Listen as Jonny and Darin discuss the movie's creepy-crawly Spielberg-ian touches, its perfect balance of comedy and scares, and lament how modern moviegoers try to "outsmart" the films they watch instead of engaging with the magic of them. When you combine X Games gold medals, restaurant dreams, and a DIY teardrop trailer built in a garage with hand tools from Home Depot—you get Escapod. In this episode, Tyler Jorgenson sits down with Jen and Chris Hudak, the powerhouse couple behind Escapod Trailers, to unpack their rugged road to success. From competitive ski slopes to the rocky startup terrain of entrepreneurship, Jen and Chris share how their unique talents (and willingness to sleep in tight quarters with two kids and a dog) helped them build a cult-followed adventure brand. But don't be fooled—this isn't your average glamping origin story. We dive into their startup days launching in a mother-in-law's garage, the art of risk-taking, and what it's like to find product-market fit by accident while racing mountain bikes. They share the real behind-the-scenes of growing a business as a married couple, evolving past founder mode, and how they're scaling Escapod into a high-performance brand while keeping their marriage, sanity, and camping gear intact. As they gear up to launch their new mountain bike-specific trailer at the Sea Otter Classic, Jen and Chris reflect on the highs, the whack-a-mole challenges of founder life, and why sometimes your customers know better than you do. Plus, find out who their dream brand ambassador is (hint: think cliffs, cameras, and killer calves). Whether you're an adrenaline junkie, gearhead, or weekend warrior dreaming of a side hustle—this one's a wild ride.Key TakeawaysFrom X Games to Escapod: Jen's competitive drive and Chris's resourcefulness collided to create more than a company—it sparked an aspirational lifestyle brand for adventure seekers.Build it and They Will Ask Questions: Their original trailer wasn't built to sell—but became a business idea after it attracted attention on mountain biking trips. Early validation came not from pitches, but from pure curiosity.Grow Together or Bust: As co-founders and spouses, balancing roles (and diapers) while scaling a company meant scheduling intentional family time, leaning into their opposite skillsets, and letting go of ego to evolve the brand.Chapters00:00 Introduction to Escapod Trailers01:44 The Entrepreneurial Journey Begins03:20 From Garage to Business05:01 Identifying Market Gaps07:20 Defining Roles in the Partnership08:40 Realizing Business Potential11:00 Overcoming Challenges as Founders13:44 Unique Adventures with Escapod Trailers16:30 Dream Collaborations and Future Plans17:33 Innovations in Trailer Design19:22 Listening to Customer Feedback21:59 Balancing Business and Personal Life26:31 Future Aspirations and Bucket Lists
In this Palm Sunday sermon, Pastor Clay NeSmith explores the significance of Jesus's final week before crucifixion through three powerful object lessons: Jesus riding on a donkey into Jerusalem, Mary anointing Jesus with expensive perfume, and the cursing of the fruitless fig tree. Pastor Clay teaches how these events reveal God's purpose for His people - not just to receive salvation for heaven's sake, but to live fruitful lives that reflect God's glory to the world. He reminds us that Jesus came first as a suffering servant to establish peace with God and will return as the victorious King. This inspiring message challenges believers to discover their purpose and produce spiritual fruit rather than merely having the appearance of faith.

On this week's episode, Scotty, Fred and the rest of the ski trip crew come together and revisit their 2025 ski trip to Angel Fire, NM. It was an absolute adventure with the group getting pulled over, partying at the cabin, and making the trip to Taos, NM. Along the way, the group has tons of stories from "the yarn store", and bomb warnings on the mountain. Listeners did send in some questions as well. At what point are you not going down a ski run, and who has wiped out the worst? Lastly, what ski resorts are on your bucket list, and could you survive on a ski lift for 12 hours? Enjoy another episode, and as always, keep laughing!

MONSTER PARTY GETS TIME STONED! JAMES GONIS, SHAWN SHERIDAN, LARRY STROTHE, and MATT WEINHOLD use THE EYE OF AGAMOTTO to predict the fate of the current trend of meta-human films. It's a cacophony of caped crusading conjecture, presenting the question, "What is ... THE FUTURE OF SUPERHEROES!!!" In this episode, we chronicle the fantastic evolution of screen superheroes from past to present, and what might lie ahead. Expect some mutant level banter about the racist Batman serials of the 1940's, TV offerings including THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, WONDER WOMAN, and THE INCREDIBLE HULK, the lightning in a bottle that was SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE, the unrivaled success of the MARVEL CINEMATIC UNIVERSE, the hit-but-mostly-miss offerings of the D.C. On this week's episode Tink has rejoined us to discuss our bucket list fantasies. Tiff's fantasy is wild and crazy and full of possibilities yet could be hard to get all together. Pedro's is getting the ultimate hot husband surprise, while Tink wants to cream-pied all over. Tink asks the question many poly people struggle with and that is How was the one on one time? We discussed the missing of each other, difference in communication and how each one of us handled not being all together. In our BDSM, Tiff and Pedro discuss her journey into becoming a submissive and what she will want to get out of submission and the growth submission can give her.
What if, instead of fixating on what's left on your bucket list, you created an “anti-bucket list” of things you no longer need to do? This perspective-shifting idea comes from award-winning filmmaker Skye Bergman, who has gathered 3,000 years of collective wisdom from adults 75+ on how to live well.As milestone birthdays like 70 approach, many of us wonder if we'll have enough time to accomplish everything we desire. Bergman's documentary Lives Well-Lived and book Lives Well-Lived Generations challenge our youth-obsessed culture by showcasing vibrant, purposeful aging. Her research identifies four essential elements of a well-lived life: purpose, community, resilience, and positivity. Purpose evolves, especially after retirement, when professional identity shifts. The key is finding what truly brings joy—whether it's making mozzarella for your daughter's deli or volunteering to teach English. Bergman challenges ageist limitations with inspiring examples like her grandmother, who started working out at 80, and Ernestine Shepard, who became a champion bodybuilder in her 50s after losing loved ones to diabetes. These stories prove that age doesn't define what's possible.Bergman also highlights the power of intergenerational connections in combating isolation. Her monthly potluck dinners, bringing together women from ages 20 to 90, dissolve ageist divides and create a meaningful community.Ready to embrace aging on your own terms? It's time to create your anti-bucket list—letting go of what no longer serves you while embracing purpose, connection, and joy. Listen now to start redefining what's possible.Bio Sky Bergman is an accomplished, award-winning photographer. "Lives Well Lived" is Sky's directorial debut. Back in 2020, while the world was grappling with the pandemic and its many challenges, Brad Henrichs faced another devastating blow—he was diagnosed with cancer. Facing this life-altering moment, he felt the need to reevaluate his priorities. On his bucket list was a motorcycle ride to Alaska. He began planning and soon found himself riding his motorcycle to Alaska with his daughter sitting behind him. Some parts of the trip unfolded exactly as planned, while others took unexpected turns, but every mile became an unforgettable adventure. BUCKET LIST is an Adventure Rider Radio series that features destinations through riders' experiences. Word of mouth provides valuable insight into what it's like to ride in a particular location.
