We are days away from New Horizons live at the sold out Thornbury Theatre this Saturday, and we are in to the final four participants of the MCW Ascension Tournament. Jake Andrewartha will face off against Zhan Wen in the first semi final, while Edward Dusk will face Emman The Kid in the second semi final with a guaranteed title opportunity for the winner to face Mick Moretti for his Intercommonwealth Championship. While all four are fierce competitors, Edward Dusk has claimed he is the driving force behind the entire tournament and genuinely believes its his destiny to win it all and take the gold from Moretti - and he's promised to unleash hell against Emman The Kid in the second semi final on his way to achieving this. Ahead of New Horizons we look at how all four finalists arrived at this stage of the tournament, and we chat to Edward Dusk to see how seriously his threats to Emman The Kid are in his quest to take the gold from Mick Morretti.

Davis Storm has had a career that spans more than two decades, and recently celebrated his 300th match in his home promotion of EPW in Perth - a milestone that's yet to be matched. But despite being based in Western Australia, the man they call "The Godfather" is no stranger to Melbourne City Wrestling clashing with mainstays like Slex and KrackerJak - most recently going toe to toe with Adam Brooks for the MCW World Championship but coming up short. After declaring his intention to take part in the Ballroom Brawl - we caught up with Storm who made his intentions clear that he's not going to let another opportunity at the MCW title slip through his fingers.

We venture West in the latest edition of MCW Wired and catch up with Damian Slater. Despite having a career that spans close to two decades, the World Beater doesn't look like slowing down any time soon and in addition to still being an active in ring competitor to this day - he's also passing on his knowledge to the next generation of rising stars as a trainer as well.He joined us to talk about his approach to coaching, the current crop of talent that he's got his eye on, and his involvement in one of the most influential stables in Australian wrestling TMDK.

For the first time since MCW New Horizons 2021 Robbie Eagles made his return to Melbourne City Wrestling, challenging Royce Chambers for his Intercommonwealth Championship at the first Fusion of 2022.But in his absence from MCW 'The Sniper Of The Skies' has been quite busy - becoming a double champion in New Japan Pro Wrestling becoming one half of the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Champions with Tiger Mask, and winning the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship as well.

Jessica Troy makes her return to MCW Wired and this time round she brings her newly won MCW Women's Championship. We speak to her ahead of her first title defence against Lily Blaze at Fight To Survive this weekend, and find out what's next for 'The Arm Collector' - plus we preview what to expect at the Thornbury Theatre this Saturday for the first MCW show of 2022!

This Sunday the best of Melbourne City Wrestling goes head to head with the best of PWA at World's Collide at the Thornbury Theatre. This 'Best of Five' series is headlined by a champion vs champion match between MCW World Champion Adam Brooks, against the PWA Heavyweight Champion Ricky South.We caught up with Ricky South ahead of this weekend to find out a bit more about the man that'll be flying the flag for Sydney in this interpromotional clash of champions!

The last time we spoke to Adam Brooks on Wired it landed him in a three stages of hell match at 'MCW Homecoming' where he successfully retained the MCW World Championship against Slex and officially continued his self proclaimed "loose legacy"Despite his laid back attitude, in 2021 Brooksy has proven himself to be a fighting champion defending his title against the likes of veterans like Danny Psycho, international stars like Robbie Eagles, and even jurassic juggernauts like Caveman Ugg. We spoke to him once again for his thoughts of the "loose legacy" so far.

A lot has changed since we last spoke to Mitch Waterman. At the start of the year at MCW Homecoming he was celebrating the Brat Pack retaining their Tag Team Championships against the Natural Classics and solidifying them as one of the best tag teams in Australia. Fast forward today and the Brat Pack is no more, and Mitch has to navigate solo - but he does have a guaranteed title shot at the MCW World Championship after winning the Ballroom Brawl.

A lot has changed since The Parea last stepped into the ring at Melbourne City Wrestling. The last time we saw Eli Theseus and Gabriel Aeros at the Thornbury Theatre they were two youthful lads just looking to have fun with the fans - not anymore! In possibly the most hostile episode of MCW Wired we sat down with the two of them before Winter Warfare for a chat, and forget everything you thought you knew about the Parea because they are here to hurt people... not have fun!

What better way to kick off a brand new season of Wired than with one of our home grown favourites from the MCW Academy Tony Villani. At 'Winter Warfare' we saw Tony pick up his first win in Melbourne City Wrestling and we sat down and spoke to him about the victory and the journey he took to go from being a fan to a professional wrestler.

We welcome our first international guest to MCW Wired with WWE Hall Of Famer and the founder of TNA Wrestling Jeff Jarrett joining us on this week's episode. Double J will be stepping into the podcast arena himself with the debut of 'My World' dropping every Wednesday in your podcast feeds.We spoke to the former WCW and NWA World Heavyweight Champion and got his thoughts on some of the talent we've got coming up the ranks in Australia, and Jarrett even had a word of warning for Lochy Hendricks if he continues abusing his powers of his Australian Wrestling Legends Contract!

Whenever the next generation of Melbourne City Wrestling is brought up, Jett Rouka and Tyson Baxter's names are normally mentioned in the same sentence. Before MCW Fallout we were able to sit down with the two high flyers and chat about their brief time in MCW and the impact they've made so far, their roles at the MCW Academy, and living up to the hype.We were also able to catch up with Jett Rouka for an update on his neck injury and get a timeline on when we might see him back in the squared circle.

After making her debut at MCW Homecoming 'The Influential' Skylar Cruize caused a stir by challenging for the MCW Women's Championship. A month later she introduced the MCW landscape to 'Absolute Excellence' Anth Cava. While these two might have only recently stepped foot in the ring in the Thornbury Theatrer - they've both spent countless hours at the MCW Academy honing their craft to put the entire roster of Melbourne City Wrestling on notice.

After almost a decade away from Melbourne City Wrestling, Rocky Menero returned to the Thornbury Theatre at Ballroom Brawl and immediately made an impact. A veteran of the Australian wrestling scene, Rocky is back in MCW and he's here to make the next generation of wrestlers force him out of the limelight and has made it his personal responsibility to take wrestling to the heights that it once was.

We don't need to hype up the credentials of why The Velocities are one of the best tag teams in Australia and we sat down with them before their dream match against The Brat Pack at Ballroom Brawl. From their beginnings as a tag team to travelling the country and then representing Australia across the globe, Jude London and Paris De Silva gave us an incredible amount of their time to cover their remarkable careers - and we even found out the one thing that could tear the team apart!

It's been over a year since we last saw Jessica Troy step inside the ring for Melbourne City Wrestling so when it was announced that she would face Kellyanne at Ballroom Brawl, we had to sit down with the 'Arm Collector' for the latest edition of MCW Wired! We spoke to her before her match and got her thoughts on the her career so far, wrestling overseas and how there's no real 'Aussie style' of wrestling, and she tells us about her dream match against Candice LeRae.

Melbourne City Wrestling made it's long awaited return to the Thornbury Theatre with MCW Homecoming on February 6th, and we were surprised with an appearance from Mikey Broderick challenging for the Intercommonwealth Championship. We sat down with him at Homecoming to ask him about his return to MCW, being trained by Lance Storm, his time in Japan, and what it means to him to see how well he and his fellow TMDK members have made an impact on promotions around Australia and the world.

For the first time in the short tenure of MCW Wired we were able to have a sit down face to face interview with our guests and for our first in person interview we couldn't decide between "The Business" Slex and MCW World Champion Adam Brooks - so we got them both!They were good enough to join us at the Academy to talk about the past year, and our return to the Thornbury Theatre on February 6th for MCW Homecoming... at least that's what we hoped to do for this episode at least.
