In 2003 Victor started focusing on kids music that didn’t drive parents crazy. He soon became a leading kids artist in the U.S. with a growing international reputation for making great kids music.   His music has appeared on national television, NPR, Nick Jr and Parenting magazines as well as commercials in the U.S. and Europe. He’s received several awards including 3 Parents’ Choice Silver Awards. Victor appears on several music compilations including 4 Putumayo Kids’ releases alongside artists Leon Redbone, Dan Zanes, Elizabeth Mitchell, Eric Bibb, Seamus Eagan, Keola Beamer, Riders in the Sky and Jake Shimabukuro.   Victor was featured as an example of "lifestyle design" in the WSJ best-selling book The Four Hour Workweek by Tim Ferris and a proofreader for Derek Sivers bestselling business book Anything You Want. Victor enjoys helping people plot a course to being able to live more freely, creatively and authentically.

Kiley worked construction heading into the recession of 2008.  Naturally work didn't last long.   Lynette created a property management company and luckily was good at it.   She asked her husband if he could do anything, what would he do.   He replied, 'Shape boards'.     So they started World On Water boards that builds custom surf and SUP boards where art and style are as much a part of their soul as the experience of the ride.     In this podcast we talk about business, relationships, R & D, a twist on continuing education, man caves and of course, living the Good Life in Central Oregon.

For me his art conjures up images of MC Escher, Japanese Block Art, Go Pro, and a quirky, yet fun sense of humor like Where’s Waldo.  It also gives a sense of serious whimsy due to its sophisticated delivery of boyhood dreams.    Adam Haynes is an artist raised in the quiet community of Camp Sherman.   He has gone on to do work for Nike, Adidas, Patagonia, ESPN, Specialized, Deschutes Brewery, and many more.  Between the diapers, paint and snowboarding, he has learned a thing or two about living the Good Life.

Jayson is a world-class paddler with first descents in Oregon, California and Colorado and has represented the US at World Championship competitions in Freestyle Kayaking, Open Canoe, and Surf Kayak.  He also became a Luthier with Breedlove guitars and now owns Bowerman Guitars, a company of one where he builds guitars, mandolins and lap steels for some of the worlds most notable musicians.  He also gives his time and talents helping teach guitar building to the Americana Project in Sisters High School as well as being a Board member of the Bend Paddle Trail Alliance.

Dr. Blair Struble grew up in Bend playing volleyball at Mt View before playing volleyball and earning her undergrad at Willamette University.  She then went to OHSU for dental school followed by her orthodontic residency at UW.   Upon returning to Central Oregon, she has become one of the preeminent orthodontists in Bend.  Meanwhile she also coaches volleyball and raises two children with her husband.  She is a pursuer the Good life and she can certainly put a great smile on your face.

Troy and Kim Meeder are husband and wife team who are authors, speakers and founders of the non-profit Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch that has rescued hundreds of horses and families from trauma and abuse.   They have experience with some of the most horrific stories one could imagine, yet they continue to work “in the trenches” to provide hope and the Good Life to those who need it the most. Troy wrote the book “Average Joe” and Kim wrote the books: “Hope Rising”, Bridge Called Hope”, “Blind Hope” and “Fierce Beauty”.

Rose is a notable chef in Bend having trained under top pastry chefs as well as in Europe.  She worked at Broken Top as pastry chef and culinary queen for many Bend publications after moving to Central Oregon. She then started her own lunch catering service called 12:00 O’clock Tart.  She is a world traveler, a teacher, a board member for Family Access Network, an entrepreneur as well as being a wife and a mom.   But her story began very, very differently.
