The electoral commission, IEC in Limpopo, is conducting by-election at ward 13, Seshego, near Polokwane. The provincial electoral officer, Nkaro Mateta, says the voting stations opened at seven in the morning and will close at nine in the evening. The ward became vacant after an EFF councillor was removed from the Polokwane municipal council due to misconduct. For the first time in the province, the SACP has fielded a candidate to contest against the alliance partner, ANC. The ward is being contested by EFF, ANC, SACP, Labour Party and All Citizens Party, ACP. Here's IEC's Mateta. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to SABC reporter in Limpopo, Avhapfani Munyai.

The LCP I find to be a miserable thing to shoot.  Don't like it.  Specialized for when anything else is too big. And I can't wait till they get fully switched to the new format and resume releasing episodes again. I currently have an Othais and Mae sized hole in my heart. Lancaster 4 barrel  This one is just neat, a neat mechanism and a neat form factor. Frommer Stop in 32acp(frommer) This one is one of favorite guns of all time. Who wouldn't love a small, long recoil pistol. Calico M100 pistol. Lastly is  ‘Space Balls: The gun'  Honestly I want this because I love Mel Brooks movies and  also because I want to have something terrible to point at whenever someone asks me what I spent my winnings on. Just for the sheer pleasure that I would get from the other person's confusion.   P.S. thank yall, I really enjoy y'all's podcast. In the June All In For Citrus podcast, Michael Rogers gives an update on some of the activities keeping University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS) researchers busy this summer. Rogers is the director of the UF/IFAS Citrus Research and Education Center in Lake Alfred. One of their big projects is helping to coordinate the citrus seminars for the upcoming Citrus & Specialty Crop Expo on Aug. 20–21 at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa. Rogers provides a sneak peek of the citrus presentations, which number more than 20. While the Expo program will focus on HLB management, additional topics will be addressed. This includes other diseases and pests, crop insurance considerations and more. The citrus seminars will provide growers with the latest knowledge on how to optimize trunk injection of oxytetracycline (OTC). New research on OTC applications and degradation and how different varieties respond to treatments will be shared. There will also be a presentation on advancements in automated trunk injection. Lukasz Stelinski, UF/IFAS professor of entomology and nematology, joins the podcast to give growers useful reminders on Asian citrus psyllid (ACP) management. He stresses the importance of new flush in timing insecticide applications targeting the ACP. Stelinski also emphasizes the importance of dormant sprays during the winter to really push the pest's population down. On the disease front, Megan Dewdney, UF/IFAS associate professor of plant pathology, speaks in the podcast about some key disease concerns this time of year, including phytophthora brown rot, algal spot and canker. She adds that melanose could be more problematic than normal due to recent weather patterns of heavier rainfall.
