Glam rock is back ladies and gentlemen, and it has a new name. The Midnight Devils.Described as a glam, slam, boogie woogie rock and roll band, The Midnight Devils have been carving up the Sunset Strip for a number of years now, taking ass and kicking names the whole time.Following the succes of their debut album Something Bigger, The Midnight Devils enjoyed a renewed wave of success, taking glam rock into the homes and ears of a new generation of fans still satisfied with the Golden Era of glam. With the recently released follow up Never Beg For It - produced by the legendary Chip Z'Nuff from Enuff Z'Nuff - The Midnight Deviils have promised to redefine the way the world listens to glam metal, taking it to the next level in the process.Bass player/vocalist Sam Spade joined HEAVY to talk about the album."The response has been overwhelming," he smiled. "The album was produced by Chip Z'Nuff and released under Pavement Entertainment so it's our first official release on a major label, and the response has been overwhelming. The single Highway 69 has been getting love all over the world so the record label is happy. We released a video and a single for Working For The Weekend, a Loverboy cover, and people just love it. It's funny, it's a blast, it's a party. It's exactly what rock and roll is supposed to be."The title is pretty self explanitory, but could also be directed at a number of different situations. The only way to know for sure is to ask."It's a really tongue in cheek kind of thing," Spade laughed, "but let me tell you the title actually came... We were sitting there hanging around with Chip, recording the record before we even decided on a name, and he's sitting there smoking a joint - and it's seven papers long - and he's like bro, you need to tell these people, tell them you've got a record coming out on a national label, you've got a world tour in the books, let me tell you one thing you never do. You never beg for it bro, tell her that."In the full interview, Sam talks more about Never Beg For It, the musicality of the album, runs through a few of the tracks and explains the story behind them, working with Chip, what he brought to the sound, the new age of glam metal, coming to Australia and more.

Vintage ‘80s Metal Recordings from Video Vixen SALLY STEELE Finally See Worldwide Release! With her teased-up blonde hair and supermodel looks, it's no surprise that Sally Steele found herself cast in music videos by the likes of Loverboy, Eric Carmen, Bruce Willis and others. But her true passion was always in music creation and so, in 1986, she put a band together and started performing shows in the musical mecca of Hollywood's Sunset Strip. Soon she crossed paths with mega producer Paul Sabu (who helped Steele bring two of her songs to life, “Too Bad (It Had To Be You” and “Leave My Heart Alone.” A music video was filmed for the latter and premiered on MTV's Basement Tapes show in 1988. After some personnel changes, Steele's band soldiered on with more songs and recordings. They became regulars at The Coconut Teaser, FM Station, Madame Wong's and The Whisky. However, as the music scene began to change in the early ‘90s Steele decided it was best to hang up her guitar – but she never lost her true passion. As Steele puts it “It was back when the Seattle grunge scene had replaced the music I loved from the ‘80s and I was told my music was ‘too commercial.' But here we are today, and I am so excited to finally get my material out to the world. I hope you enjoy my songs from the 1980s. And one thing that has never changed is – I still live and breathe rock n' roll 24 hours a day!” So do I Sally! You Could Have Been a Lady". En 1979, elBBC lanzó In Concert para distribución internacional; En 1981, Aquarius lanzó otro álbum recopilatorio, The Best of April Wine Rock Ballads . El álbum incluía los sencillos "Enough is Enough", "If You See Kay" y "Anything You Want, You Got It". Mientras tanto, varios sellos lanzaron varios álbumes recopilatorios. En 2004, Silverline lanzó el primer DVD-A de April Wine llamado From the Front Row ... Live! .

This week we're doing an ALTM Rewind with "Summer House" star, Paige DeSorbo. :) Enjoy! This week Jamie talks to Paige DeSorbo, co-star of Bravo's hit show “Summer House.” Jamie and Paige share what was just the right amount of too much this week and their quarantine beauty product favorites. They then, of course, get into all things Bravo “Summer House.” Paige talks about her fight with Lindsay and addresses whether or not she meddled with Hannah and Luke's relationship. They then talk about how awful the people on Twitter can be how this season she's received more troll comments (and how she's dealing with that drama). After that they share their thoughts on Jessica from “Love Is Blind” and Scheana from “Vanderpump Rules,” and then get straight into Paige's pantry make out sessions with Carl last summer. After that Jamie asks Paige about all things Jordan and whether or not she thinks he's in the closet (not to be confused with the pantry). Paige gives her take on the Jordan and Jules situation and what she would've done differently. Paige then answers a few questions from Jamie's followers like what surprises her about Carl and whether or not she thinks Jules should've been kicked out of the house. Paige talks about the whole “finger bang” inside joke, Amanda quitting her full time job for Lover Boy, her honest opinion on Lindsay, and the Lindsay and Carl situation. We end the episode with a “Summer House” themed game of word association and it's absolutely hilarious.
