Outlook Industries is a show that hopes to inspire a positive outlook on life through insightful conversations with successful and interesting individuals. I try to invoke deep philosophical conversations from people that interest me, such as action sports athletes, musicians, and many other industry leaders. I'm trying to learn as much as I can through listening to successful people and I believe you will find as much value in these conversations as I do! Hosted by Trevor Johnson.
Jacob is a scooter rider and filmmaker from Erie Colorado. He is also the owner and founder of Organic Collective, a clothing and lifestyle company. Jacob specializes in SD filmmaking and prefers shooting on film. He is also heavily influenced by old skate films and works hard to produce good videos for the scooter community. He has lots of unique opinions when it comes to action sports media.
Matt is an action sports athlete who just suffered an injury resulting in him being paralyzed from the waist down. I was drawn to his terrific optimism. I wanted to hear his story in a podcast-style format. I really enjoyed this podcast, Matt had a lot of great insight into life and I really enjoyed his wisdom. he has also been working with Aaron Fotheringham AKA Wheelz on getting a skatepark chair and I'm stoked to see him shred a chair. Shelby is known for her photography skills in the scooter industry working for companies such as The Vault Pro Scooters and Fusion Scooters. Her wizardry behind the lens and connections in the scooter industry has led her to some awesome leadership positions. she is currently working with the urban world series and Worldskate on getting scootering into the Olympics. Shelby is a great leader and I'm happy to have her representing the sport of scootering.
Ryan is a professional athlete for Madd Gear. He also manages the regional Madd Gear team. Ryan is known for his multisport abilities and has a large following on both Instagram and TikTok finding his notoriety early in the TikTok years with "Choose Your Character" and "Avitar Elements" TikTok videos.
Erick is a scooter rider who has worked at both Woodward west and east. Erick has always had strong opinions on scooter culture and the scootering industry. He is currently living in colorado and he rides with Tuesday Scooters. Erick is also really good at skateboarding and he specifies in bowl and street riding on his scooter. he draws a lot of inspiration for his style from skateboarders.
Pierce is a 17-year-old scooter rider from northern California. He has been stomping world-first tricks daily and is genuinely a next-level rider.
Matthew is a professional skateboarder for Powell Peralta who specializes in vert and bowl skating. Living up to his childhood nickname Big Air Wilcox, there's no one I've ever seen fly higher than Matthew. I hope you enjoy this episode
Carson Miller is a professional scooter rider from Lake Orion, MI. Carson is also the Scooter Director at Woodward West. Matthias is a professional skier and base jumper from France. he also just released his documentary "Super Frenchie" which follows him through the last 11 years of his life. Matthias has ski base jumped off of mountains such as Mount Hood, the Matterhorn, and Mont Blanc plus many others. He has appeared on CNN many times and has also been on the cover of SKI Magazine. Dylan Zdon is a skateboarder from Minnesota and he is unbelievably good at skating anything you put in front of him. Dylan suffered a really serious head injury in 2020 and he talks about his recovery process and what this injury taught him about himself and his brain. He is also a really spiritual person and we talk a lot about the personal psyche and the power psychedelics have when you're trying to learn about yourself. Jared is one of the most influential figures in the scooter industry right now. He owns and operates Ohlay Brand which is a scooter company that specializes in promoting scootering and hosting contests and events both digital and in-person that get people out and riding their scooters.
