Doobie is the nickname, and the podcast title name is a play on the study of me. Different from my first few episodes when I first started (the first 1-14) the podcast is all about getting friends on and reviewing things that they enjoy. It causes for a n
Hello! This episode is a continuation of the Q&A series I have been doing. I ask questions on Doobieology social media, and you guys are able to put your responses for a chance to get them answered on the episodes! I very much look forward to doing this more. **APOLOGIES ABOUT THE POP FILTER THROUGHOUT THE EPISODE. I COULD NOT FIND IT TODAY, AND DECIDED TO RECORD WITHOUT IT. SIMPLE MISTAKE.** Otherwise, enjoy!
Hey everyone! I'm back after a long……break. I recently just graduated from high school, and have been working on my writing for my upcoming job, so I haven't had time to write for this. But I'm back! This episode is about the 2002 Oakland Athletics, and how Billy Beane and Paul DePodsta shaped their team into one of the best teams in the league, with a very low payroll. This episode is based off of the amazing book about Moneyball by Michael Lewis, and the movie featuring Brad Pitt. I'm glad to be back making episodes! Hopefully you guys are happy as well.
Hello! In this short review, I discuss The Boy In The Striped Pajamas. It was a novel released in 2006 by John Boyne, and I discuss the unrecognized troubles the novel brings to Holocaust Education.

Hey everyone! On the first edition of Doobieology shorts, I covered the infamous Colleen Hoover novel, It Ends With Us. I think….a lot about this novel, and they aren't good thoughts. This will be the first of many short reviews to keep content at a maximum while I produce episodes, but in the meantime, enjoy! Don't forget to rate and share the podcast as well! :)
Hello, and welcome back! On this returning episode, I discussed Fight Club! Fight Club was a novel released in 1996 by Chuck Palahniuk, and later adapted into the beloved 1999 film by David Fincher, starring Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, and Helena Bonham-Carter. It is misunderstood within the grand scheme of media, as it's messages are not taken seriously. It is satire right in our faces. What do I mean? Check out this episode!
Hello! In this episode, I discuss The Perks of Being a Wallflower! There are major themes in the book and film I talk about that most of us teenagers can relate to, and also I share why I think it's the most authentic high school story. I hope you enjoy this deeply personal episode!

THE 18TH AMENDMENT DEALT WITH PROHIBITION. THE 13TH AMENDMENT WAS SLAVERY. I AM NOT DUMB. Welcome back to Doobieology! In this episode, I talked about the themes of The Great Gatsby, and why it's such a significant piece of art to our society today. This is more of a novel review, rather than a typical novel and film comparison. Just ignore that slight error in the intro. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
Hey! This is just a bonus episode, where I talked about A Clockwork Orange! Written in 1962 by Anthony Burgess, it is considered one of the most influential short stories, and also an insane film by legendary director, Stanley Kubrick! I will have more on this episode at a later date, as this was recorded back in August for an intended episode with my friend Jack where we compared the film and novel. It will come out sometime later. For now, enjoy my intended section!
