We've made it to the end my listeners, in this re-review of No Time to Die, the final installment in the Craig era and EON productions era. Hard to believe it's been about 2 years since I started the marathon starting with Dr. No. Thanks for listening and going on this journey with me. It's been an insightful one. Send us a textIn this episode of Marketing Espresso, I tackle one of the most common frustrations I hear from business owners: “I don't have time to market!” Whether you're juggling client work, running a team, or just trying to survive the daily grind, marketing often gets pushed to the bottom of the list. But here's the thing - if you're not intentionally marketing your business, you're leaving growth (and money) on the table.I break down how to carve out time in your week, how to avoid the dreaded two-hard basket, and why treating your own business like a client is the real secret to consistent growth. Plus, I share my honest thoughts on skill gaps, con artists in the marketing world, and why marketing should be taken just as seriously as your accounting and legal. If you've ever said “I don't have the time or the skills to market my business,” this one's for you.In This Episode, I Cover:Why “no time” isn't a valid excuse - and what to do insteadHow procrastination often masks fear and lack of directionWhat it means to work on your business, not just in itThe ‘Do It, Dump It, Delegate It' framework for marketing tasksHow to prioritise marketing without burning outWhy strategy must come before tactics (and not from an influencer)Creating sustainable marketing habits - even if you don't love the processSubscribe & Review If you loved this episode, share it with someone who needs to hear it. A lot of men we work with CLAIM that they have no time to talk to women during their day since they are too consumed with their careers. While there can be a veneer of truth to this, the reality in many cases is that they are making excuses. Why? Because they're scared. This is not a podcast about pickup. It's about presence.Seduction.Style.Power.And the mythic art of staying dangerous in a world that wants you tame.If you're done with fluff and ready to hear something real — you're in the right place.

Feel like project-based learning sounds powerful—but totally unrealistic in your packed curriculum and schedule? What if one small shift could open the door? In this episode, I talk with international educator, VIS Dean of Academic Affairs and social scientist Tristan Reynolds, who shares how he replaced a single unit test with a project—and saw student ownership, engagement, and reflection skyrocket. From rural Texas classrooms to interdisciplinary teaching in Taipei, Tristan walks us through the simple mindset and planning shifts that helped PBL work within, not outside of, school structures. It's a refreshing look at how real change happens—not through an overhaul, but through intentional, evidence-based experimentation. You'll learn: How one teacher redesigned a single assessment and sparked student agency What student data revealed about deeper learning and engagement How interdisciplinary collaboration builds momentum for school-wide change Why project-based learning can fit within your constraints—not fight against them Ready to see how one small step can unlock student-centered learning in your setting? This episode shows you the shift in action. Connect with Tristan: Instagram, LinkedIn Data Studies Around Benefits of PBL on Learning: Wide Scale Studies Tristan's Bio: Tristan Reynolds is an educator and writer who focuses on international best practices in education and the impacts of globalization on education. As an experienced international educator, he understand the importance of creating schools which support celebrating different cultures, and which cultivate a cosmopolitan attitude in students. Tristan's work helps build a clearer picture of how to help students and teachers move beyond local limits to education. He holds an M.S.Ed. from Johns Hopkins University, American and British teaching & administration licensures, and is a 2021 Teach For America alum.

Gardening doesn't have to be complicated. It can be manageable and small and still make a big difference for your family.Nicky Schauder and her husband, Dave, are on a mission to help families grow their food.Their garden journey began when their kids were diagnosed with “failure to thrive” due to multiple food allergies. Because of these health issues, they felt called to grow organic at home... and since they have supplied 25% of their fruits and veggies from their tiny townhouse backyard. From their permaculture gardens to speaking at Green Festivals to their most recent project: a permaculture garden designer app (which successfully launched on Kickstarter last year!) to growing their family of 8, they are doing some pretty amazing and beautiful work in the world. Myron McCormick took home a Tony for his performance as gruff but lovable sailor Luther Billis in the original Broadway production of South Pacific, and before his premature passing at the age of 54 he logged several memorable turns on the stage and screen. We'll hear him as an archeologist who may have found a lost treasure in “Door of Gold” (originally aired on CBS on February 10, 1957) and as a mental patient who escapes from the hospital with revenge on his mind in “Madman of Manhattan” (originally aired on CBS on March 8, 1959). Plus, he plays detective in “No Time for Murder” from Crime Club (originally aired on Mutual on September 25, 1947).
From childhood memories of travelling the remote Kimberley landscapes of the 1960's, to arriving in a skirt and heels onto a remote WA airstrip in Kalgoorlie as a freshly minted RFDS Doctor, Dr Elizabeth Green's new memoir is an engaging, time-travelling treat. While Elizabeth was only 'officially' with the RFDS for two and a half years in the last 1980's, her love of medicine and the bush, along with a lifelong romance with her Flying Doc husband, Dr Stephen Langford, has gifted her with a swag full of incredible and often outrageous outback yarns. After working for 35 years with the RFDS Western Ops, as well as in Port Hedland, Stephen also wrote the iconic 2015 book, The Leading Edge: Innovation, technology and people in Australia's Royal Flying Doctor Service. Just like the shadow of the RFDS plane's she would often watch from the window of her many RFDS clinic and retrieval flights, Elizabeth believes the stories and communities of the RFDS have followed her throughout her life.***Thanks so much for listening to this episode of the Flying Doctor Podcast. In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, Everyday Better is spotlighting some of the most common, yet least understood, mental health challenges. This week, ABC News' Chief National Correspondent Matt Gutman joins Leah to share his personal journey with anxiety and panic attacks – struggles he hid for nearly two decades, even while reporting live on national television. I am so excited to say that my guest on the GWA Podcast is one of the most exciting painters working in the world today, Michaela Yearwood-Dan. Hailed for her works that bloom, dance, and come alive when you are witness to them, with an abundance of textures, weathers, colours, mark-makings, and more, Yearwood-Dan intertwines the botanical with abstraction, and brings painting back to its natural-like essence. Never restricting herself to just one medium, Yearwood-Dan works across ceramics, sound, installation, performance, and all-encompassing paintings that can range from small to the colossal, with some measuring up to 8-metres-wide. See them in the flesh and it's like seeing an entire ecosystem unfold, embedded with hidden languages, whether it be the symbolism she uses or the small elements of text, poetry and song lyrics, that add another dimension to her rich, embellished worlds. Raised in London as the youngest of three girls, by parents and grandparents that taught her about craft, weaving, seamstressing, Yearwood-Dan completed her studies at Brighton from 2013–2016, where she graduated top of her class, before going onto experiment with an artistic language that has constantly been growing and reinventing, and pushing paint to its limits. While early work – at the time I met her in around 2019, when she invited me for a studio visit when we were both in our mid 20s – explored more interior images intertwined with house plants, it has been incredible to watch her work mould into spaces of abundance, possibility and exhilaration. And indeed, her work has been described by the renowned writer and curator Ekow Eshun as having “a sense of boundless possibility”, which feels apt for a time like today, when it feels more than ever for art to be our guide to expanding our imagination, and also joy in times of despair. This is exactly the topic of Yearwood-Dan's new exhibition, opening at Hauser & Wirth in London on 13 May, titled No Time for Despair, referencing a line from Toni Morrison's 2004 article for The Nation, which states, “in times of dread, artists must never choose to remain silent.” – and I can't wait to find out more… Exhibition page: https://www.hauserwirth.com/hauser-wirth-exhibitions/michaela-yearwood-dan-no-time-for-despair/ -- THIS EPISODE IS GENEROUSLY SUPPORTED BY THE LEVETT COLLECTION: https://www.famm.com/en/ https://www.instagram.com/famm_mougins // https://www.merrellpublishers.com/9781858947037 Follow us: Katy Hessel: @thegreatwomenartists / @katy.hessel Sound editing by Nada Smiljanic Music by Ben Wetherfield
