How do you see yourself? When you look in the mirror do you see someone beautiful or something that needs to be fixed or look better. I share my emotional journey to being content and how I've dealt with body dysmorphia since I was a teenager. What is body dysmorphia you ask? It's a flawed and sometimes distorted image of how someone views themselves, especially when they look in the mirror. This topic is not discussed, but we'll get into it and have guests on the next episode to continue this discussion even further.

When we experience a loss, either from the death of a loved one, job, relationship, or something traumatic with our health, it's important for those of us that compartmentalize things to ask for help. We can still do our normal things, but it's important that if you are mourning to ask for help and prayer, because those closest to us can't see what's going on within us to know that we're actually screaming on the inside. Take your cape off, ask for help. It's ok.

Continuation of the definition of hard-heartedness and what was the root cause of it in my life. Due to the domestic violence that I witnessed as a child, it caused me to have a view of women that was wrong. This episode is dedicated to all the women who suffered domestic violence, including my mother, the most courageous and bravest woman I know.

What does it mean to be hard-hearted? It means being incapable of being moved to pity or tenderness. Literally, not showing love. We have to get to the heart of the matter when we are dealing with emotional healing. I share how my hard heartedness left me not receiving or giving love as a result of laws that I made for my self as a child. If you're a person that deals with hardness in your heart, ask God to open your heart to soften it, so you can begin the process to emotional wholeness and healing. Listen and share.
