.
