Evil is real. In this second part of our conversation with Jareb and Petra Nott, Bible teachers who operate a deliverance ministry and train others to help set people free from demonic influence, we discuss generational issues and why the occult, witchcraft, and evil are so everpresent in today's world. The key question: what's driving the increase? And how should Christians respond? "So, the fascination with evil in society right now — we have a huge interest in the supernatural and people don't know where to turn to learn about that," Petra explained. "So, they're turning to the wrong side."Authors of the book "The Science of Deliverance: How Spiritual Freedom Brings Physical Healing," the husband and wife duo say they take a scientific approach to healing the influence of evil. Listen to them explore these themes among others.MORE INFORMATION:- Want to know more? In this episode, I tell a personal story about a 10-day Vipassana silent meditation retreat I took in South Korea in 2017. I was isolated from the world for 10 days. No internet. No smartphones. No books. Nothing! I meditated all day every day and discovered what/who my biggest enemy in life is. This is a story that, I think, will really make you reflect a lot on yourself. I'm not religious at all, but I highly recommend taking a spiritual retreat. It's an awesome eye-opening experience. The photo that inspired 'The Enemy' is a picture of the meditation centre I took when I arrived there. You can see it on my website (link below). Michael Arditti is an award-winning author of 11 novels, he's written short stories, and worked as a theatre critic and book reviewer for national newspapers. His new novel is 'The Anointed'. It's a retelling of the biblical King David, as told through his 3 wives, Michal, Abigail and Bathsheba. We talk about how he put his own spin on history, and why he chose to write about such a specific time, and retell a famous story. His novel, 'Easter', won the first Waterstones Mardi Gras Award, he's also penned 'The Celibate', 'Of Men and Angels', 'The Enemy', and others. All of his books explore the theme of religion, and why some believe and others don't. We talk about why he constantly unpacks that in his stories, and how he comes up with new ideas for ways to explore the theme in prose. Michael talks about why he's a morning person, and how he fits his day around that, what he thinks about originality and wasting-words, and why he doesn't like being told what he can't write simply because he's a male in London. You can get a copy of 'The Anointed' here - https://amzn.to/3AdwLzbYou can support the show on Patreon here - patreon.com/writersroutine.@writerspodwritersroutine.com See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Y por supuesto, su one-liner definitivo: 'Then, he will die'.
