    Ali Plumb is BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra's film critic, where he is the face of the station's film content, most notably the 'Movies That Made Me' strand in which award-winning actors analyse their greatest roles to date. Following successful stints at Empire Magazine and Digital Spy, Ali landed a gig at the BBC in 2016, where in his day-to-day he can be found chatting to the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone. Josh started his journey into the world of music business when he co-founded Southpoint, a record label established in 2015 to shine light on the UK's bass and grime scene. Southpoint are now considered one of the UK’s leading grime and bass movements. In 2018, Josh graduated with a first (1:1) degree in Music Business (BA) and left his part-time supermarket job to begin working full-time in the industry, including more recently on his latest venture, Project Gosh.
