Really Simple Syndication is a great way to feed your content onto third party platforms to drive traffic to your website, but it can also be used by others to steal your content and rob you of precious traffic.
The fact is there is pay inequity in the blogging world where brands, the PR and Marketing companies that represent them generally, pay black and brown bloggers much less money compared to a White blogger with similar traffic or reach. It's akin to the advertising in radio industry which had an unspoken rule called "no urban dictate" indicating to ad buyers to NOT place their product in urban radio because they do not either 1)want their brands to be associated with urban culture; or 2) don't think the black audience has buying power and/or can afford their product; or 3) they do not think their target market can relate to a black blogger or influencer; or 4) they do not want a black or brown person representing their brand.
The FCC and the federal government in the US regulates monopolies like broadcast TV and Radio, Telecom transmission and Cable but not new media. There are thousands if not millions of people and companies that each own their own property or mini empire. But a lot of those little guys are still dependent on BIG INTERNET (Google, Facebook and Instagram, and Twitter for their respective biz models to grow). And Big Tech has its way of suppressing competition too. I discuss.
