Comparisons are made to historical incidents such as the Steele Dossier, the Russia investigation, and alleged misuse of federal agencies. 2. Ready to rethink everything you thought you knew about networking? In this revealing preview from Travis Makes Friends, Travis Chappell sits down with behavioral scientist and author Jon Levy to unpack why traditional networking feels gross—and what actually works instead. Jon breaks down the four psychological triggers that open doors with high-level performers: novelty, access to other influential people, generosity without hidden agendas, and the rare emotional state of awe. He explains why powerful leaders don't need another coffee meeting, how the brain's novelty center drives curiosity and memory, and why most influential people spend far more time with assistants and staff than at glamorous events—unless something truly different pulls them out. You'll hear the origin story behind Jon's now-legendary “secret dinner” series: 12 strangers cooking a terrible meal together—without sharing what they do—only to discover they're sitting next to Olympians, Nobel laureates, Emmy winners, and even Isiah Thomas. What started as a broke experiment funded with credit cards and cheap vodka turned into a global phenomenon, landing Jon on the cover of The New York Times and transforming his career into designing high-impact experiences for major brands. Travis and Jon also dig into why networking events fail, the psychological reason people feel “dirty” when they network, and why making friends—not collecting business cards—is the real path to opportunity. They explore the mechanics of connection, from shared common ground (what Jon calls “multiplexing relationships”) to proximity, intensity, frequency, and duration—the real forces that determine whether two people bond. If you've ever wondered how to meet influential people without feeling transactional, how to stand out without status or money, or how to create environments where awe and genuine connection happen naturally, this preview gives you a front-row seat to the science—and strategy—behind building relationships that actually matter. Hit play to learn why the best networkers don't network at all—and how you can start creating rooms that change your life.Watch the Full Episode here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RUrACCORfA Learn more about your ad choices. Jeff Galloway passed away on February 25, 2026 at age 80. He was a 1972 U.S. Olympian and the creator of the Run Walk Run method, the simple idea that made running feel possible for millions of people, from first time 5K runners to marathoners and ultrarunners. This episode starts with a short monologue about what Jeff's legacy means, and why inspiration is not always about being the fastest. Sometimes it is about making the sport accessible, lowering the fear, and giving people a repeatable way to show up. I also share a line that has stuck with me, “fill your dash,” the idea that everything we do lives in that small space between the year we are born and the year we die. Before the replay, I read a piece Jeff sent me, “A Philosophy of Running,” where he writes about meaning, community, and why endurance can change a life. Then I roll straight into our full conversation from Month of Jeff. We talk about the post-goal low after the Olympics, building a life around helping others run, the origins of Run Walk Run, and how Jeff kept refining his method through decades of coaching and data.Rest in peace, Mr. Galloway. Thanks for teaching the world that running can belong to everyone.Support our Sponsors: Sawyer: https://sawyerdirect.net/Janji (code: Freeoutside): https://snp.link/a0bfb726CS Coffee: CSinstant.coffeeGarage Grown Gear: https://snp.link/db1ba8abSubscribe to Substack: http://freeoutside.substack.comSupport this content on patreon: HTTP://patreon.com/freeoutsideBuy my book "Free Outside" on Amazon: https://amzn.to/39LpoSFEmail me to buy a signed copy of my book, "Free Outside" at jeff@freeoutside.comWatch the movie about setting the record on the Colorado Trail: https://tubitv.com/movies/100019916/free-outsideWebsite: www.Freeoutside.comInstagram: thefreeoutsidefacebook: www.facebook.com/freeoutside#Trailrunning #Runningnews #Outdoors #Outdooradventure

The Barbell Mamas Podcast | Pregnancy, Postpartum, Pelvic Health
Gold medals and car seats can share the same backseat. We reflect on a Winter Games filled with mothers who didn't just compete—they redefined what pregnancy and postpartum training can look like at the highest level. From Alana Myers-Taylor and Kaillie Humphries medaling in their 40s to athletes navigating IVF and still delivering peak performances, we explore how these stories shift public perception, shape clinical guidance, and give active moms permission to chase strength without apology. We walk through why elite examples matter for everyday training—not because you should copy their programs, but because their visibility attracts research and funding that replace rigid rules with nuanced, evidence-informed care. You'll hear how tools like the FIFA postpartum decision aid move us beyond arbitrary timelines and into personalized return-to-sport plans anchored in body readiness, symptom response, and context. We unpack relative intensity, show how a 20-hour week can responsibly scale to 15 for an Olympian, and translate that thinking to the recreational lifter who just wants to squat, run, and feel like herself again. We also get tactical: clear screening questions to bring to your provider, practical ways to progress without flaring symptoms, and a simple bracing cue—“hug your baby”—that connects breath, core, and confidence. Along the way, we honor the village behind these athletes and every parent balancing loading pins and lunchboxes. If you're an active mom or coach seeking a roadmap that respects healing and ambition, this conversation brings clarity, encouragement, and tools you can use today. If this resonated, follow the show, share it with a friend who lifts, and leave a quick review to help more moms find confident, evidence-based training.___________________________________________________________________________Don't miss out on any of the TEA coming out of the Barbell Mamas by subscribing to our newsletter You can also follow us on Instagram and YouTube for all the up-to-date information you need about pelvic health and female athletes. In this special episode of Convos from the Couch, we chat with Olympic diver and author Cassidy Krug to explore what really happens after life's biggest moments. Joined by former fellow diver and Senior Growth Marketing Manager McKenze Rogers, Cassidy opens up about her journey from elite athlete to writer, parent, and someone continually learning to navigate change. Together, they talk about the emotional realities of transition — the uncertainty and the “murk” that often follows major milestones. Cassidy shares insights from her book Resurface, including what she discovered while interviewing dozens of people about the turning points in their own lives. From Olympians and cancer survivors to those redefining themselves after career shifts, she explains how shared themes emerge across very different experiences. Listeners will hear practical ways to move through change with compassion, from embracing vulnerability to giving yourself permission to grieve what you've left behind. Cassidy also offers approachable tools — like novelty weeks, reframing failure, and seeking connection through informational conversations — that can help anyone feel less alone in their next chapter. If you came here for peace and quiet, you are aggressively lost. This daily comedy show kicks off with the most controversial debate of 2025: nuts in banana bread. That's right. We're solving the real problems. Surprise walnuts? Absolutely not. Chocolate chips? Proceed with caution. We break down the emotional trauma of biting into something you didn't consent to (looking at you, sneaky bakery walnuts). From there, we spiral — as any respectable daily comedy show would — into International Dog Biscuit Appreciation Day, Curling Is Cool Day, and the logistics of putting together a Rizz Show curling squad. Are we athletes? No. Will we talk trash like Olympians? Absolutely. There's also a strong push for broom ball, roof ball, and whatever other sport allows us to compete without full cardio commitment. Then things get… spicy. In Sex Time Fun Facts, we dive into a Reddit dilemma that has the room divided: A former nanny (now married) once had a “hilarious” kiss-turned-hookup with the kid she used to babysit… years later… as adults… and now she's invited to his wedding. Does she tell her husband? Is it lying by omission? Is it none of his business? The crew debates loyalty, timing, and whether “it would be hilarious if we kissed” is the boldest pickup line of all time.Meanwhile, Rafe prepares to sail toward what may or may not be “Cartel City,” Riz gets birthday love from the curling association, and we celebrate the retirement of Mr. Clean — a true bald icon stepping away after 68 years of spotless service. Fire Island retirement rumors? You decide. There's lawn rage over fiber optic crews tearing up yards, actual fistfights between contractors (blue collar conflict resolution at its finest), and a passionate breakdown of the HBO show Neighbors, where apparently no one is redeemable and everyone needs therapy. It's chaos. It's sarcasm. It's suburban panic mixed with banana bread betrayal. Happy National Curling is Cool Day! We celebrate the holiday with a special in person episode from Mike's basement, kicking things off with a major update on the Craig Conover 10K challenge: the race has been officially moved to April 7th to allow for more training (and fundraising). Erin gives a fitness update involving a "hit run" and her struggle to do pull ups while wearing heavy snow boots. We then dive into a massive Olympic recap, discussing the heartbreak of "Quad God" Ilia Malinin and the wild curling cheating scandal involving Canada, Sweden, and a "hidden" camera. We analyze the absurdity of "Doubles Luge" (and propose a "Triple Stack" version), demand the immediate return of Ski Ballet, and review the fascinating day jobs of Olympians -- -- from a maple syrup shop worker to a snowboarder who is a concrete pourer. We also shout out the 50 year old personal injury attorney who subbed in for the curling team.In other sports news, we break down the beef between Logan Paul and Tom Brady, discuss the record breaking $31 million NASCAR purse, and marvel at the man who ran the Austin Marathon wearing full denim jeans and a belt. We also explain the UK phenomenon of the "Binfluencer"—the neighbor who signals which trash bin to put out—and wrap up with a heartwarming "No Bad News" story about United Airlines employees donating 15,000 Pokémon cards to a little boy who lost his binder.Craig and Erin's 10k Race Fundraiser - https://www.gofundme.com/f/craig-and-erins-10k-race-fundraiser?utm_source=ig&utm_medium=social&utm_content=link_in_bio&fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQMMjU2MjgxMDQwNTU4AAGnvmYINh2KO3pxYerfMCtfbyvENMTBh35VD6EZyc3T8_e4EC9q21IXRZu_8LE_aem_7_Ht5StceFuJPpwZdI0Jzw

Mike Evans and Brandon Stokley with Mark Schlereth open the second hour ranting about the beanie babies that the Olympians all got as they recap a US victory in the Gold Medal Game. Mike gets the players’ take on how the Nuggets need to approach their end-of-game problems, is this on David Adelman to fix or the players? They speculate how much clarity we’ll get into the play calling situation between Sean Payton and Davis Webb as they get Stink’s insight into new passing game coordinator Johnny Morton’s time in Detroit. The Morning Crew wrap up the second hour in 4 Down Territory where they cover the Bears possibly moving to Indiana, the tush push being preserved, and onside kick alternatives.

Send a textIn this Love and Marriage episode, the conversation shifts from highlights to the day-to-day realities that actually make a relationship work—especially when you're partnered with a competitor. Kerryne and Torrey Henich unpack how ambition, discipline, and high standards can either strengthen a marriage or create friction if you're not aligned on expectations. They get practical about food and lifestyle: navigating restaurants while dieting, the social dynamics of “Tupperware culture,” and how small moments can turn into big conflict when communication is off. The episode also explores identity and values—touching on faith (including an LDS lens) and how roles and the broader world are evolving, particularly around empowering women. From there, it turns into a real-life operating system for couples: managing finances and taxes, staying connected through shared “stats” and accountability, and leading a blended family through different parenting challenges. They break down the three phases of parenting, what consistency actually means in partnership, and why “feeling good together” isn't luck—it's a decision reinforced by habits, respect, and showing up even when life gets heavy.Kerryne Henich is an accomplished IFBB Bikini Professional, Olympian, and dedicated Fitbody Fusion Coach. Her competition journey began in 2008 in the Figure division, but after transitioning to Bikini in 2011, she earned her pro card at the 2015 NPC Jr National Championships and qualified for the Olympia in 2018. In 2023, Kerryne competed in the inaugural Masters Olympia in Romania, placing 4th, and is thrilled to be invited back for the 2025 Masters Olympia in Japan. As a wife, mom, bonus mom, and dog mom, Kerryne balances family life with her passion for coaching, inspiring athletes to reach their fullest potential through Fitbody Fusion. Her journey is a testament to perseverance, dedication, and the power of chasing your dreams—both on and off the stage.
In this hour, Adam Crowley and Dorin Dickerson discuss how possible it may be for the Steelers to acquire WR Jaylen Waddle from the Miami Dolphins this offseason. Also, did you know that Olympians receive these weird prizes during competition? February 23, 2026, 8:00 Hour
