We are three colleagues who enjoy discussing news and topics relating to extended reality. We believe there is a big gap in society on what extended reality is and how it's used. Each episode we will touch on different points and current affairs in the XR world and do our best to communicate this information to you. Please enjoy our Podcast and do not take it too seriously! We appreciate any comments or questions and challenges, just post on Twitter using the hashtag #AskTheXRgap

This week we discuss the use of XR for reconstructing historical sites that are not with us anymore. We are joined by two very special guests Ben Newman and Adam Morsman who are research apprentices at one of the largest telecommunications company in the UK. Research apprentices tell us about their journey on creating a virtual reality experience for the Bawsdsey Radar in Suffolk. VR experience is now available to try in the Bawdsey Radar Museum where guests can climb up the historical radar towers that were used to detect enemy planes in World War 2.
