This episode is really fun because our guest, Tara Jarrett, and I both have some epiphanies during our conversation and we get really jazzed about it! Tara is in real estate development where she literally creates communities and she also has a beauty community through her blog, Her Natural Way and her Instagram account. Tara and I discussed a topic we're both passionate about – redefining beauty – what does it mean and how can we feel more beautiful? Does it come from the perfect cream or lipstick or is it deeper than that? Spoiler alert – yes, it is deeper than that. She shares how a month of not wearing any makeup to work changed her life and how her new chapter in her mid 30's is causing her to do some soul searching. Our discussion with Josey today is about our Peptide SPF 30, #3 on our countdown of our top products. We talk about why sunscreen is important, how ours came to be and why it's such a top-seller. Also – it's game time for SPF as a concept so if you haven't picked one up, whether it's ours or someone else's, please get on it!The discussion Tara and I had encompasses so much of what I believe about the concept of beauty – it's SO. Hello and welcome! Today I am joined by the amazing speaker, leader, and writer, Jeanne Stevens. Let me just say that I waste no time at all in this episode by asking her all of my many questions about her trek up Mt. Kilimanjaro, You heard that right… Mt. Kilimanjaro! That's so amazing! I asked the questions, and she delivered my friends… from hilarious to deeply personal thoughts; she shared all the details with us about what God was doing in her in the midst of this life-changing experience. And interestingly enough, Jeanne shares how she wonders if her book didn't actually start to take shape during her experiences on Mt. Kilimanjaro. Her soon-to-release book is called What's Here Now?, and I just love the subtitle - How to stop rehashing the past, rehearsing the future, and start receiving the present. So good. I promise you don't want to miss listening in to hear Jeanne teach us how to embrace the present moment and all that God has for us here, now. Jeanne Stevens is also the founding and co-lead pastor of Soul City Church in Chicago, one of America's fastest-growing urban churches. Prior to starting Soul City Church, Stevens was on the pastoral staff at Willow Creek Community Church and North Point Community Church. Jeanne's passion is to help people wake up to their purpose as they pursue a life of wholehearted freedom. She lives in Chicago with her husband, Jarrett, and their two children. What's Here Now will be available nationwide on May 17, 2022. Listen in to learn more about: Valuable questions to ask ourselves as a way to come into our “now” moments often throughout the day, How the present is where God lives, and it is where God invites us to live with Him. The differences between our automatic self and our authentic self. Favorite quotes: ~ When things don't go the way you believe they should go, it is packed with all the very best learning. ~ It was such a great inner teacher for me to not make it to the top and to unwind all of what that meant in my life. ~We are so inclined to think about what happened, to go to the ‘what was, the what ifs and all I had was what IS' ,this present moment - here on the mountain. And the thing to do each day was to put one foot in front of the other and to be present with that. ~I was doing the work of God but the work of God was deteriorating in me. ~What I began to realize and recognize in my own life was that the places where I was most hanging out were in the past and in my future. I was all about rehashing things that already happened or rehearsing things that had not yet happened and I wasn't allowing myself to be present to this NOW moment. ~I need to locate myself to this location and check into this present moment. In this episode I answered this question: How can I calm myself down when I am feeling stressed so often?

Full Hour | In today's second hour, Dom welcomes Fox News legal analyst Gregg Jarrett back onto the Dom Giordano Program to dissect the leak of the SCOTUS initial draft opinion striking down Roe v. Wade as reported by Politico. First, Giordano asks Jarrett to break down the legal side of the story, discussing the unprecedented nature of a Supreme Court leak, and the legal blowback the leaker may face. Giordano and Jarrett pontificate whether this was a type of political strategy to effect the midterms, whether it may have been an internal leak to take the temperature, or whether this was an individual who acted on their own. Also, Giordano and Jarrett discuss the legality of the decision itself, and tell which Justices they believe vote against or in favor of the change. Then, Dom tries to speak with Kathy Barnette as she traverses the mountains of Pennsylvania to get her thoughts on how the SCOTUS leak effects the Senate primary in Pennsylvania, but regrettably due to bad service, has to cut the interview short. Kathy, though, explains why the pro-life topic means so much to her, and also answers to a new ad ran by opponent Sean Gale focusing on Barnette's use of her race in the primary. After Kathy, Dan relegates his Dan Time with Dom back to Dom, with the host discussing news out of Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner's office, telling that the official has been sued after denying a Philadelphia prosecutor a religious exemption, justified by her Orthodox Judaism.

I was raised in the world of Web1, went to High School and College in web2 and more recently have found myself not only immersed but fascinated daily by the people I meet via web3, NFTs and the metaverse. The metaverse especially is maturing seemingly weekly as more and more funding is allocated towards the space. Citi bank has high expectations for the metaverse, with its analysts projecting the Web3 economy to reach up to $13 trillion dollars in valuation by 2030. The metaverse has the potential to seamlessly blend the physical and digital world in an immersive way like we've never seen before. And one of the key challenges to ensure that the metaverse flows is making sure we, as the metaverse's participants, are able to express ourselves and maintain our physical world identities through motion as we do in real life. And for this episode, I can't think of a better guest to discuss how we will move in the metaverse than Remco Sikkema. Remco and I met on LinkedIn where his daily posts are an impressive window into how the metaverse will incorporate our human movement into AR, VR and/or MR spaces. Remco is the Senior Marketing Manager for Movella and Xsens and really finds himself on the forefront of movement technology which will ideally allow all interested parties to one day move freely and uniquely in AR, VR and/or MR spaces in the metaverse. As a footnote to this episode, I'd like to clarify two things - First, the NFT project I mentioned that had a technical problem and lost $24 million well, it was actually $34M. And secondly, Remco confirmed that the Xsens suit‘s price tag is not $10k but actually $3.5k and if you're interested in acquiring one - please reach out to Remco on LinkedIn for more information. In this episode, we discuss: ✔️ Web1 - Web3 ✔️ Metaverse community ✔️ NFT wins and failures ✔️ Avatar communication ✔️ Motion-Print ✔️ Xsens Motion Capture ✔️ VR and AR ✔️ Afterlife Metaverse ✔️ Digital IP & copyright ✔️ And of course about Movella Be sure to follow us on social media @ More Than Blockchain and subscribe wherever you listen to the podcast. There aren't many times when the legendary voice of Ken Squire takes the backseat. But this story is an exception. With the laps winding down in the 1993 Daytona 500, Dale Jarrett's job was simple: get to the lead. He found himself within striking distance of the front, and the Daytona 500 victory.
