In 2020, the USMNT and USWNT asked us to Be The Change. In 2021, we as AO are accepting that call to action and, through our member shirt and other initiatives and actions, are telling them “We The Change.” The 2021 member shirt was a collaboration with Black Arrow FC, a platform and lifestyle brand that focuses on the cross-section between soccer and black culture. Donald sits down with Aaron Dolores, founder of Black Arrow FC, to discuss all the great things they’re doing to raise the profile of black athletes and voices in the American soccer space. We also get into the concept behind the 2021 member shirt and what We The Change means to him. As we move through a busy year, We The Change will serve as a reminder to us all to do what we can to change the game and society in this country for the better.

Says futsal should play a larger role and be further integrated into US Soccer development. Carter suggests fan liaisons and a “constant feedback loop” with US Soccer to improve in-game atmosphere and better stadiums’ understanding of fans’ needs. FIND OUT MORE BY LISTENING
Kyle Martino talks about why he should be the new US Soccer president and his platform. “I think there are many stakeholders and people who contribute to the growth of this game who don’t have a voice in this election.” “We are vanguards. We have a game that is the best experience to be at as a fan. And instead of the federation being a competitor and a barrier, it’s going to be a facilitator.” “How you grow soccer culture is realizing this game is blue collar. It’s everyone’s game...and the fans run this game.” “Pardon me for being a purist, but the game needs to be played on grass.” - @kylemartino on selecting venues and playing surfaces for the #USWNT. “If we do it for our men, we need to do it for our women.”
