In this episode of Brothers Just Searching, the brothers continue their study through 1 John 3, exploring what it truly means to love as Christ loved us. Looking at 1 John 3:16-24, they discuss Christ's sacrificial love, serving fellow believers with humility, forgiving those who have wronged us, and putting our faith into action rather than just speaking about it. Along the way, they connect these verses with Jesus washing His disciples' feet, the teachings of James, and practical examples of showing compassion to others. As always, the conversation is filled with laughter, personal stories, and a desire to encourage believers to live out their faith in both truth and love.Don't forget to subscribe to the podcast and follow us on Facebook also leave us a review If You Like To donate to this podcast you can through cashapp or email us at brothersjustsearchingpodcast@gmail.com for more infoAnything is appreciated Cashapp infoBJSmediaThis podcast is brought to you by BJS MEDIA. Love is one of the greatest marks of a true follower of Jesus Christ. In this episode of Brothers Just Searching, we continue our verse-by-verse study through 1 John 3:11-15, where the Apostle John reminds believers that we are called to love one another—not live in hatred like Cain.We discuss:What it truly means to love your brothers and sisters in Christ. The story of Cain and Abel and how jealousy, pride, and hatred lead to destruction. Why church division and unresolved conflict damage our witness to the world. How Christians should handle disagreements according to Scripture. Why the world hates those who faithfully follow Jesus. The difference between salvation by faith in Christ and trusting in our own works. Our prayer is that this conversation encourages you to pursue unity, forgiveness, and genuine biblical love while keeping your eyes fixed on Jesus Christ.Scripture: 1 John 3:11-15If this episode encourages you, don't forget to Like, Subscribe, and Share so more people can hear the truth of God's Word.If You Like To donate to this podcast you can through cashapp or email us at brothersjustsearchingpodcast@gmail.com for more infoAnything is appreciated Cashapp infoBJSmediaThis podcast is brought to you by BJS MEDIA. The Root Question: Does God *actually* Love Me? 1 John 3:16-18
In this week's message, Pastor Sean teaches through First Epistle of John 3:11–24, reminding us that love is one of the clearest marks of a life transformed by Christ. The message challenges us to love not only with our words, but through generous and sacrificial action, recognizing that everything we have ultimately belongs to the Lord. Pastor Sean emphasizes that genuine faith is displayed in the way we care for others, using what God has entrusted to us to meet the needs of those around us. It's a powerful reminder that as we abide in Christ, His love should be evident in both our hearts and our hands.

The post 1 John 3:1-3 Help for Abiding in Christ appeared first on Grace Bible Church.
In John's Gospel, just after Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, the chief priests and Pharisees gathered to conspire against him. They wanted a way to get rid of him. Caiaphas, the high priest, unbeknownst to himself, accidentally says something prophetic: that Jesus would die for the nation. John then adds his own inspired commentary... but not only would Jesus die for the nation but also to gather into one the children of God who are scattered abroad. To gather into one the children of God...Jesus died to gather into one the children of God who are scattered abroad. Sin separates us from God and from people. In our separation, we attempt to create counterfeit community based on superficial connections. In 1 John 3:11-24, John makes clear that the children of God are connected on a much deeper level; our spiritual union with God makes us one family. So, who are the children of God? How do people know we are his disciples? Love is the mark of a true believer, love that is rooted in truth and that is oriented toward action by the power of the Holy Spirit. ------------------------------------------- Connect with us on Social MediaWebsite | Instagram | Threads | Facebook | Vimeo------------------------------------------- Download our AppApple App Store | Google Play Store

Pastor Micah Klutinoty preaches from 1 John 3:4-24 that true children of God bear good fruit as they actively abide in Christ. As we remain in Him, He produces confidence in our standing with God, grateful worship, growing purity, a pattern of righteousness instead of sin, genuine love for others, and clear evidence of the Holy Spirit's work in our lives.

In this episode of Brothers Just Searching, we continue our verse-by-verse study through 1 John as we examine 1 John 3:1-2 and the incredible love that the Father has bestowed upon His children. The brothers discuss what it means to be called sons of God, the difference between God's love and the world's understanding of love, and the eternal hope believers have through Jesus Christ.Along the way, we share personal stories, discuss the importance of living for eternity rather than temporary possessions, and explore the promise that one day believers will be transformed and made like Christ when He appears. This conversation serves as a reminder that our true identity is found in Him and that our greatest hope is not in this world, but in the life to come.Join us as we search the Scriptures together and grow deeper in our understanding of God's Word.Scripture: 1 John 3:1-2Don't forget to subscribe to the podcast and follow us on Facebook also leave us a review If You Like To donate to this podcast you can through cashapp or email us at brothersjustsearchingpodcast@gmail.com for more infoAnything is appreciated Cashapp infoBJSmediaThis podcast is brought to you by BJS MEDIA.
