Everything, Anything, and Nothing Really

Hey folks!  Time for some EAANR!  This week, Matt discusses his banana buying habits.  How green is too green?  Then, the guys discuss some funny signs they have seen around town.  Has the pandemic influence EVERY slogan writer in town?  After that, there is some old-timey news about a woman suing a man for kissing her, even though she INVITED him to have two or more!  Finally, the show ends on a bizarre "editorial" on the shopping habits of women - from 1892!  And our musical guest this week is Tuba Skinny with a song called Thriller Rag.  Enjoy!

Hey everyone!  It's episode 50 of Everything, Anything, and Nothing Really!  This week, Eric and Matt talk about some strange encounters at some karaoke bars.  Ever been to a karaoke night that "wasn't really" karaoke?  Matt and Eric have.  After that, the guys talk about some strange Facebook groups they have come across.  Do any of you think ninjas are better than vampires?  Do you think mermaids are real?  Is Walter Mondale your hero?  Then these groups might be for you!  The show caps off with the song Social Distance by The Grouper Cheeks.  It's a fun love song with a twist inspired by the coronavirus.  I know how that sounds, but trust me, it's awesome!  Enjoy!

Hey Listenerland!  It's time for Everything, Anything, and Nothing Really.  This week, we have special guest Scotty Pepperoni from the Cool Dads Club Podcast joining us to joke around and have some fun.  Did you know that scallions are actually onions?  Scotty fills us in.  After that, we talk about a possible 51st state, and talk about the original 14th state we never got - Frankland.  It was originally a part of what would eventually become Tennessee that North Carolina didn't want.  It would have been the perfect place for a Frank Sinatra Theme Park.  Finally, the guys talk about cities that have had name changes over the years.  Did you know there is a town called Truth or Consequences?  Orlando, Florida was almost named Orlando's Grave.  Not the best choice for a town filled with theme parks.  We cap the episode with a song by Ray Torres called So Simple.  Enjoy!

Hey Listenerland!  It's time for a new Everything, Anything, and Nothing Really!  This week, Matt and Eric read through a couple of Reddit threads.  One discusses the technicalities of a vampire being able to enter your home.  What if he had a search warrant?  What if he was the landlord?  What if he had a human evict you and then grabbed you?  Lots of scenarios to be explored.  The other thread seeks to help a young man convince his grandmother that Bill Gates did not create Covid 19, nor is he a descendant of Hitler.  After that, the guys tackle some alien sightings in the great state of Michigan.  Finally, the show closes out with a new musical segment promoting indie music.  This week, it's Steve Elstermann with his pandemic inspired "The Quarantine Man".  He wrote it, played all the instruments, sang lead vocals, AND learned how to play the ukulele for it.  It's a jam packed EAANR this week!  Enjoy!

Hey folks!  This week's episode of Everything, Anything, and Nothing Really takes a look at some strange relationships.  Matt and Eric read some silly articles about a bodybuilder who claims he is going to marry his sex robot and a stock broker in NY who claims he got his sex robot pregnant.  If that's not bizarre enough, they finish with a story about a man in India who marries an effigy so his father can die knowing all of his sons were married.  Enjoy this wacky episode of Everything, Anything, and Nothing Really!

Hey folks!  It's a flashback episode!  Once thought lost and forgotten, Episode 34 lives!  Recorded in August of 2016, Matt and Eric kick off the episode reading some letters from a veterinary advice column in a local Florida paper.  A man feels responsible for 6 baby turkeys after the mother is hit by a car - what to do?  And did you know gerbils can get married?  After that, the guys follow up with some more funny animal stories.  A rooster terrorizes a neighborhood - who will stop this menace?  And a bird in England gets the nickname "Mr. Chips" because he steals food right off of people's plates in an outdoor restaurant.  Tune in and enjoy some vintage Everything, Anything, and Nothing Really!

Hey folks!!!  This week on EAANR, Matt and Eric theorize on the context of some overheard conversations.  Some guy broke off his marriage and his buddy thought that was hilarious - why was that funny?  After that, they talk about an unscientific article checking on coronavirus mask usage in Michigan.  The article stresses that everything they did was COMPLETELY unscientific.  Then...why bother?  Finally, the guys look at two articles - one that details Elmer Fudd not using a gun in Looney Tunes cartoons anymore.  So what WILL he use to catch that wrascaly wrabbit?  The other is about a man in Belgium who has been receiving pizzas he didn't order for over a decade.  That mystery couldn't be solved...in a decade?  If only there were detectives in Belgium....  Enjoy!

Hey Listenerland!  Time for some fresh Everything, Anything, and Nothing Really!  This week, Eric reads a letter he wrote in 5th grade that went in a time capsule to be opened in 2037 where he details what he thinks the future will be like.  FYI, he wasn't even close.  After that, the guys discuss some old restaurants and why a pizza place thinks that moving into an old taco place is a good idea.  Finally, Matt and Eric read some weirdly specific online reviews for the intimate apparel shop Lover's Lane.  Enjoy!
