I'd love to hear your thoughts on the podcast! Let me know via text :)In this very powerful episode, I sit down with the extraordinary Kelly-Anne Kerley, author of the compelling memoir Breaking Up with My Wheelchair. Together, we have an honest, heartfelt, and at times humorous conversation about trauma, healing, identity—and the journey of turning deeply personal stories into audiobooks.Kelly-Anne's life was changed in an instant when she was hit by a car, resulting in a devastating chain of injuries: a traumatic brain injury (TBI), incomplete spinal cord injury (SCI), multiple surgeries, and months of intense rehabilitation. But her story isn't just about pain—it's about power. From being completely incapacitated to learning how to walk, function, and even ride again, Breaking Up with My Wheelchair is a celebration of strength, mindset, and triumph. In this episode, I also open up for the first time about my own recent trauma—a cancer scare that affected my appearance and deeply challenged my sense of self. Vulnerability met vulnerability in our chat, and it became clear that storytelling through audio is more than just a format—it's a form of healing.
Mental health, cluster B, bipolar, and OCD - there are so many types of behavioral health disabilities. The new movie, RED ROOMS (2025), seems to be a film about a man that has been arrested as a potential serial killer. But is it? The movie actually focuses on a person that in no way is involved in the case or the trial or the crime, until she places herself into it.From RottenTomatoes: "The high-profile case of serial killer Ludovic Chevalier has just gone to trial, and Kelly-Anne is obsessed. When reality blurs with her morbid fantasies, she goes down a dark path to seek the final piece of the puzzle: the missing video of a murdered 13-year-old girl, to whom Kelly-Anne bears a disturbing resemblance."A Quebec produced French language film, RED ROOMS (2025) is directed and written by Pacal Plante. The film stars Juliette Gariépy as a fashion model named Kelly-Anne in a fabulous performance. The casts also includes Laurie Babin, Maxwell McCabe-Lokos, and Elisabeth Locas. Getting excellent reviews, your co-hosts take a look at this new movie and give their thoughts.

Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another episode of Roundtable Recaps with your Challenge Fandom Podcast hosts Rick, Corrina, Katie and Tony. This week we are back to recap all the important parts of the first 3 episodes of MTV's The Challenge All Stars 5: Rivals. We are back this season with a whole new recap format and we hope this leaves more room for you, as the listener, to get involved with our recaps and social media content. We are also hoping that changing up our format will bring a freshness to your ears and our minds. Kicking things off we catch up for about 5 minutes and then Rick explains our new format, how it's going to work and how you (the listener) can get involved! We start the recap around 8 minutes in with our first segment where we debate the best and worth Rival pairings and how we are feeling about co-ed teams playing against non-co-ed teams. Around 26 minutes we move into Segment 2 and discuss the opening daily challenge on episode 1 and whether or not it was a good way to open a Rivals themed season. For segment 3 we move into episode 2 and discuss the daily challenge including which teams shocked us the most, whether or not this is the worst daily in history and should there be guaranteed incentive to come in first place mixed with a penalty of some sort for coming in last? From there we move on to segment 4 where we discuss the first eliminaton of the season with Adam and Steve VS Beth and Jonna in a recreated elimination we first saw Bananas and Theo compete in on The Challenge 40, with minor adjustments. Then we move into the Sylvia VS Kellyanne fight that closed out episode 2 and discuss who was in the wrong (if anyone), our thoughts on the dogs vs kids discussion and we also spill some tea from Frank's IG Live right after episode 3. Finally for our last few segments, we break down episode 3 starting with the daily challenge and whether or not the obstacle course was difficult enough, how we felt about the second elimination of the season with Adam and Steve taking out Sylvia and Kellyanne in a strength based elimination and of course, we had to debate the Ashley Mitchell VS Aneesa argument that was given to us at the end of episode 3 including how we think Aneesa would have handled the situation if the roles were reversed. We finally close out the show with our MVP (this might be the first time in history that we've all agreed on an MVP), overall season grade thus far and last minute thoughts. All this and more now available on The Challenge Fandom Podcast The Challenge All Stars 5: Rivals - EP1-3 Roundtable Recap. Sylvia and KellyAnne complete the fastest Rivals season arc ever! Plus: Adam - and maybe some others - are VERY sick, some fears and insecurities are faced and overcome, Devin thinks he's masterminding while Frank actually masterminds, and the inevitable blow up between Aneesa and Ashley begins it's countdown! Allan, Luke, and Zoe get together to recap episodes 3 of All Stars 5 Rivals. We talk about the obstacle course daily challenge, way too much about Aneesa & Ashley, Frank being a puppet master, and KellyAnne & Sylvia's reconciliation.
TJ is in the house doing group votes and I couldn't be happier! Plus: Beth's got jeans from Gauntlet 2, Leroy's got poop jokes, no one wants to do the daily challenge, Amber is still good but maybe still too nice, Frank is getting busy, Adam and Steve are old but game, and Sylvia and KellyAnne remind the house that this is in fact a Rivals season! [SEGMENT 2-1] Democrats have fallen 1 - Pelosi https://www.nbcnews.com/now/video/nancy-pelosi-hospitalized-during-congressional-visit-to-luxembourg-227011141972Nancy Pelosi Falls Abroad: A Sign from God or Just Bad Balance?Pelosi's Luxembourg Adventure: From Battle of the Bulge to Battle of the Ground.Gravity's Political Statement: Pelosi Takes a Dive in Europe.Nancy Pelosi's Luxembourg Fall: A New Low in Political Travel?Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the Democratic stalwart who's held onto power longer than a stubborn hangnail, had an unexpected slip while on a congressional delegation trip in Luxembourg. The event was meant to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge, but Pelosi added her own “historic fall” to the itinerary. Some might argue that this fall was more symbolic than accidental—a nudge from the universe, perhaps, hinting it's time for the geriatrics of Congress to call it quits. Pelosi, older than President Joe Biden and arguably just as accident-prone, sustained an injury that required hospitalization. At her age, recovering from a tumble is less of a bounce-back and more of a negotiation with fate. To add context, her political career has lasted so long, she could've personally lobbied FDR for Social Security. This raises the question: What was Pelosi doing in Luxembourg, anyway? The cynics might wonder if she was scouting for Electoral College votes in a European democracy or indulging in another taxpayer-funded boondoggle. After all, there's no better place to reflect on the heroism of WWII veterans than a five-star suite in Europe, right? Some suggest Pelosi's fall might be a divine intervention. The Almighty might be sending a clear message: retire already. At her age, gravity isn't just a law; it's an opponent—and one that seems to be gaining the upper hand. Pelosi's accident comes as the nation increasingly debates the issue of leadership longevity. Alongside Mitch McConnell's frequent freezes and Joe Biden's conversational detours into oblivion, Pelosi's Luxembourg stumble only underscores the need for term limits—or at least a vigorous game of shuffleboard in the congressional retirement home. Botox, as effective as it is on facial wrinkles, doesn't work on equilibrium or political stamina. As the news breaks, updates on her condition remain scant, likely because they aren't great. In classic media fashion, if it's bad for the Left, it's kept quiet. For Pelosi's critics, her fall is a moment of grim irony, as some might view her “trip” abroad as a final chapter to her political adventures. Politics, much like Pelosi's footing, is shaky these days. The nation is clamoring for new blood, fresher faces, and leaders who don't require an orthopedic specialist on speed dial. Perhaps it's time for Pelosi, McConnell, and the rest of the geriocracy to take a cue from history's battles and bow out gracefully before they're carried out involuntarily. [SEGMENT 2-2] Democrats have fallen 2 - Van Jones Pelosi falling in Luxembourg is symbolic of the Democratic Party. They have fallen. Democrats resemble nothing of what they claim to stand for. And it's not just Conservatives saying this. For the first time in a long time, I'm watching Democrats argue openly about their party. It's the first step in a 12-step program, where some are slightly waking up. I've documented some of their mea culpas, but I also point out that while they see the error of their ways, it's only partially. Despite the wake-up call, most Leftist still hold Leftist tendencies or rationalizations. Take Van Jones for example. Jones sounded the alarm bell for Leftists, nevertheless he still missed the bigger picture. He blames Democrats for missing the digital revolution, but doesn't blame their messaging. [X] SB – Van Jones on Leftists being way off Laughing at Trump. 24-hour digital surround sound Kai Sent Aidan Ross, Jinxy, and Sketch Twitch, Kick, and Rumble Mainstream is fringe, fringe is mainstream I hate to agree with her, but I do a lot of times. CNN's Van Jones warned on Wednesday that the entire “political class” in the country is “way off” when it comes to connecting to voters, as “fringe” platforms and voices have replaced “mainstream” outlets like his own network. Jones was one of a number of voices to participate in a panel discussion for The New York Times' Dealbook Summit this week, along with others like Kellyanne Conway and Kevin McCarthy. Jones, a former advisor to former President Barack Obama, argued that President-elect Donald Trump better understood the digital sphere and the current issues men in the country are facing than Democrats during the election. The entire political class is way off. First of all, digital is the new door knocking. You got to understand that. We were laughing our butts off at Donald Trump for suspending his door knocking campaign and letting Charlie Kirk and Elon [Musk] do a bunch of stuff online. We said, ‘these guys are idiots, these guys are stupid.' Then you start knocking on these doors. You know what people come to the door with? They're phone in their hand. They're in a 24 hour digital surround sound that has nothing to do with CNN, that has nothing to do with anything we do. “I don't what who he's talking about,” he said. Jones fretted that streamers and podcasters are bringing in views that cable news cannot come close to touching. “The mainstream has become fringe and the fringe has become mainstream,” he said. “There are platforms, there are people out there that are getting 14 million streams and we're on cable news getting one to two million.” Jones hasn't learned that it's Democrats messaging that's the problem, not the distribution system. Remember how Obama revolutionized politics with his ground game? Much of it was built around social media, considered revolutionary at the time. Truth be told, he was going to beat McCain, even if the Obama campaign communicated by tin cans and smoke signals. Jones seems to forget that social media isn't new, and it was Obama who used it most effectively. However, Jones is right in that Leftists put way too much faith in their dying media industry. Alarm bells for the prestige media have been sounding for the better part of a decade. Decaying viewership, listenership, and so on. But Democrats dismissed the polls, because the polls reported what they didn't want to believe. But aside from Jones' warning, he said something even more profound when he declared, “I hate to agree with KellyAnne…” Why would you hate to agree with someone. Despite their political difference, if she makes a good point, simply say that. Jones revealed in that statement that he doesn't like that he's wrong. He was forced to admit that KellyAnne was right. In his defense, he's one of the few Leftists willing to do this. Still, there should be no caveat on truth. [SEGMENT 2-3] Democrats have fallen 3 – Trump lawsuit Potential Titles“Fake News, Real Checks: How Trump Made ABC Pay”“George Stephanopoulos: From Clinton's Spin Doctor to Trump's ATM”“Trump Turns Tables on the Media: $15M and Counting”“Stephanopoulos's Irony Overdose: A Clinton Guy Paying Trump for Defamation”“91 Indictments and a $15 Million Lawsuit Win—Who's the Real Teflon Don?” Trump's $15 Million Smackdown: ABC, Stephanopoulos, and the Sweet Taste of Karma Imagine George Stephanopoulos—a man who spent years spinning stories for Bill Clinton, the original Oval Office scandal artist—getting his media empire handed a $15 million bill by Donald J. Trump. And not for a new golf course or gold-plated helicopter, but for defamation. That's right, George, the guy who helped a bona fide rapist into the White House, is now cutting checks for calling Trump out on rape allegations. The irony here isn't just thick; it's practically bulletproof. And Trump? Oh, he didn't pocket the cash. No, the man who's been branded every flavor of villain decided to channel the funds into a charity. Yep, a new foundation in his name, much like the one the Clintons ran but (hopefully) without the Haitian real estate scandals. This settlement is not just a win for Trump; it's a giant red rubber stamp that says, “Told ya so!” on his war against fake news. It's also a warning shot across the bow of mainstream media. CBS's 60 Minutes? You're up next, baby. Rumor has it, they might need to start fundraising to cover Trump's legal fees. Maybe they can sell some "unbiased journalism" on Etsy. [SEGMENT 2-4] Democrats have fallen 4 – Trump lawsuit [X] SB – Stephanopoulos with Mace [X] SB – Stephanopoulos then and now ABC and the Blood Money Apology Here's the backstory for those just tuning in. Trump sued ABC News and George Stephanopoulos after an article from March 2024 insinuated... well, things that you really don't want to insinuate about someone running for president. But it gets better. The article was tied to an interview with Rep. Nancy Mace—a rape survivor—who not only supported Trump but also went toe-to-toe with Stephanopoulos live on air. Talk about awkward. While grilling Mace, Stephanopoulos went full smug mode, somehow managing to imply that Trump was morally bankrupt while pretending his own Clinton-era skeletons didn't exist. I mean, the guy worked for the administration that made cigars a punchline, yet he had the gall to lecture anyone else about Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-kevin-jackson-show--2896352/support.
This week on Ring of Fire! Donald Trump has finally announced where his failed attorney Alina Habba is going to land in his new administration, and she will be serving as the new Counselor to the President. This position was previously held by Kellyanne Conway, meaning that Habba has officially become the new Kellyanne. Her job, just like Conway's, will be to give Trump advice but most importantly to go out and do interviews about how awesome he is. During his interview with Meet The Press on Sunday, Donald Trump served up an incomprehensible word salad where he appeared to imply that he invented the word “groceries.” He was asked about prices and inflation, and instead of giving a coherent answer, he went on a long rant about “groceries” and then pivoted to how amazing tariffs are – but he still wouldn't say that consumers will NOT pay higher prices under his policies. All hell broke loose during a recent city council meeting in the small town of Middleton, Ohio, when JD Vance's mother demanded that the city honor her son and recognize the “role” that he played in Donald Trump's reelection. The city plans to honor him, but they don't want to rush to any conclusions just yet because he hasn't even been sworn in. This is now the second time in as many weeks that a Republican had his mommy go out and advocate on his behalf. All that, and much more, on this week's Ring of Fire Podcast!
Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another episode of Roundtable Recap with your Challenge Fandom Podcast hosts Rick, Corrina, Josh and Alexis. Plus this week we had a very special guest join us: Alexis' husband Sam! We kick off the episode talking about football, the Mike Tyson VS Jake Paul fight and what in the world is Alexis doing with life size cut-outs?! If you'd like to skip this silly intro stuff, go to 08:02. We break into the episode recap by discussing our overall thoughts and giving the episode an overall grade. We also discuss what the foreshadow scene of Evelyn quitting in her elimination against Kellyanne could have meant, the heavy Bananas opener on this episode and what were everyone's thoughts on Johnny Bananas and Josh VS Michele? Next we debate whether or not Olivia's rookie season was a fluke, whether or not we believe that Cara truly wants to be one of Bananas' Angels, and without all the issues with Devin would Bananas have made Michele one of his top girls regardless of her performance level? We also discuss whether or not Johnny Bananas came to win or to have fun, why Tori is sticking by Josh so hard, our thoughts on the daily, what we would have liked to see differently, our assumptions on why we have been getting less physical games these last 5-8 seasons and is Michele truly the one in the house who is most like Cara? After a short break, we discuss the entire bus scene including how, as long time married couples, we would feel about the situation, Derek Chavez' deleted fight scene, our favorite new prospective alliance and why this season has been so much fun to watch socially. We also breakdown why Tori and Cara working together is better than them being rivals, Josh confirming he is on the Angel's side, Nia and Theo crashing the bar scene and of course Aviv's awkward confrontation of Michele and Olivia regarding the footsie callout on the bus scene. To wrap things up we breakdown the elimination, debate what we think is taking away from the dailies and eliminations the most, how we felt about Johnny Bananas cheering for Olivia and calling her "Liv", whether or not the eliminations are rigged for Michele, the biggest fan complaint that we are simply SICK OF and of course; we close out the show with discussing targets, next time on, MVP's lines of the night and any other stupid random things we can think of last minute. As Martha heads into her sixth election at FOX News, she knows a thing or two about what to look out for as Americans begin casting their ballots. Today, Martha sits down with another Election Day expert, former Trump campaign senior adviser and host of 'Here's the Deal with Kellyanne' on FOX Nation, Kellyanne Conway to discuss how a potential realignment of demographic groups, split ticket voting, and a polarized electorate will impact this election in a way Americans have likely never seen before. They also discuss the role faith and religion may play in this election, and the challenges journalists face in restoring public trust in the media. This week on Ring of Fire! Republican Senator JD Vance likely didn't do himself any favors in the vice-presidential debate against Governor Tim Walz on Tuesday evening. Vance repeatedly refused to answer questions and lied throughout most of the debate. At one point, he was so angry about being fact checked that he attacked the moderators before they ended up cutting his microphone. But it was his refusal to acknowledge that Trump lost the 2020 election that really raised eyebrows Donald Trump is getting absolutely trashed for spreading lies about the Biden Administration's response to Hurricane Helene. And it isn't just the Left that's going after him – Republicans are having to come out and debunk his lies, too. Trump has claimed that the Biden administration is doing nothing and not even taking calls from Republican-controlled states, but the truth is that Biden has been on the phone constantly and offering whatever aid is needed for ALL states impacted. Sometimes it isn't exactly clear if Kellyanne Conway wants Donald Trump to win the election or not. During an interview on Fox News this week, Conway said that she tried to taunt Trump into doing another debate with Kamala Harris, even though he completely botched it the first time. But if Trump can't even convince his friends that he's not a coward, then he has no hope of convincing the public. All that, and much more, on this week's Ring of Fire Podcast!
Mike Ferguson in the Morning 09-18-24 Kellyanne Conway on the 2024 presidential race, what President Trump's strategy should be in the closing weeks, and if she thinks the presidential campaign will be toned down. Kelly-Anne (Juliette Gariépy) wakes up every morning by the courthouse to secure a seat at the high-profile trial of Ludovic Chevalier (Maxwell McCabe-Lokos), a serial killer she is obsessed with. As days go by, the young woman bonds with another groupie (Laurie Babin), which momentarily breaks her out of her loneliness. But as the proceedings drag on and she spends more time in the courtroom with the victims' families, Kelly-Anne finds it increasingly difficult to maintain her psychological balance and assume her morbid fixation with the killer. She will then do whatever it takes to get her hands on the final piece of the puzzle: the missing video of a murdered 13-year-old girl, to whom Kelly-Anne bears a disturbing resemblance.Connect with the Film School'd Podcast:– Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/filmschoold– Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/filmschooldpod/– Twitter: https://twitter.com/FilmSchooldPod– YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdgrswiL4AGviAOcbzfYCAwContinue the Conversation in the Official Film School'd Discussion Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/filmschoold

As the end of Donald Trump's first trial nears, Margaret Hoover sits down with conservative attorney and former Trump supporter George Conway to discuss the case and the prospect of another Trump presidency. Conway defends the Manhattan prosecution, talks about watching Trump in the courtroom, and explains why he disagrees with those who say the case is driven by politics. He also argues Trump has received preferential treatment from the courts, including in the classified documents case overseen by Judge Aileen Cannon, who he says is “corrupt” and “not competent.” Conway, whose ex-wife Kellyanne managed Trump's 2016 campaign, explains why he sees a second Trump term as a threat to American democracy and why he now believes Trump is a narcissistic sociopath who is unfit for public office. Conway, a longtime member of the Federalist Society, assesses whether Trump's Supreme Court nominations were worth the damage he has done and why conservative institutions have failed to respond to his abuses of power. He also addresses reports of an upside-down American flag seen at Justice Samuel Alito's home in January 2021. Conway reflects on his own political evolution from a key player in Bill Clinton's impeachment to big-dollar donor to Joe Biden's reelection campaign. He contrasts Clinton and Trump, and he explains why he teared up when he cast a vote for Biden in 2020. This week on Ring of Fire! George Santos isn't worried about the prospect of spending the next few decades in prison, and he's already making plans for the next few years. Santos announced just a few days ago that he is once again running for Congress, this time trying to unseat Republican Represenative Nick LaLota for New York's First Congressional district seat. Santos has more important things to worry about, but he would rather get media attention than fret over his upcoming criminal trial. Kellyanne Conway is taking a break from her role of teaching Republicans how to talk about women's issues to take on a new task: Preventing the government from banning TikTok. And her conservative peers are furious about her new crusade. Fox News host Mark Levin lashed out at Conway over the weekend, saying that it wasn't just "appalling" that she's being paid to protect TikTok, but also that it was "shocking." For once, Conway might be on the correct side of an issue, and that's making conservatives very angry. During an interview on CNBC this week, Donald Trump decided to torpedo his presidential campaign by saying that there are lots of things you can do in terms of cutting "entitlement" programs, which means Social Security and Medicare. If this is what Trump is going to campaign on, he is going to lose the largest voting demographic for Republicans, which happens to be people on Social Security and Medicare. Donald Trump's cronies that are now in charge of the Republican National Committee have begun purging employees, with dozens let go so far this week. These people are being let go because the new leadership wants to make sure that they have people who are loyal only to Trump, and that's not going to end well for the Party. All that, and much more, on this week's Ring of Fire!

We can officially say the 2024 Presidential Election cycle is upon us, the candidates have campaigned and now it's time for the voters to decide. Former Senior Counselor to President Trump and Founder of KA Consulting, Kellyanne Conway joins with a temperature check on the remaining GOP Candidates' favor amongst voters heading into the Iowa Caucuses. Former President Trump remains the frontrunner in the GOP race to the White House, despite former Ambassador Nikki Haley's increase in support amongst prominent donors. While the Haley campaign's growth is substantial, Kellyanne reminds listeners that donors don't determine elections, voters do. Uphill battle: The Democrat Party has long been regarded as the party for young, progressive, and minority voters, however with President Biden losing support from these key demographics the 2024 Presidential Election looks less reminiscent of 2020 by the day. Kellyanne emphasizes that President Biden will need to remind voters that he is still the candidate who did and can still defeat Donald Trump.
