No two families are the same...well okay, except maybe when it comes to COVID lock-downs. Family, whether they are our biological families, extended family, or family members that we choose in the form of our friends and support, are all trying to figure out a new dynamic and way of being. In this episode, Ashton is joined by his cousin Christina Salcido, MS, LPC, NCC to discuss the unique dynamics that families face when merging indoors together for several months. Ashton & Christina explore mental health in the time of this pandemic and one family’s approach to trying to make it work. Christina is a first generation college student who has obtained and earned a Secondary Teaching Certification and has earned a School Counselor Certification.
