Jaylene Clark Owens is an AUDELCO and Barrymore Award winning actress. She is a member of The Wilma Theater's resident acting company, HotHouse. Jaylene is also a highly acclaimed spoken word poet. She is the Executive Director of Harlem KW Project, LLC, which is the company she started with three other women to write the play, Renaissance in the Belly of a Killer Whale. Jaylene's debut book of poetry, "AfroPoetic", is now available on Amazon! It tells her experience living in the United States as a Black Woman.
