The Cross of Christ DOES divide--1 Corinthians 1:18 makes that quite clear. The unsaved see the Cross as foolishness, while the saved see it as, and KNOW it to be the power of God--THAT is a divide; the saved and the unsaved are 'at odds' when it comes to the Cross. However, the Cross of Christ should NOT divide the saved from the saved! The Cross is a monument to the love, mercy, grace, power, and wisdom of God (I could go on). Because I am saved by grace through faith in what Christ did on the Cross, I should, logically then, LIVE by continuing to keep my faith in that which saved me. Join us at 8pm as we continue in our Cross-Talking series with lesson 2 of 'The Word of The Cross 101'.

Perhaps more than the other member of the five-fold ministry callings, it is the divinely commissioned evangelist who can be distinguished from the rest, that is, as it pertains to the ministry of reconciliation, because they have one thing that the others MAY NOT--and I stress--MAY NOT have—and that is a BURDEN. Join us as we continue in our study of the ministry of reconciliation, with the spotlight on the evangelist. #thecuttingitrightbiblestudy #reconciliationandtheevangelist
This lesson will deal the role of the 5-fold ministry in the ministry of reconciliation, with a focus on the evangelist. Join us for an eye-opening look at how it all comes together.
Here we go! We're excited to begin a brand new series of studies focusing on the ministry of reconciliation. It is our prayer that these studies will do far more than just inform and educate; rather, our primary goal is that we might empowered, equipped and even transformed as we allow the Spirit of God to underline on our hearts the absolute necessity and urgency of this most important divine directive. First up: a definition of terms, and a look into the heart of God--the author of reconciliation. #thecuttingitrightbiblestudy #theministryofreconciliation #straightfromtheheartofGod
In his session we'll be wrapping up our study of spiritual growth with some things to remember as we seek to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord.
In our final lesson on temptation, we will look at some things to remember--that is, what to watch out for. But that's not enough, because we'll also reveal (in the words of Curtis Hutchinson), the how to do the 'what to do.'
In warfare, it's important to recognize and understand the enemy's tactics and schemes. This is why we are given the explicit principle in scripture, not to be ignorant of the devil's devices. At the same time, we are not to be obsessed with what the devil is doing; rather we are to be obsessed with what Christ has already done regarding him. In this lesson we will sort through some of the devil's schemes and purposes--with the full knowledge that he is a defeated foe. #thecuttingitrighbiblestudy #deakingwithtemptation #whenthedevilstandsup
Dealing with temptation properly requires several wisdom, perseverance, and humility--and these are all made possible by having the proper faith. We'll look at three individuals from scripture who dealt with temptation--but only one handled it right. #firstprinciples #thecuttingitrightbiblestudy

As unfortunate as it may be, dead works are more prevalent in the church than we realize. What is this unfortunate dynamic that that has deceived many? Join us in this lesson. #thecuttingitrightbiblestudy #firstprinciples #repentamcefromdeadworks

While some segments of Christianity continue to insist that confession and repentance are not necessary, we continue to strongly disagree, understanding that confession and repentance are vital components to life in Christ. Because our sin nature is yet alive, what do we do when sin does happen? We confess and repent. Join us in this lesson as we clarify the difference between the two, and look at what can happen if we fail to confess our sins. #firstprinciples #confessionandrepentance #knowingthedifference
In this lesson, we'll look at several aberrant and opposing views to heaven and the after-life, and of course learn more about the real heaven that awaits God's people. #thecuttingitrightbiblestudy #firstprinciples #heaven
Ah yes! What can we say about heaven? Though Jesus Himself spoke more of hell than heaven (from what we read in the gospels), the Bible as a whole has more to say about heaven. When its all put together, heaven will be a more than spectacular place--far, far beyond what words can adequately describe. First up, we'll look at some popular myths and misconceptions about heaven, before we get to the fine details.
