How do you start a record label? What is the best way to develop artists? Is starting a business with your friends a good idea? These are just a few of the questions that Brighton-based entrepreneur Josh Gunston gives his take on. Josh started his journey into the world of music business when he co-founded Southpoint, a record label established in 2015 to shine light on the UK's bass and grime scene. Southpoint are now considered one of the UK’s leading grime and bass movements. In 2018, Josh graduated with a first (1:1) degree in Music Business (BA) and left his part-time supermarket job to begin working full-time in the industry, including more recently on his latest venture, Project Gosh.
