The Five-Fold Ministry has been massively misrepresented! It's either one extreme or the other with no balance in the body of Christ. It's NOT about numbers, popularity, or status to fill ego and self. It's about truly representing the heart of the Father with purity. What we are viewing on social media and witnessing in many churches today is not the flow of the Holy Spirit. A five-fold team co-labors together, each flowing in their unique gifting, yet together; brings unity to the body of Christ to help build and equip maturity while avoiding falsehood. (See Ephesians 4:11-16). It's more than just focusing on the pastor; it's a dedicated corporate team working together under one body and one Christ! (See 1 Corinthians 12). Daily Study: Ministry gifts are offices within the body of Christ designed to equip believers. God appoints individuals to these roles and provides the anointing needed to fulfill their responsibilities. A person can be placed into, removed from, or transitioned between offices. When someone moves into a new office, a fresh anointing is given to operate effectively in that role. In this episode, Dr. Joseph Mattera unpacks the biblical and historical foundations of the five-fold ministry—apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers—as outlined in Ephesians 4. Are these roles still relevant today, or were they only for the early church? Why did God give these specific gifts to the body of Christ—and what happens when they are neglected? Drawing from Scripture and church history, this teaching explores the original intent behind each office, how they function in a healthy church ecosystem, and why reclaiming these roles is essential for equipping the saints, building the church, and advancing the Kingdom in our generation. In this deep dive discussion, we explore Glenn Bleakney's teaching on the idea that modern churches may be lacking a vital element, particularly in connecting with younger generations who exhibit spiritual hunger alongside a distrust of institutions. The conversation introduces Glenn Bleakney's perspective, which suggests the church has adopted a corporate mindset that prioritizes efficiency over relationships and genuine discipleship. Bleakney proposes a return to the biblical five-fold ministry gifts from Ephesians 4—apostle, prophet, evangelist, shepherd, and teacher—arguing they are not mere titles but essential gifts for equipping the church and advancing God's kingdom. Our discussion unpacks Bleakney's understanding of the significance of the number five and how these gifts, exemplified by Jesus, should function collaboratively within the church to foster growth, unity, and outward mission, ultimately fulfilling Christ's purpose to "fill all things." For those interested in practical application, Kingdom Reformation offers resources aligned with these teachings to help churches rediscover this biblical framework for ministry and discipleship.
In this thought-provoking episode, Glenn Bleakney explores the church's post-pandemic reality, examining why traditional attendance metrics have declined while the need for meaningful connection has increased. The conversation centers on a powerful biblical framework: the five-fold ministry gifts outlined in Ephesians 4—apostle, prophet, evangelist, shepherd, and teacher.Bleakney makes a compelling case that these gifts, perfectly embodied by Jesus himself, aren't merely historical roles but essential functions for today's church. When properly understood and integrated, they equip believers, cultivate authentic unity, and enable effective kingdom impact in an increasingly disconnected world. The discussion challenges prevailing corporate, department-based church models, advocating instead for a return to relational, family-oriented structures where all five gifts operate in harmony. Particularly relevant for reaching relationship-oriented generations like Gen Z, this biblical approach emphasizes the importance of mutual honor, submission, and collaboration among diverse ministry expressions.Join us for an inspiring exploration of how embracing the fullness of Christ through these complementary gifts can revitalize the church's mission and restore its transformative influence in our complex cultural moment.Subscribe to the leader's community at https://kingdomreformation.org

Enterprise Connect Podcast | Technology Reseller News “RCS will bring rich messaging to 100% of the U.S. population — and it's going to change the face of customer experience.” – Ivan Ostojic, Chief Business Officer, Infobip. Messaging is transforming — fast. At Enterprise Connect 2025, Infobip's Chief Business Officer Ivan Ostojic joined Doug Green of Technology Reseller News to share key findings from the company's latest research on global messaging trends and the rapidly accelerating adoption of RCS (Rich Communication Services) in North America. According to Infobip's data, RCS adoption increased fivefold in 2024, a leap Ostojic described as “historic” — and one with major implications for how businesses engage with customers. “North America has long lagged behind in rich messaging due to the limited adoption of WhatsApp,” said Ostojic. “But with Apple now supporting RCS and carriers onboard, we expect near-universal reach by the end of the year.” Three Trends Colliding to Reshape CX Ostojic highlighted three converging forces: A Generational Shift in Preferences – Up to 90% of Gen Z prefers messaging over voice calls for business interactions. Super Apps and Rich Channels – Messaging platforms now include app-like experiences, payment flows, and deep integrations. Agentic AI – Natural language interfaces and AI agents are enabling hyper-personalized, real-time conversations. Together, these trends position rich messaging channels as both a front-end interface for AI and a critical layer of the customer experience. Commerce, Support, and Engagement Reimagined Whether shopping, troubleshooting, or simply staying informed, Ostojic shared real-world examples of how RCS and rich messaging are redefining user journeys: A customer can request a product, receive personalized recommendations, complete a purchase, and pay — all within a single chat. Enterprises can route inquiries intelligently, escalating complex issues to live agents, all within the same channel. Healthcare and media organizations use messaging for ongoing engagement, from appointment reminders to interactive campaigns. The Reality Gap: Messaging Maturity Still Low Despite the tech's potential, Infobip's Conversational Maturity Index revealed a slower reality. Only 30% of companies are truly omnichannel, and just 10–15% use advanced conversational AI in customer-facing roles. “The technology is ready,” said Ostojic, “but most businesses are still in early phases of adoption.” A Call to Action for Enterprises and the Channel Ostojic advised organizations to be purposeful in deploying AI, starting with use cases that deliver clear ROI. He also emphasized a major opportunity for channel partners: to bring this technology to their customers, simplify integrations, and unlock new value streams. Unlocking Divine Design: The Hebrew Letter Hei & the Fivefold MinistryIn this illuminating episode of Kingdom Reformation, Glenn Bleakney explores the profound connection between the Hebrew letter Hei (ה) and the fivefold ministry described in Ephesians 4:11. Discover how this fifth letter of the Hebrew alphabet—representing revelation, divine breath, and the window between worlds—perfectly mirrors God's design for equipping His church through apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers.Glenn breaks down the mystical architecture of Hei, revealing how its three components (the Daleth structure, the Yod-to-Zayin transformation, and the isolated left line) create spiritual portals through which heaven's realities manifest on earth. Learn how the biblical significance of the number five appears throughout Scripture at critical junctures where divine grace interfaces with human experience. This episode will transform your understanding of both ancient Hebrew wisdom and New Testament ministry gifts, showing how God's consistent design throughout salvation history provides everything necessary for His kingdom to come "on earth as it is in heaven."To access the full teaching, visit https://open.substack.com/pub/glennbleakney/p/the-hebrew-letter-hei-bridging-heaven?r=1835d8&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&showWelcomeOnShare=true

Summary: The five fold ministry of Christ was to bring forth the Body of Christ into a maturity, into the fullness of Christ in the earth. These gift ministries are not a position but a commission to servitude to the Body of Christ just as their Lord and Master came to serve the Father's will in the earth. Quotes: There's a lot of people out there today that say we don't need apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. But the problem is we do. We need these apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers, they all serve a purpose. The whole point of apostles and prophets is to build up the body. And basically they're servants. ...as we go on into this kingdom manifestation within His body, there will be many apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers, but you won't even know who they are. There will be no identifiable positions in the kingdom . The flow of the family, the flow of the body, is going to be for the building up of the body of Christ, not the identifying of certain ministries. An apostolic ministry was sent . ...the ministry of an apostolic ministry is to build up, to minister to, to shepherd the flock. A prophet has a shepherd's heart. Evangelist, he works within the body, within the church, as an encouragement. The shepherd leads...

Pastor Brad Riser speaks out of Ephesians Ch 4 the unity of the Body of Christ and Five Fold ministry gifts..
Five-fold or ascension gift ministries are appointed by our Lord Jesus to equip the church to fulfill its calling and function.
We're discussing what I believe to be the most well-known and accepted yet least understood five-fold ministry, the pastor or shepherd. Why? Every five-fold ministry is an extension of who Jesus is, yet too many pastors/shepherds are disconnected from their flocks, mere hirelings, which is very un-Christ-like. There are numerous issues in the church that flow from there. I'm going to explain what pastoring/shepherding should look like in direct relation to Jesus. In this episode of the Fellowship of Kingdom Professionals podcast, Michael Blue continues to explore the significance of the five-fold ministry (apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers) and their role in perfecting and equipping the saints. He emphasizes that 'perfecting' in this context means spiritual maturity and development, not flawlessness. He further explains that each believer has been given a grace according to Christ's immeasurable gift, and this grace empowers individuals to serve in various capacities, both within and outside traditional ministry roles. Blue underscores that everyone has a unique purpose and potential to contribute to the kingdom, whether they are in law, medicine, education, or any other field. The ultimate goal is to glorify God, serve humanity, and find personal fulfillment.
