If you think that sounds creepy, throw in a backstory about a mysterious street urchin nicknamed "diablo", and this just got even more bizarre (1980s).
Scoff and Wonk talk about the heartwarming case of the David Godseys, a father and son reunited after a 26 year separation. When Karen Trent phoned an operator in the hope of locating two distant family friends, she never expected to, by sheer fate or happy coincidence, call the numbers of two strangers who just happened to be each other's long-lost relative (1999).
