Most people assume Medicare will cover long-term care — until they discover, often too late, that it won't.In this episode of The Agent of Wealth, co-host John Williams sits down with Raymond Levine, founder of Lavine LTC Benefits, to unpack one of the most misunderstood areas of financial planning: long-term care. From defining what long-term care actually means to exploring where care is delivered, how it's paid for, and why planning ahead creates more control and dignity, this conversation cuts through common misconceptions. In this episode, you will learn:Long-term care is about caregiving, not healthcare.Care doesn't only happen in nursing homes.Medicare coverage is limited and often misunderstood.Planning ahead creates options — waiting removes them.Long-term care planning is about dignity and quality of life. And more!Resources:Episode Transcript & Blog | www.lavineltcins.com | 275-609-0001 | Raymond Lavine on Facebook | Raymond Lavine on LinkedIn | Bautis Financial: 8 Hillside Ave, Suite LL1 Montclair, New Jersey 07042 (862) 205-5000 | Schedule an Introductory CallWant to be a guest on The Agent of Wealth? To kick off Caravan Of Garbage in 2026 we've decided to celebrate the release of Star Wars' 49th anniversary. We're talking the original movie as it was first shown in May of 1977 with none of the Special Edition tweaks or even the addition of the title A New Hope which was added four years later. We're looking at the miracle of the movie that started it all, George Lucas' vision brought to life with the music of John Williams, special effects by ILM and the relatively unknown trio of Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill. In Episode 30 of The Audio Files, Brad Zerbo and Jaytriot dedicate the entire show to a space-themed musical journey inspired by optimism, exploration, and innovation. The episode opens with discussion around the launch of Lt. Gen. Steven Kwast's Space Revolution and the symbolism behind its use of David Bowie's “Starman” as a theme of inspiration rather than invasion. From there, the hosts weave together music, cultural commentary, and speculative conversation about space, UFOs, and humanity's drive to explore the unknown. The playlist spans decades and genres, highlighting how space has influenced rock, punk, metal, classical composition, and pop culture, from Bowie and Black Sabbath to John Williams' Star Wars score and beyond. Along the way, Brad and Jaytriot reflect on technological stagnation versus innovation, cosmic curiosity, and how music often captures humanity's hopes about the future before science catches up. The result is a fun, free-flowing episode that blends music history, curiosity, and imagination into a true late-night Audio Files jam.

Even if you don't know Kris Bowers by name, you've almost certainly heard his work. He composed scores for “The Wild Robot,” “King Richard,” and other films, as well as for the TV series “Bridgerton.” (The new season premieres Jan. 29.) But on this episode of “Life in Seven Songs,” the focus is not the soundtrack. It's the private playlist — the songs that shaped Bowers before anyone put his name in the credits. Bowers' music education started early, with his parents' ambition. Neither had more than a high school education, and they wanted their son to have opportunities they did not. Their chosen avenue was the piano. Bowers began a rigorous training program when he was just 4 years old. He says his parents' idea was straightforward: He would get so good at piano that he would earn a scholarship to a great college, then become a lawyer. That plan held until Bowers discovered his own dream: composing for film. Here's Bowers' playlist: John Williams, “Theme from Jurassic Park” Earth, Wind & Fire, “Reasons” NSYNC, “God Must Have Spent a Little More Time on You” Oscar Peterson Trio, “Roundalay” Aretha Franklin, “Mary, Don't You Weep” Death Cab for Cutie, “Passenger Seat” The Cinematic Orchestra, “To Build a Home”
