Every week we take on the hottest topics to debate while enjoying fine whiskies.
This week we find out the world is ending and we debate what vehicle is the best for a bugout. A modified Jeep Gladiator Rubicon or a stock Kia Sorento. If we had to drive 600 miles to the Jack Daniels Distillery in Tennessee what would be the best option and why? We enjoy a bottle of Jack Daniels Single Barrel Select Tennessee whiskey. www.theneomag.com
There are a lot of things you should consider before customizing your guns. Especially your daily carry gun. Slide cuts, frame stippling, barrel porting, trigger jobs are all popular modifications. But do they belong on your carry gun? Sazerac Rye whiskey has a long and interesting history. This week we open a bottle and will give you our thoughts! www.theneomag.com www.instagram.com/theneomag
This week we discuss the pros and cons of pistol and rifle rounds out of short barrel AR15. With the popularity of AR pistols this is a decision a lot of people have to research and decide on. Dusty takes the side that rounds like 9mm have benefits over rifle rounds. Graig argues that if you're going to build an AR, it should be a rifle caliber. We also open a bottle of Eagle Rare Kentucky bourbon. This is a really solid bourbon and one you should absolutely purchase if you see it on the shelves. www.theneomag.com www.instagram.com/theneomag
The Biden administration is continually looking to ban pistol braces. Should you register as an SBR and avoid the ATF continually changing its mind and any possible legislation? Or should you stay under the radar as long as possible and put a pistol brace on your pistol length AR? We also open a bottle of Angels Envy Bourbon. Angels Envy is one of my all time favorite whiskeys. Aging in port casks really brings out a flavor profile that makes it stand out from many others. www.theneomag.com www.etsy.com/shop/LastCutCrystal
This week we take on the debate of carrying a spare magazine. Is it silly to carry extra ammo and take up room on your body? Or is it a simple way to make sure that you are prepared for the worst case scenario? We also drink some Sexton Irish Whiskey for St Patricks day! www.theneomag.com
This week we discuss conceal carry license vs constitutional carry. Does a CCL encroach on our freedoms? Is Constitutional carry too dangerous? Dusty takes the side for CCL saying we need a system that educates people who are going to carry. Graig sides with Constitutional carry saying freedom of the second amendment is all we need to carry concealed. We also open a bottle of James E Pepper 1776 to drink. This is the oldest whiskey recipe in Kentucky dating all the way to the Revolutionary War. It's a great whiskey worth checking out.
This week we discuss off body carry. Dusty argues that it's okay to not have your firearm on your body at all times while Graig insists that it's careless. We enjoy some Jefferson Small Batch Whiskey bourbon and discuss some of the innovative ideas coming out of the Jefferson Distillery. There has been a lot of debate over appendix conceal carry vs. hip conceal carry. Is appendix carry dangerous? Is hip carry too slow and vulnerable? Dusty takes the side that appendix carry is the best way to conceal carry because its faster. Graig says hip carry is better because its safer. What do you think? We also open a bottle of Bib & Tucker 6 year bourbon. This Whiskey is a really good option that in Ohio is easy to find and sells at a decent price. This week we look at the pros and cons of fixed blade carry vs folding blade. There are a lot of benefits of a folding blade for every day carry (EDC) with a folding blade. But there are a lot of tactical issues with a fighting folding blade. Dusty sides with carrying a folding blade and says fixed blades have no place in EDC. Graig sides with carrying a fixed blade because it's much more dependable as there is less to go wrong. Let us know what you think. Please subscribe and leave us a review!
