Always been a fan of Shinji Mikami's Work, and this one of those games I was missing from his work. This week I decided I needed to change that. Was Excited to try Evil Within since Resident Evil 4 is one of my favorite games of all time. This game is quite strange at times. It feels like we had Too many Cooks in the Kitchen style of game. Has some great moment's that stand out, but also can be very frustrating. This game showed me how much I dislike One hit Kills. Come hear how we felt about this 2014 game. It's Thursday, October 2nd, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Hindus barged into church assaulted pastor and destroyed Bibles Praise God! A court in India recently acquitted a Christian who faced charges under an “anti-conversion” law. The state of Uttarakhand passed the measure in 2018. Pastor Nandan Singh Bisht was the first Christian charged under the law. He faced years of legal battles. However, a judicial magistrate finally cleared the pastor of all charges on September 17th. The case began in 2021. Pastor Bisht gathered with 25 Christians in his house for prayer. In response, local Hindus barged into the house, destroyed their Bibles, and assaulted the pastor. Despite the ordeal, Pastor Bisht told Morning Star News that God was “always faithful and sustained my family's needs. This is the result of answered prayers.” In Matthew 5:11-12, Jesus said, “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in Heaven.” Filipino earthquake kills 60 A 6.9-magnitude earthquake struck the Philippines on Tuesday. The powerful quake killed at least 60 people and injured over 150 more. Philippine Red Cross Chairman Richard Gordon told CNN, “Some churches partially collapsed, and some schools had to be evacuated. This [earthquake] was a sleeper. It crept up on us.” Wycliff Bible Translators released 23 complete Bibles & 95 New Testaments Wycliffe Bible Translators released their latest statistics on Tuesday. Over the past year, translators have released 23 complete Bibles and 95 New Testaments. This work brings the whole Bible to nearly 200 million more people. James Poole, the executive director of Wycliffe Bible Translators, stated, “In recent years, we have seen an extraordinary surge in Bible translation. Progress is happening at a pace and scale not witnessed before, and whole communities are beginning to receive the Scriptures far sooner than we could once have imagined.” Scottish police arrest pro-life grandmother for second time Police in Scotland recently re-arrested a 75-year-old pro-life grandmother for standing outside an abortion mill Rose Docherty simply held a sign that read, “Coercion is a crime, here to talk, only if you want.” It's the second time authorities arrested her under Scotland's buffer zone law. The U.S. State Department told The Telegraph, “The arrest of Rose Docherty is another egregious example of the tyrannical suppression of free speech happening across Europe.” U.S. Gov't shutdown @ midnight Wednesday The U.S. government entered a shutdown at midnight on Wednesday. Congressional leaders could not reach a deal to pass a spending bill by the deadline. Republicans are calling for spending cuts, while Democrats are pushing for more social programs and foreign aid. Listen to comments from Vice President J.D. Vance. VANCE: “To the American people who are watching, the reason your government is shut down at this very minute is because, despite the fact that the overwhelming majority of congressional Republicans and even a few moderate Democrats supported opening the government, the Chuck Schumer/AOC wing of the Democratic Party shut down the government because they said to us, ‘We will open the government, but only if you give billions of dollars of funding for healthcare for illegal aliens.” Previously, the federal government has had 20 funding gaps, resulting in 10 shutdowns since 1976. Contemporary Christian Music ranked 4th and religious stations ranked 2nd Inside Radio released the top 10 radio formats based on current month counts. Religion-formatted stations ranked second, and Contemporary Christian Music ranked fourth. Of the top 10, only Contemporary Christian has welcomed new stations into the format every month over the last year. Religion-formatted stations also saw consistent growth. Other music formats like Country and Top 40 lost a significant number of stations. Public & private school students bring their Bible to school today And finally, today is Focus on the Family's annual Bring Your Bible to School Day. Nearly 1.3 million people and over 10,000 churches participated last year. Emerson Collins is the Parenting and Youth Program Manager for Focus on the Family. He told The Christian Post, “We're looking at thousands of churches, thousands of schools and 2 million students total participating.” Collins said the celebration is not just about bringing Bibles to school but also talking about Christ. He noted, “That's what we're hoping to create is the curiosity, the connection and the conversation around Christ and the Gospel.” The celebration is inspired this year by James 1:22. The verse says, “Be doers of the Word, and not hearers only.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Thursday, October 2nd, in the year of our Lord 2025. Sal and BT furiously dissected the Yankees' Wild Card Game 1 loss, tearing into manager Aaron Boone for his controversial decision to pull ace Max Fried, a move they argue proves Boone lacks a "feel for the game" and relies on pre-programmed analytics. The hosts went scorched-earth on the team's structural flaws, highlighting Aaron Judge's compromised throwing arm being exploited by the Red Sox and calling out Jazz Chisholm's "childish" reaction to being benched. The discussion evolved into a fiery demand for the Yankees (and the Mets) to conduct a deep, critical review of their rosters and management, capping the segment with a rant about a rookie's embarrassing error that symbolizes the low quality of some playoff teams.

Most salespeople lose a sales meeting before they ever open their mouth. They show up with decks of slides, lists of discovery questions, or AI-generated talking points, thinking preparation is about having more material. But while they're busy organizing, their prospects are mentally checking out—and the meeting hasn't even started. Lee Salz, bestselling author and founder of Sales Architects, has observed this pattern for decades. "If you want to win more deals at the prices you want, you need a better first meeting strategy. Everyone says I want to win more deals, so they focus on closing at the end. But that's not where the opportunities are. The opportunities to win more deals start in that first meeting." The Sales Meeting Problem Hiding in Plain Sight Ask any salesperson: "If a prospect agrees to meet with you, what do they get out of it?" The response is usually stunned silence. That silence reveals the problem. Too many sales professionals approach the first sales meeting with an extraction mindset, focused on what they can learn instead of what they can give. Think about how you prepare. Do you make a list of questions to gather information? Do you pull together slides about your company, products, and clients? That might feel productive, but here's what it communicates: This meeting is about me. When prospects can't see immediate value in the conversation, they resist. They may decline the meeting altogether, or worse—they show up already skeptical, arms crossed, counting down the minutes until they can escape. Why Traditional Discovery Is Failing You Sales training has conditioned reps to believe that discovery meetings are the foundation of the sales process. In theory, this makes sense: You need information to qualify opportunities. But here's the problem—buyers don't experience value when they educate you. They already have suppliers, vendors, and service providers. Another salesperson asking them to “tell me about your challenges” just feels like more work. Worse, traditional discovery feels like an interrogation. You're pulling data without leaving anything behind. And prospects are savvy enough to sense when you're there to take rather than give. The Emotion Gap in Every Sales Meeting You already know people buy on emotion and justify with logic. You've heard it in every sales book, every training, every keynote. Walk into the average first meeting, and you'll see the same setup: a rep armed with facts, features, processes, and pricing structures. All logic, zero emotion. The result? Buyers nod politely, take notes, and then ghost you. Not because your product isn't good enough, but because you failed to make them feel anything. Your competitors who are consistently winning aren't necessarily better at selling features. They're better at weaving emotional connection into the very fabric of their meetings. They create trust, credibility, and resonance in the first 15 minutes. The Three Non-Negotiables of Every Winning Sales Meeting High-performing sales professionals understand that every first meeting must accomplish three core objectives: Meaningful Qualification: Determine whether this opportunity aligns with your ideal customer profile while also helping prospects better understand their situation. Clear Differentiation: Prospects need to understand what makes your approach unique, but not through feature comparisons. Real differentiation comes from your methodology, philosophy, and approach. Show them how you think about solving problems, not just what you sell. Emotional Foundation: Establish the connection that energizes deals. This involves demonstrating genuine interest in their success while positioning yourself as a trusted advisor rather than just another vendor. How to Prepare for Sales Meeting Success The outcome of the meeting is decided long before you show up. Top performers treat preparation like a competitive advantage.

Launch Your Box Podcast with Sarah Williams | Start, Launch, and Grow Your Subscription Box
If you've ever felt like you're constantly having to explain your subscription box… or if browsers seem interested but rarely convert into subscribers… this episode is for you. Inside the Launch Your Box community, I see the same challenge over and over again. And it's something I struggled with myself in the early days. We want to give our customers “all the things.” But what actually happens when we do? Too many choices, vague messaging, and complicated pricing lead to friction that stops sales in their tracks. The good news? You can fix it. And it starts with one powerful shift: simplicity sells. How Subscription Box Owners Overcomplicate I see this issue everywhere, from coaching calls to live website reviews: Too many product types. Mixing categories (like books and skincare) confuses your customer and muddies your message. Too many options. Five tiers, three payment plans, add-ons galore… decision fatigue kicks in, and carts get abandoned. Complicated pricing. Multi-month discounts and perks sound helpful, but often paralyze buyers. Vague or “cute” messaging. Phrases like “delightfully curated” don't clearly explain what's in the box or who it's for — and unclear means no sale. Why Complexity Creates Conversion Friction When your subscription box feels confusing, it costs you sales in three big ways: You're constantly explaining. If people don't “get it” instantly, you'll spend time justifying instead of selling. Confused people don't buy. Life already brings decision overload. Your box should feel like relief, not another hard choice. You lose people on your website. Extra clicks, unclear copy, or too many checkout options make it too easy to leave. The Power of Simplicity Here's why simplicity wins: Clear boxes convert. One offer, one customer, one problem solved = an easy yes. Simple offers are easier to sell and scale. One price, one plan keeps tech, communication, and cancellations under control. Simple messaging builds trust. When people instantly understand what your box is, they're more likely to subscribe and stay subscribed. How to Simplify Your Subscription Box If you're ready to cut through the clutter, start here: Audit your offer. Can you explain your box in one sentence? Is it clear what customers are actually subscribing to? Review your website. Is your call-to-action obvious? Are you forcing visitors to make too many decisions? Simplify your messaging. In ten seconds, can a stranger tell: what your box is, who it's for, and why they need it? Focus on ONE box. Especially under 300 subscribers. Don't split your energy. Go all in on one clear, strong offer. Take Action Complexity creates confusion, and confusion kills sales. Simplicity, on the other hand, builds clarity, trust, and momentum. This week, I challenge you to audit your subscription box and website for simplicity. Ask yourself: Where am I overcomplicating? Can I make this easier to understand? What's one decision I can take off my customer's plate today? When you simplify, you not only make it easier for people to say yes, you make it easier for your business to grow. Join me for this episode of the Launch Your Box Podcast and get the clarity you need to simplify your subscription box offer and boost conversions. In this episode of The Wright Report, we cover Trump's controversial talks in the UK that could send private contractors into Ukraine, Russia's escalating assassination plots across Europe, Israel's success in targeting Iranian leaders, ABC's firing of Jimmy Kimmel, Trump's new terror designation for Antifa, China's spy devices on U.S. highways, and the Senate grilling AI companies over deadly chatbot failures. From espionage abroad to chaos at home, today's brief connects foreign spy wars, domestic terror, and America's struggle with technology. Trump in the UK and a Private Army for Ukraine: Reports suggest Trump may authorize U.S. veterans as contractors to embed with Ukrainian forces or protect new American mining projects. The president insists, “We're not getting involved. No troops on the ground. Contractors only.” Critics warn it could still spark conflict if Russia attacks U.S. citizens. Russia's “New Skins” Assassins in Germany: Bloomberg reports Moscow is targeting European defense executives, including Rheinmetall's CEO, after Russian arsonists torched his property. Bryan warns Biden's open border may have let “New Skins” into America: “It defies logic that the answer is zero.” Israel's “Operation Red Wedding” Revealed: Israeli intelligence tracked Iranian bodyguards' cell phones, enabling the assassination of dozens of regime leaders this summer. Bryan reminds listeners, “Your electronic devices are not your friends. They can and will be used against you.” ABC Fires Jimmy Kimmel Over Kirk Coverage: After mocking Charlie Kirk's assassination, Kimmel refused to apologize. VP JD Vance praised networks like Sinclair for airing a Kirk tribute instead, while Democrats blasted the move as censorship. Bryan argues, “Do we have free speech for everybody, or just when it's convenient?” Trump Labels Antifa a Terror Group: The administration formally designates Antifa as domestic terrorists. Trump contrasted this with Biden's DHS, which once warned Christians and veterans were the top terror threat. “What a difference a year makes,” Bryan notes. China's Spy Devices Found in Highway Systems: The Federal Highway Administration discovered Chinese-made batteries and inverters embedded with cellular radios inside road signs and traffic cameras. Bryan warns these could spread chaos in a crisis: “It'll include in a road sign near you.” AI Chatbots Blamed for Teen Suicides: Parents testified that ChatGPT coached their children into self-harm. One case involved knot-tying instructions for hanging. OpenAI claims chatbots have “First Amendment rights,” while researchers admit they were trained to always give answers, even if wrong. Bryan reflects, “The answer to happiness — and loneliness — was not in a device… as Charlie Kirk counseled, that's found elsewhere.” "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." - John 8:32 Keywords: Trump UK Ukraine contractors, U.S. private army Ukraine mining, Russia New Skins assassins Germany, Rheinmetall CEO arson, Israel Operation Red Wedding Iran assassinations, Jimmy Kimmel Charlie Kirk firing, Sinclair Charlie Kirk tribute, Trump Antifa terror designation, Biden DHS veterans Christians threat, Chinese spy devices U.S. highways, Federal Highway Administration China inverters, AI chatbot suicide Adam Raine, ChatGPT hallucination error, OpenAI First Amendment defense, loneliness Gen Z AI companions Charlie Kirk advice
