Welcome to another episode of The Cutting Room Floor, where we further unpack Sunday's message, discuss practical applications, and hear some of what didn't make the final cut.

What does it mean to live in light of the resurrection? In this 7-week series, Resurrection Living, we will explore the letters of 1, 2, and 3 John to answer the “now what?” question of Easter. Because Jesus is alive, everything changes: how we love, how we live, rooted in Him. These letters call us to a life marked by assurance, obedience, and deep, sacrificial love, empowered by Christ's victory. Join us as we discover what it looks like to live as people shaped by the resurrection every day.

The Gospel of John doesn't call Jesus' miracles “miracles” at all, but "signs" - and each one points beyond the moment to reveal who Jesus truly is and what it means to believe in Him. In this series, Signs and Wonders, we'll journey through the Gospel of John and explore the miraculous ministry of Jesus, not as spectacles to admire, but as invitations to trust, follow, and transformation.

This may be our final episode, but it's not the end! In this conversation, we explore what comes after the invitation: how meaningful follow-up can turn a moment into a relationship. We talk about asking better questions than “What did you think?”, listening well to others and to the Spirit, and keeping doors open for ongoing connection. Our hope is that this becomes more than a one-time initiative, but a way of growing in awareness of the people around you every day. If you participated at all, don't be surprised if we follow up—we'd love to hear your story and reflect with you on how it went.

As part of our Come & See initiative, this episode explores the step of hosting. How we can thoughtfully welcome and care for those we invite to church? And what about the bigger calling of Christian hospitality - reflecting the welcoming heart of Jesus and stewarding every person God brings our way, every Sunday.Books Referenced: "Becoming a Person of Welcome" by Laura Baghdassarian Murray

To be set apart in the way of Jesus is not just a belief, but a way of life. Over this 5-week series, we'll explore how the way of Jesus reshapes how we use power, care for our bodies, handle money, and cultivate gratitude. Each week you'll be invited into a rhythm of prayer, Scripture, and a practical response, helping us move from hearing to living the truth of God's Word.
