Would you pay thousands more for a new car just to avoid the traditional dealership experience?Carvana is now selling brand-new Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicles, and some buyers are paying significantly more for them than they would at competing dealerships. Yet Carvana is moving those cars at a staggering rate.In this episode, The Car Chick looks at why Carvana's new-car experiment is working, why today's consumers aren't necessarily “tech savvy” but tech normal, and why dealerships have digitized car buying without really changing the sales process.Plus, learn how to take control of your own car purchase and create a faster, lower-stress buying experience without necessarily paying thousands more for the privilege. In this episode:Why Carvana is getting into the new-car businessWhy buyers are willingly paying more for convenienceThe difference between digitizing car buying and actually changing the processHow Carvana can generate more than $7,000 in gross profit per retail vehicleHow to negotiate, finance and even arrange delivery without spending hours at the dealershipHow to decide what convenience is really worth to youYou can view a full list of resources and episode transcripts here. In this week's episode of BARRACKS TALK from DV Radio: The DV Radio Crew dives into the raw, gritty reality of military spouse life, which is less of a walk in the park and more like a sprint through Jurassic Park without a Jeep or a gun. The conversation tackles the heavy, unvarnished truth of veteran and spouse mental health, confronting the tragic reality of family suicide, and the critical need for direct, boots-on-the-ground action. To wrap up the chaos, we break down upcoming charity efforts (and events!) including the softball classic, pinup calendar, and holiday care packages for our deployed troops. #VeteranMentalHealth #MilitarySpouses #GoldStarFamilies #VeteranHumor #SupportOurTroops #EndVeteranSuicide #HomefrontHeroes #MilitaryLife #ActionOverAwareness #CarePackages #MilitaryMarriage #VeteranSupport #PinupMorale #SpouseSupport #BehindTheUniform #DVRadio - LINKS MENTIONED - Juatai Signature Collet Handle Adapter https://bestwoodtools.store.turbify.net/jusicohaad.html - Win Betsy Ross's Hand-sewn Blanket! https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/betsy-ross-blanket-raffle-at-celebrity-softball-classic--2026 - Fight The War Within FightTheWarWithin.org - Grab Your DV Radio Merch! https://bit.ly/DVR-StreamLabs-Merch - Respawn Finance + Free Budgeting App https://respawnfinance.com/ - Star Spangled Brewing Co. In 2020, 16-year-old Antonio Mays Jr. traveled to Seattle's Capitol Hill Occupied Protest zone, a several block encampment that demonstrators declared to be a police-free area. But one night, Mays was shot to death in a stolen Jeep while protestors and journalists livestreamed the aftermath. Protestors said the group's internal security forces shot in self-defense, while video shows someone approaching the stopped Jeep and firing at close range. The conflicting narratives have muddied the truth about that night, and Mays's shooter remains unidentified. From NPR's “Embedded,” KUOW, and The Seattle Times comes the podcast “We Keep Us Safe.” A team of reporters sifts through the video and re-interview witnesses to explore why a teen was killed and another left with brain damage. The team uncovers new evidence, identifies potential suspects in the shooting of Antonio Mays Jr, and asks why justice at a justice-reform demonstration remains elusive. OUR SPOILER-FREE REVIEWS OF "WE KEEP US SAFE" BEGIN IN THE FINAL 13 MINUTES OF THE EPISODE. In Crime of the Week: expired! The gearhead goons' annual getogether at JFS4 went off relatively hitchless - so much 'froading, so much food and a seriously good hangout at Eagle's Nest in Marble (got to have a driveway that's four-by only). From classic trails like the famously lethal Schofield Road, multipersonalitied Pearl Pass, bottled up Gunsite Road, expansive Montezuma Basin, unappreciated Sheep Mountain, Lead King and Crystal Mill (get in there), we shoved everything from ultra-capable trail buggies to an Ineos Grenadier with the radar signature of the Pentagon through (almost) all of them (and you can too!). ...And because we did everything and then some in trailed-out 4Runners and a Jeep, you probably can too - advocate for your access and your right to roam. More info in this extended-play look over the shoulder: BushDucks (has details), Admiral Rickover (knows stuff), community Marble (get some), vintage truck self-adjustment (because third-gen 4Runner), geniuses from Hughes to Musk, Ayatollahs from San Diego, plus Fatso Jetson, Kyuss, Earthlings, Truckfighters and Corrosion of Conformity.

In March 2000, a 23-year-old from North Carolina left a note about Jack Kerouac, packed her Jeep, and drove west toward a mountain she'd only read about – and what searchers found in the woods nine days later still has no explanation.EPISODE BLOG PAGE (includes sources): https://weirddarkness.com/LeahRobertsREAD or DOWNLOAD the full transcript of this episode: https://weirddarkness.tiny.us/y6mnafrdFEATURED STORIES IN THIS EPISODE: If you have information regarding Leah Roberts's disappearance, contact the Whatcom County Sheriff's Office at 360-778-6600 or the Whatcom Communication Dispatch Center at 360-676-6711. A free-spirited young woman set off on a soul-searching road trip inspired by Jack Kerouac — but what she left behind in the wilderness was a wrecked Jeep, a haunting mystery, and no trace of herself. What happened to Leah Roberts? (Leah Roberts' Last Road Trip) *** In the tropical beauty of Antigua, a chilling mystery unfolds as locals continue to vanish without a trace — leaving a trail of grief, fear, and dark speculation. (The Mystery of Antigua's Missing People) *** Would you still eat a special love-attracting cake if you knew it was covered in someone's sweat from their armpits and... everywhere else? (The Horrifying History of Love Potions) *** As if death isn't unnerving as it is, science is now suggesting that you might still be conscious after death — aware your body has failed, but powerless to escape the darkness. (We Might Know We're Dead When We Die) *** Some believe doppelgängers are omens of death – and some found out personally. (Haunted By Your Own Ghost) *** Biblical legend, Cold War espionage, and decades of silence — the hunt for Noah's Ark might be stranger than fiction… and it includes the CIA. This past April at Blue Spirit Retreat Center in Nosara Costa Rica, I guided Dr. Zach Bush through a Love Retrieval in front of 110 people who were told to close their eyes and feel with Zach as he touched some of the deepest parts of his soul. It was one of the most raw, real, intimate group experiences I have ever been part of.You won't see that session on this episode. What you'll hear is Zach recapping it in his own words, days later, still marinating in the revelations that happened. What started as a conversation about why what we give never seems to be received didn't stay there. We revisited memories from nineteen where he's driving a Jeep through Colorado to his girlfriend's house, inside a memory so compressed he hadn't been able to tell it in years, and suddenly he can smell the air. Then he's four, and two stories arrive at once, woven together.Zach was able to see the structure holding all of his stories together. One belief he had carried into every relationship with every woman in his life, through two marriages, going back to his mother. "The love I have to give is not wanted." He describes it as holding a small pearl, exquisite and shining, spending a lifetime trying to hand it to people while they backed away. And then something happens that Zach calls the most important reveal of his life. What you'll learn on this episode: Humans are made of stories, not cells Compressed emotional memory and what it does to a body over decades Why telling a story and being witnessed in one are different things How language became a prison of abstraction Grandparents as master witnesses and hat we lost when family structures fell awayLearning to give yourself the love you're so quick to give awayBecoming "multi-perspectival" and awakening your inner healerWhat happens to biology when a story is witnessed in a field of safetyThis is a man who spent four years in hospice, sitting with eighty people a week at the threshold of death. On this episode he describes what it was like to be the one being seen. When we unlock the power of the witness, when we learn to see the beauty in another, when we embrace the totality of our own story and remember what it means to be human, we return to our innate capacity for healing, liberation, and love.I hope you enjoy this episode.EXPERIENCE THIS FOR YOURSELFGet started at https://liberate.love/begin?zachThe Love Map is a 45-minute guided conversation you can do from the privacy of your own home. Virgil, our AI guide, has been trained on thousands of live sessions, and maps your whole story with you to uncover the underlying geometry underneath your patterns. The superstructure holding your stories in place, repeating in your relationships, in your career, in your body, in every place you have ever wondered "why this keeps happening to me."The Love Retrieval is where the Love Map becomes an experience: a live, gently guided 90-minute session with Raj or Natalie to restore internal safety, trust, and love. Through our signature process, you revisit the moments where parts of your soul fragmented in order to stay safe. In this profound re-meeting, the younger you is met with restorative witnessing, and your nervous system learns it's safe to let go of the old story. Is the Mystery Jeep Hiding a Bigger Secret? Plus an Unexpected Glimpse Into the Future What would you do if a Jeep sat abandoned outside your house for nine months... and the clues inside only made the mystery stranger? On this episode of The JB and Sandy Show, JB launches a full-blown neighborhood investigation after spotting a Jeep that hasn't moved in months. Expired tags, a visible credit card, a keyboard in the backseat, and a possible connection to a well-known Austin musician have the entire crew asking the same question: What really happened here? Listeners jump into the conversation as JB and Sandy try to connect the dots and solve a mystery that feels straight out of a detective series. Then, Sandy and Tricia get an unexpected look at what life might be like when their daughter heads off to college. After attending senior-year Meet the Teacher Night, the couple finds themselves having breakfast for dinner at an almost-empty IHOP, leading to hilarious and surprisingly heartfelt reflections about parenting, growing older, and what comes next. One memorable moment comes when Tricia realizes, "This is a glimpse into our future," setting off a funny and relatable discussion that every parent will recognize. The show also celebrates a high school football team that finally snapped a staggering 101-game losing streak, proving that perseverance can pay off even after more than a decade of disappointment. Plus, listeners share insider industry secrets, including insurance advice that had everyone nodding along. One standout quote that deserves a place on a T-shirt: "Not my job to do your job." You'll also hear: A listener's enthusiastic review of the new JB and Sandy era The mystery surrounding the abandoned Jeep and the hunt for answers Funny family moments from senior-year school events Thoughts on empty-nest life and breakfast-for-dinner adventures An inspiring underdog sports story The Last Laugh featuring the struggles of being married to a morning person From neighborhood mysteries to family milestones and plenty of laughs along the way, this episode delivers the perfect mix of curiosity, heart, and humor. Enjoying the show? Subscribe, leave a review, and share this episode with your friends. You never know who might help solve the mystery Jeep case!

Jimmy and Tyler dig into a stack of public lands updates in this week’s Monday episode — the kind of episode where you walk away actually understanding the legal mechanics behind the headlines, instead of just reacting to them. The Roadless Rule kicks things off, and it’s more interesting than it sounds. Roads through national forest and BLM land aren’t just recreation access — they’re wildfire infrastructure. Jimmy and Tyler talk through the Caldor Fire, where popular Sierra OHV routes served as fire lines and ingress for hotshot crews, and the broader ecological argument that decades of total fire suppression (no controlled burns, no small fires clearing brush) is exactly why mega-fires have gotten so much worse. The Roadless Rule — which has blocked any new road construction and forced a steady decline in usable routes — is now being reconsidered, with agencies reviewing historical road inventories to determine what could reopen for fire management purposes. It’s currently open for public comment, and Blue Ribbon Coalition has a tool on their site that maps your zip code to your legislators for submitting comments directly. Make a public comment on the Roadless Rule: https://blueribboncoalition.org/roadless-rule-draft-eis-comment/ From there: an update on the Big Bend National Park border wall project in Texas — over $7 billion across five sections, built with no-bid contracts, cutting a new road directly next to an existing one, and initially bypassing NEPA environmental review and public comment entirely. The good news: sustained public pressure has forced a pause on construction while it undergoes review. Also covered: why picking up a rock on public land is technically a federal offense (it’s classified as mining), the ongoing accessibility angle of road closures for wheelchair users and other visitors who can’t hike miles in on foot, and the California OHV permit saga — a coalition-negotiated agreement that got rewritten by the legislative committee and failed its vote, leaving the whole permit effort dead for now. The back half covers two related legal patterns worth knowing: newly released Yellowstone grizzly bear studies show OHV use has never caused a single recorded grizzly death — despite that exact justification being used to close routes — and Jimmy and Tyler connect the dots to the nearly identical legal language used to justify closures at Oceano Dunes (snowy plover), the Western Mojave (desert tortoise), and now the Oregon Dunes (western marmot), in each case without a definitive study proving OHV is actually the cause of death. Then a full breakdown of Wilderness Study Areas — land that’s been managed as de facto wilderness for decades without ever being formally designated, with no legal deadline forcing a decision either way — and Blue Ribbon Coalition’s push to get courts to force a timeline. Jeep Talk Show – Tragic Oregon Jeep Discovery, California's Tire Ban (2029/2033), Shopping Cart Roundtable & More Well hey Jeepers, welcome back to another jam-packed episode of the Jeep Talk Show with Tony and Josh. We open on a somber note with the recent discovery of a crashed 2005 red Jeep Wrangler off Highway 6 in Oregon's Tillamook area. Loggers/ODF personnel found the vehicle (linked to a September 2025 missing persons case out of Beaverton) along with skeletal remains believed to be those of Eddie Hair (Hare) and Scott Smith, both in their late 60s. Official identification is pending (dental records/personal effects), but the registration and circumstances point strongly to the two men who never returned from an outdoor/wheeling trip. We discuss the tragic accident angle, the "red Jeep curse" running joke since 2020, and some classic banter about James Dean and why red Jeeps seem to stick in people's memories. Then we dive deep into California's brand-new Replacement Tire Efficiency Program (approved by the CEC in mid-August 2026). Starting with tires manufactured on or after January 1, 2029, replacement passenger and light-truck tires sold in California must meet a maximum rolling resistance of roughly 9.0–9.1 N/kN (with a minimum wet-grip requirement). Phase 2 tightens it further to about 7.1–7.2 N/kN beginning January 1, 2033. Industry estimates suggest this could eliminate ~70% of current tire models from California shelves. Listener voicemails follow (including DR in Utah checking in after a long absence and sharing updates on the Jeep Scrambler/IFS talk plus personal notes, and Nicky G with a string of classic dad jokes). Then it's Round Table time: When (and why) do you put the shopping cart/basket/buggy back? Tony fires off a rant about free labor and shaming stickers; the crew (Glenn, John Lee, Rick, Bob, Travis and others) share honest takes ranging from "always, respect/karma/old-school raising" to "only if it's right next to me—I'm not working for the store." Robots, Walmart in-home delivery, and future trail-side parts robots even make an appearance. We close the "F*CK You, You F*CK" segment with a heated takedown of drivers who come to a near-complete stop to turn into a strip-mall, Burger King, or driveway—white-knuckle, wedding-cake-in-the-trunk style. Pit maneuvers and cow-catcher fantasies ensue. Welcome to the Jeep Life Podcast! In this episode of the Jeep Life Podcast, we're putting the spotlight on one of the most important systems on your Jeep: the brakes. We break down how the entire braking system works, from the brake pedal, master cylinder, and brake booster to the calipers, pads, rotors, brake lines, and fluid that bring everything to a stop. We'll talk about when brake pads should be replaced, what to look for when inspecting rotors and brake hoses, why brake fluid maintenance matters, and why lubricating caliper slide pins can make a big difference. We'll also get into the right way to bed in new pads and the importance of properly torqueing your lug nuts after brake work. Finally, we'll tackle some common upgrades, including slotted vs. drilled rotors, ceramic vs. semi-metallic pads, stainless steel brake lines, and big brake kits. Whether you're building a trail Jeep, daily driving your Wrangler, or just want to understand what's happening every time you hit the pedal, this episode is your crash course in stopping power!Tag us in your IG feed or FB. My wife owed $38,000 on her Jeep at 7% interest. I pulled the full amount out of a whole life insurance policy, paid the bank in full, got the title, and now we set our own repayment terms. The best part? I'm still earning interest and a dividend on that money even though I borrowed it. That's called uninterrupted interest, and it's the reason my wife and I invest every dollar into these policies and nothing into 401(k)s, IRAs, or the stock market. In this episode, I walk through a real whole life insurance illustration from start to finish. $5,000 a year, age 30, and I show you exactly what happens to your money over 10, 20, 40, and 70 years. How the cash value builds. How the dividend grows every single year. How the death benefit protects your family tax-free. And how you can use this policy as your own personal banking system to pay off vehicles, fund a business, handle emergencies, and build tax-free retirement income. We started with one $5,000 policy funded by our annual calf check. Today we invest over $20,000 a year across multiple policies for our entire family. We've used them to pay off two vehicles, buy a camper, fund business moves, and we're about to pay off a horse trailer next. This is not for everyone. If you lack discipline or refuse to learn how it works, it's a terrible investment. But if you're willing to study it and execute, it will serve you and your family for generations.Want to see your own illustration? Call 435-557-3170

The plan hasn’t been enforced yet — that’s the only reason anyone’s still walking around out there without a permit. Once it is, over 775,000 acres go non-motorized and non-mechanized, permanently, with no path to ever reopen them. Mountain bikes included. Motorized groups get capped at 24 vehicles per route per day before you need a federal permit. Hunters can’t retrieve game or gather firewood off the road by any mechanized means. Hikers can get locked to designated trails only, dispersed camping gets restricted to numbered sites, dogs need to be leashed everywhere, and rock climbers can’t place a new bolt without commission approval. One sentence in the plan — Paragraph 14 — is written broadly enough to prohibit basically anything not yet invented that someone decides is “inconsistent” with protecting the monument. We also get into the two-tier trick land management plans use to delay the real fight: the big decisions get locked in years before anyone announces them, so by the time you actually feel the restriction, it’s framed as “just following the existing plan” instead of a new decision anyone has to defend. And we cover the same legal playbook now showing up at Oregon Dunes, after already being used to shrink Oceano Dunes by up to 80%. If you care about keeping public land open — hiking, biking, wheeling, hunting, camping, all of it — this is the episode to actually understand what’s at stake instead of just reacting to a headline. What if the problems you expect are the ones your mind keeps helping you find? In this episode, Dr. Tarryn MacCarthy presents to high-achieving healthcare professionals and women in dentistry who feel tired of always expecting the next problem. She shares how our thoughts, words, and beliefs can shape what we notice each day. When you expect poor team support, stress, or bad luck, your brain may keep finding proof that those things are true. Dr. Tarryn explains the reticular activating system, the brain's filter that helps us notice what matters to us. She calls this the “orange Jeep experiment.” When you look for something, you start seeing more of it.For dentists and healthcare leaders, this can change how you see your team, patients, business, and support system. Instead of forcing a big mindset change overnight, Dr. Tarryn encourages small shifts. Welcome back to the Jeep Talk Show! In this episode, Tony sits down with Tom Zielinski — lifelong off-roader, event creator and operator, Tread Lightly! board member, former racer, and one of the most connected people in the off-road and automotive event world. Tom shares stories from the "alleged" early days of sneaking into gravel pits, the motivation behind serving on the Tread Lightly board, why he still rides the bumper a little too close on the trail, and how Detroit traffic and Houston Beltway driving shaped his need for speed. They talk V8 Gladiator dreams, meeting at Easter Jeep Safari, the magic (and occasional chaos) of Moab, and why new people at EJS come away wide-eyed. Tom also opens up about appearing on the Automotive Advantage podcast with Dr. Jamie Meyer and Justin Chesler, how he builds real industry relationships ("be in the mix every day, don't be an idiot, follow through"), the origin story of his events (born from dealership sponsorship frustration and a bit of youthful guilt), and the importance of Off-Road 101 education. Key Highlights Tom's path from power-sports dealerships and mentors to creating major events Why Holly Oaks works so well and how new Jeepers become "one of us" Tread Lightly, trail stewardship, and the difference between appropriate "shenanigans" and damaging public lands The heartwarming side of guiding first-timers and industry newcomers at Moab and 4Fest Real talk on building contacts, saying yes (sometimes too often), and staying behind the curtain while delivering **Timestamps 00:00 Introducing Tom Zelensky and His Off‑Road Journey 00:52 – Trail Etiquette: Slow Down and Enjoy the Ride 01:38 – Houston Beltways: Toll Roads and Unrestricted Speed 02:32 – From Detroit Trucks to Jeeps: Embracing Speed 03:10 – TRX Launch and Dreaming of a V8 Jeep 03:46 – Rumors of a Hemi‑Powered Gladiator 04:10 – Connecting at EJS: Meeting Tom and New Friends 04:46 – Moab Adventures and Jeep Overload 06:13 – First‑Timer Experiences and Detroit Four Fest Highlights 07:22 – Crowd Perceptions at Easter Jeep Safari 07:55 – Community Dynamics and Curmudgeons at Off‑Road Events 09:19 – Networking at EJS and Introducing the Automotive Advantage Podcast 11:39 – Overview of the Automotive Advantage Podcast and Its Hosts 13:02 – Recap of the Automotive Advantage Interview and Upcoming Projects 14:28 – The "Magic" of Networking and Staying in the Mix 17:05 – Half‑Day Work Ethic and the Importance of Follow‑Through 17:52 – Motivation Behind Events, Business Insights, and Off‑Road Education 22:02 – How Our Off‑Road Events Were Born: From Idea to Execution 25:14 – Adventure Spirit, Off‑Road Parks, and Public Lands Ethics 27:58 – Educating Off‑Roaders and Preserving Trail Access 29:27 – Advocacy for Public Lands and Shared Responsibility 31:05 – Inclusivity and Respect for All Recreational Activities 31:42 – Upcoming September Events: Cars at the Station and Detroit Four Fest 33:45 – One‑Zero‑One Off‑Road Classes and Registration Details 37:11 – Engaging New Off‑Roaders: Locker Demonstration and Learning Moment 39:38 – FOURFEST at Holly Oaks: Suburban Off‑Road Park and International Attendance 41:02 – Jim Morrison, Jeep Leadership and Bob's Health Update 43:46 – Supporting Tread Lightly: Trail Clean‑Ups and Community Service 44:46 – Toledo Jeep Fest Plans and Inflatable Camper Warning 45:41 – Final Thoughts, Trail Encouragement, and New Friendships 46:23 – Video Stabilization and Brief Commentary 46:51 – Legal Disclaimer and Liability Notice Links Detroit 4Fest / registration: https://4festevents.com Tread Lightly!: https://treadlightly.org Jeep Talk Show: https://jeeptalkshow.com Support the show, hit the trails responsibly, and we'll see you out there (or at Holly Oaks in September)! Novelist, veteran screenwriter, and longtime Blue Bloods showrunner Kevin Wade spoke with us about the challenges of transitioning across writing mediums, storytelling principles, and book two of his debut crime series, ONE GOOD EYE. Kevin Wade is the Golden Globe and the Writers Guild of America nominated screenwriter of movies including the seven-time Oscar nominated comedy Working Girl (1988), True Colors (1991) starring John Cusack and James Spader, the Tom Selleck comedy Mr. Baseball (1992), Ivan Reitman's Junior (1994), the epic romance Meet Joe Black (1998), and the rom-com Maid in Manhattan (2002). His latest release is the follow-up to his debut crime novel Johnny Careless, a book author John Sanford called a “fast-moving classic crime novel,” and that was shortlisted for the Edgar Best First Novel Award. One Good Eye is the second in the Police Chief Jeep Mullane series and Library Journal said of the author, “Wade delivers another compelling literary mystery. **Jeep Talk Show – Tire Tread Depth Reality Check + How to Properly Tow Your Jeep (XJ, JK, JL, JT & Gladiator)** Tony and Josh are back with another no-BS episode. We start by correcting the record on tire tread depth after some listener pushback, then dig deep into the right (and wrong) ways to tow a Jeep so you don't melt your transfer case or destroy your drivetrain. After that Tony shows off a pile of new website tools he's built for the community — Jeep of the Week, networked show timer, JTS Honor Badge generator, live chat, Best Of archive, Discord discount codes, and more. ### Timestamps 00:00 Intro Banter and Show Opening 00:27 Tire Tread Depth Standards and Safety Discussion 05:17 Towing an XJ Jeep: Methods and Considerations 11:13 Flat Towing Options for Various Jeep Models 12:30 Setting Transfer Case and Transmission for Safe Towing 14:47 Essential Pre‑Tow Checks: Steering, Parking Brake, and Lockers 15:40 Foot Brake and Driver Position Safety Tips 16:18 Flat‑Towing Setup: Parking Brake, Lockers, and Dolly Use 18:27 Hybrid Towing Options and Cost Considerations 19:56 Gladiator Towing Cherokee: Capacity and Gear Planning 20:40 Show Timer Integration and Remote Recording Setup 22:06 Show Timer Feature Overview and Segment Selection 23:15 Launch of "Jeep of the Week" Feature and Community Engagement 26:03 Jeep of the Week with Video Voicemail: Listener Participation 27:38 Reviving the "You Bought and What?" The widely recommended replacement point for everyday/wet driving is **4/32"**. Many shops and safety groups push 5–6/32" for trucks, SUVs, and wet/snow climates. - Safest way to tow any Jeep (TJ/YJ/JK/JL/JT/Gladiator): all four wheels off the ground (flatbed or wheel-lift + front dolly). - Minimum setup if you must two-wheel tow: transfer case in Neutral, automatic transmission in Park (or manual in gear), steering unlocked, parking brake off, lockers unlocked. For longer distances, remove driveshafts. - Atlas transfer cases have distance limits when flat-towed — pull the shafts if you're going far. ### Calls to Action Submit your ride for **Jeep of the Week**: jeeptalkshow.com (Listener Jeeps link in the top menu) Join the Discord & grab discount codes: jeeptalkshow.com/discord (type `/discount`) Best Of archive (top 50 episodes ranked by downloads): on the website Create your own JTS Honor Badge and drop it in the gallery Leave a 5-star rating & review on YouTube, Spotify, or your podcast app Questions or episode ideas? jeeptalkshow.com/contact Support the show on Patreon for exclusive perks: jeeptalkshow.com/contact --- **Support the Show & Shop Jeep Gear** Thank you for watching and listening! Caldwell's Jarred “Box” Grove is back on Gun Talk Nation for a wide-ranging conversation with Ryan Gresham — starting with the gun room he's building into his new house (nearly a quarter of the square footage, with a 100-yard range off the back porch) and the real-world tradeoffs of designing a home around a serious collection. From there they get into Box's manufacturer's FFL and SOT, what it actually takes to deal in firearms and full-auto post samples the right way, and why the paperwork discipline matters as much as anything else in that world. The conversation also covers Box's other hobby, off-roading and Jeep builds, and how it compares to guns as a money pit. He walks through some of the more unusual firearms he's built over the years, and closes out talking about what's new at Caldwell — including the Claycopter and UFO Clays, and how they're getting more families and kids into clay shooting.
