After losing her husband Kevin who was killed in a car and bicycle style hit and run turning her life upside down, she has formed a community of widows, widowers, and people grieving all types of losses of loved ones with her now year old instagram page @ImSorryWereFriends. Lauren is a remarkable person, and one of the types of stories I was going for as far as sharing when I set out to start the show. She is authentic, raw and vulnerable, while sharing her story and helping others, she is also dealing with her own grief. We talk about normalizing grief, and many other topics!
