Valentine's Day is that one time of year where pretty much the same usual suspects occurs and/or is shared: chocolates/candy, flowers, dinner in or out, and/or a movie and perhaps the proverbial romantic back or foot massage. *Blows bangs to express boredom and hoe-hum* Well, this epi of AngFrankPodcast was inspired by Ang (watching “50 Shades of Grey” for the first time…no…she didn't go out and grab the book and stand in long lines at the theatre to go see it). But much to her surprise, it sparked an idea that (as the intimacist she fancies herself) prompted her to drop a podcast to assist lovebirds and couples in perhaps looking into some other non-traditional intimate ideas that could assist you in learning each other more-in every intimate way from never before discussed desires to downright devancies and fetishes that couples probably never explore. Give each other a time-out pass, where this upcoming and future Valentines Day's, together, you are free to discuss thoughts, feelings, desires and perhaps requests that you may want but may have been to afraid or ashamed to ask. If no other time of the year, allow yourselves at least a February 14th day yearly pass to at least talk these things over, even if it doesn't get explored. I promise, AngFrankPodcast, a champion of relationship and intimacy, will bring the two of you closer than you've ever been. Abuse of Power v. Bad Sex: The Reason to Feel Sorry Aziz Ansari (But Condemn "Hollywood Harvey"). In the throes of the MeToo movement and women being all around sick of the shame and secrets that come with sex (both shared/consensual and unwanted), AngFrankPodcast evaluates the situation with comedian Aziz Ansari who was publicly outed for (what later turned out to be) unwanted sex during the act where a young woman came forward and told her story about the ordeal. Uniquely, the situation was that thin line between consensual to unwanted, In the epi, AngFrankPodcast gives her own (real life) examples of the same while discussing how these things happen and what we (men and women) can do to avoid them from happening going forward. Blu Ivy's mommy Beyonce is typically the Queen of playing connect the dot-like "Blues Clues." Unlike her usual clues and moves, she did something different. Sometimes while recording, AngFrankPodcast may have a song in her head or segue to a blog written. In either case, we call those “Intermissions.” This particular intermission is connected to an entertainment news blog post/compilation that included Beyonce's new news of that day: Without warning (or rumor), she dropped something in the wee hours of the morning (yet, again-like she does her album drops): Full blown fertility/flowers photos of her being preggers—with twins this time! Trump and literal social politics and our associations (and disassociation) in social media world. Sometimes while recording, AngFrankPodcast may have a song in her head or segue to a blog written. In either case, we call those “Intermissions.” This particular intermission is connected to an entertainment news blog post regarding the invitees who pulled out of performing at Donald Trump's Inauguration celebration. While there is a complete write-up about it here ► https://goo.gl/e7EJff I am completely surprised that I didn't continue turning this “Intermission” to a full blown podcast about social politics and our associations (and disassociation) during the age of social media versus once upon a long time ago (but I am sure I will be touching on that subject in another podcast as, as mentioned in the bio as well, I try and make sure that if I do touch on an subject going on in the entertainment world, if some part about the current event has to do with the human condition and plight; I will record a pod on it. This subject of how we publicly associate (and disassociate) deserves a pod. And yes, you will find one in the lineup.
Like “worldly” society and culture, religion (in all its divinity and worship of the divine), often times finds its subculture in the middle of the road between that fine line of judge not-least you will be judged—and judging. Now, more than ever, millennials and (thanks to advances in technology and the digital age enabling us all to take life and career by the horns) dating and having a “life” can be problematic—for various reasons. The turn of every end year going into the New Year tends to bring about less than positive feelings and emotions of failure, regret, anxiety and angst-while reflecting and trying to look forward. In the particular podcast show, AngFrankPodcast breaks down the difference between the calendar change into the changing with the new year versus the seasonal/solstice change of the REAL “New Year” (which is spring solstice) and how the changes we tend to make at the calendar change are best served with the season's true ‘new year'—just as sure as seasons change and blossom or ripen fruit. As spiritual beings having human experiences, we are connected to the solstice-just moved by society and the “calendar.” AngFrankPodcast helps us to make sense of it all. Fame, Social Media, Success and How to Determine How To Ration Out Your Work, Worth & Time by #AngFrankWithYou
We tend to fancy ourselves ‘positive' when we can point out the negatives in others' behaviors. From there, we tend to think the problem is solved by pointing it out, and/or isolating ourselves from it or them-when the truth is, we too are just as negative (and cowardly) when we don't attempt to correct the action yet, reacted by pointing it out. In this podcast AngFrankPodcast show discusses that and how we can change our thinking by holding ourselves accountable to taking “negativity” it a step further. In this podcast show, AngFrankPodcast discusses how (bad or good) we as human beings need to experience (emotionally, mentally, physically) opposite that which we decide is so/or that we are—especially when we are still at young impressionable ages and have made (finite/irreversible) decisions about or sex when we still have time to explore, or make final, or decision about our sexuality. In this podcast, whether it be about making decisions about our sex and sexuality, up to and including other matters of the heart and life, AngFrankPodcast discusses why it's necessary we experience opposite that which we feel is “real” or “good” or “true” about us before making finite / permanent / irreversible decisions about what we feel is really, real. Often times, many decisions need time, experience, maturity before knowing what's really "real" for us in the greater later vs. the impulsive now.
Although, for this podcast, I will explain a little bit here on SoundCloud, I ENCOURAGE ALL PLAYS /LISTENING HERE ► http://goo.gl/XGs4Ka THE ENTIRE BACKSTORY AND BLOG ABOUT THIS PARTICULAR PODCAST IS IN THAT LINK, TOO! Ok. This is Podcast in filed in my sex/relationships http://goo.gl/2ZeVf2 series at Other Side of the Fame http://goo.gl/C6w6SA In this podcast we are going to talk about that dating phase between: DATING →EXCLUSIVITY (commitment without the ring) and why a woman should date the length of time most spend time being a "girlfriend." In this podcast I will show you why, and how to set a standard for exclusivity and doing other wife-like things without being a wife and having no ring so that dating you is a desire, not a task and at the end of it all, you thrown away like trash. THE ACTUAL BLOG begins with a blog about Rihanna and leads into my theory about why she cried on stage when singing the lyrics to a particular song and how just because we left someone doesn't mean we (or they) weren't 'kept.'
When Diddy posted this, I ‘immeeedjatley' caught the vibe. I wished I was there soooo bad. He and this girl that was vibin' with him was fierce. I love jam sessions and impromptu jam sessions and between her vibin' and Diddy promoting, all that was missing was my come through with some fierce old school Stephanie Mills. This was a moment that all that was missing was me. I LOVE this “intermission.” More on that here ► https://goo.gl/Aldkt5
As you already know from my Diddy intermission, I love a good jam session. This particular intermission was something I did after Tisha Campbell's music video “Lazy Bitch” dropped. It was pretty exciting to see her talking fly a$$ shit and back in the booth after some time + playing Gina (“Martin”). I've always loved Tisha's voice and took a moment to reminisce on some of my favorite songs she's sang. Tap here for those ► https://goo.gl/piDYwK
Social media Janet fans celebrated Jan's "Control" album 30 year anniversary. On this intermission, I took a moment to post a few of my favs on the blog ► http://goo.gl/8rsl7F and sing a snippet of one of my favorites I loved to sing to-off the CD that hardly anybody every wrote or talked about. You'll have to tap in to find out which song it s. Hint: It's not "Control" "Nasty" or "Pleasure Principle."
On this intermission, I was just messing around, and having fun on this blistering cold day. Walmart JUST advertised the new #PattiPie , #PattiCake and I just felt the urge to belt it out. https://twitter.com/OSFMagHQ/status/691065248447537152 See our #PattiPie blog here >> http://goo.gl/8ffq5P More on Patti Labelle here >> http://goo.gl/AoaoYH Our articles/mentions on Walmart here>> http://goo.gl/QpcilI
...I know this intermission may sound like I'm (singing) "Yeahhhh" in answering the question "Is PATTI LABELLE Wrong For Not Paying The Guy For The Video Gone Viral" ...but trust me, I'm just attempting to belt Patti LaBelle's "If Only You Knew"--the song and underlying subject of (this particular snippet's) backstory. LoL. ► https://goo.gl/8ffq5P
In the words of (my absolute favorite song by) Patti LaBelle, "I just want you to know...how I feel." So...the world witness this random guy giving an video review of Pattie LaBelle's Patti Pie. After it had gone viral, it was reported that sales of the pie had gone up astronomically. But did that mean Patti LaBelle's should ingratiate herself to him in the form of cutting him a slice of the money pie? Pardon my excitement but..I love Vanessa Williams and her music-so I get a little tongue-tied. And excited...because well...like I explain in the Puff Daddy/Diddy and Tisha intermission, I'm always (spontaneously) down for my own lil' jam session. LoL. Her music and backstory can be read here► https://goo.gl/OC2Tbh
Although “pop-culture” is short for ‘popular' culture, pop music is vastly becoming more popular than RnB music-which is fading to back (as has rock, soft-rock and “alternative”) music genres. There is a reason for this. And in this epi of AngFrankPodcast , she breaks down the exact reason(s) why, and how (with the exception of hip-hop/rap) pop music is kicking all other music genres' ass and taking down names—literally and figuratively. Just as sure as a woman's MENstruation is a given and(for life-until her her 'change of life' aka "MENOPAUSE occurs); she will need to learn how to deal with her monthly. And in addition to her menstruation and menopause, women need to learn and know "men" (too)-for her emotional, spiritual and mental continuity and flow... In this digital day and age where women have taken control of their lives, and livelihood's far up and over in ways that make the women's liberation movement look like a primitive June Cleaver episode, women (now, more than ever) need to know the signs of one of the worse traits in men: Misogyny. While not all men are misogynists; the scary part about it is that misogynistic behaviors in most often times isn't as laid out on the table as one would think. While this particular podcast isn't as extensive as I should have made it, and because I am a writer-conditioned to reach for my pen (or keyboard) before the tedious setup to record; I took a moment to interject this necessary piece of pod and direct my listeners to excerpts from my (not yet published) book titled: "Feel Like a Lady, Deal Like a Man - Tips & Secrets on Everything from Self Esteem, Friends, Love, Sex and Men." There, I have a VERY informative chapter on misogyny and the mechanics and makings of it. After listening to the pod, tap in to the blog to get enlightened and ennobled ► https://goo.gl/PciTbK
Just...an out take and the 'record' button was near. I'm thinking this was where (the impulse to include intermissions along my podcasts)was birthed.
With the onset of the world being brought together at each of our fingertips, we are now more vocal than never before. Controversial/pro v. con issues and subjects surround breastfeeding in public, fat-shaming and the need to make the taboo become an awareness for acceptance as ‘normal' e.g., menstruation, body acceptance and masturbation. In this epi of AngFrankPodcast Show, AngFrank discusses each while giving her take on what is (and what's not) necessary. Tap in for the backstory here ► https://goo.gl/n29CRn
What I do technically or creatively and how I am spiritually, mentally, emotionally and interpersonally are their own sectors and things. But how I think and what I aspire to have and plan for is its own. While this is another intermission of sorts, I interjected it into AngFrankPodcast Show because (while this subject isn't apart of the show's premise), conclusively, it is very much apart of my interest (and something I felt others might want to know too), as Corcoran's slant was the antithesis of what partnering in business, typically is. ► http://bit.ly/1VZ8y7n
