Welcome to the M.P.G.P. Podcast! Where each week hosts Hayley and Craig discuss horror movies, especially ones where the kill count is higher than the production value!
Hayley Zalkin and Craig Stewart
It's the long awaited showdown between two 80's Horror Heaveyweights! In one corner we got the Dream Demon himself, Freddy KRUEGER! And in the other corner it's the Mama's Boy Back from Hell, Jason VOORHEES! Who will leave the battle victorious, and how many teens' lives will be lost in the crossfire? We're your referees, Hayley and Craig, podcasting live from the big event here on the MPGP Podcast! Get ready for some Immortal Kombat! Ding, Ding
Where is there left to go for a horror franchise that has already been to Hell, and Manhattan (or as we like to call it 'Fun Hell')? The Hood?
So we SAW (
MPGP is back from our week-long hiatus to bring you a new and improved MPGP! Yep, that's right, we've tweaked our format slightly, and hopefully for the better. Basically the new format is MPGP: Oops all Bantah! To test out this new format we'll be talking about Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday (1993). If you've been keeping count, JGtH marks the ninth installment in the franchise as well as the second time the word "Final" has been used in the subtitle
Alright back to the good stuff. The last Friday the 13th wasn't our favorite, and well, this one isn't either, but at least we liked it! How can you not; it's called JASON TAKES MANHATTAN? Though a more accurate title might be JASON: WET AND ON A BOAT. This is one slimy Jason. Somehow this movie still manages to be entertaining, even though the entire movie you're asking yourself, "When the fuck does Jason take Manhattan?" This movie is the most fun and wacky of the series thus far! We just wish it could have fully lived up to the title. Oh well, maybe someone should remake it
We didn't think it was possible, but it happened; we found a not-so-great Friday the 13th flick.
Alright y’all for the latest episode of MPGP we are talking about what might be our favorite Friday the 13th movie, Friday the 13th Part 6: Jason Lives! We aren’t quite sure why zombie Jason is so much thicc’r than all other iterations of the character but we aren’t complaining
Never believe promises made on the box art of blockbuster horror franchise films. What happened to the last movie being The Final Chapter? Well, they lied to us, but hey, we're not complaining! Friday the 13th Part 5: A New Beginning somehow manages to be new and divisive amongst fans of the series while also following the exact same formula as the last 4 films
The Final Chapter? Oh c'mon Jason, we know you still got some fight left in you. I mean there are eight more films that follow this one after all... For being a bear Jason sure does love to play possum. Title aside you are in for a treat with this one; this is peak Jason, in all his bloody hockey mask glory! This movie also marks the introduction of Tommy Jarvis, a 12 year old boy who likes making monster masks and spying on the party house full of hot 'n' horny teens next door. If you've watched the Friday series up to this point then you know Jason loves to crash cabin parties. Maybe Jason will have a dance off with Crispin Glover? Or end up with twins? Watch vintage porn with Teddy? Maybe all of the above! Thank G-d Jason brought the corkscrew! Defenestration for everyone!
Vvelcome to ze waxwork... episode of the MPGP podcast! This episode we are taking a break from the Friday the 13th franchise to cover one of our absolute favorite 80's horror movies, Waxwork. We love this movie and you should too; why? because it has everything! Little people, tall people, werwolves, vampires, zombies, "teens", and KILLS. All packaged conveniently in a movie about a satanic Wax museum and its despicable director, the dapperly dressed devil disciple David Lincoln!Would you like to take a closer look???
Hosts Hayley and Craig are back again to discuss another installment in the Friday the 13th franchise. This time it's part 3, and guess what? It's in (super) 3D! Of course it is. Listen as we ~~glaze~ over topics such as The Worst Trail Mix, Jason's hair loss, and our favorite kills. Podcast recorded in Super 3D Audio™
Serving up big 3rd Episode vibes on this one. We cover topics such as projectile vomit, Crazy Ralph, Jason's porcelain throne, and the question on everyone's mind, "Jason Voorhees Unmasked: Hot or Nah?" -maybe both? You'll have to listen to find out!
On this episode hosts Hayley and Craig talk about the camp slasher classic Friday the 13th, violence against snakes, and how much we hate Monopoly.
Welcome to the MPGP podcast! For our first episode we will be discussing the 1981 Canadian slasher classic, My Bloody Valentine! Just in time for Valentine's Day
