Two big returns, a proposal, and FINALLY, a mostly happy episode. 

This week, two romantic relationships fizzle as one friendship becomes something more and one possibly begins. A star is born in Derek's (ex?)wife, George gets a hero moment, and Cristina adds something to the American lexicon that persists to this day. Iconic behavior. 

We declare this our favorite episode of the season without hesitation. Andrew is back in an unexpected but very fun way, Meredith appears consciously in the hospital, Amelia gets Owen in line, and Teddy finally unpacks what's been driving her to make such bad choices.

This episode really lives up to its title, because everyone is going through it this week. Amelia and Link have a fight, Teddy hits a breaking point, Bailey needs someone to blame, and Richard questions his faith. Meanwhile, Cormac visits the beach, but it's not enough to wake Meredith. 

All that matters about this episode is that the cliffhanger will blow your mind. 

In this episode, there's a psychic in the hospital, Meredith thinks Derek is keeping a secret, and Cristina's patient case hits a little too close to home.

In this episode, there seems to be very little that can't go wrong. Jo struggles with Val's case. Teddy gets the cold shoulder from both Owen and Tom again. Maggie and Amelia have to have a tough conversation with Zola. And the life of a hospital staff member hangs in the balance.

In this episode, everyone and their cousin find out about Meredith and Derek, which sends George into a spiral that costs him a surgery, but also makes him do the right thing. Cristina gets a big surprise, and Izzie and Mer bond.

Bailey faces a family crisis, Tom is brought into the hospital in critical condition, and Jo begins to question her future. 

It's the mid-season finale! Meredith is on the mend! ... Or is she? Bailey is reeling from a huge loss. Teddy makes a confession. Andrew runs into a familiar, but unfriendly face. Maggie hits a breaking point. We might be starting to like Owen. A lot is happening!
