God's love leads us to the Light of eternal life.
This is the truth: “Unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.”
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
Only Jesus can clean up our lives and make us fit for God's exclusive use.

Teachers are key agents of changes and improvements in their classrooms. Yet spaces and opportunities for teachers, and others in the human services, to have control over their working lives and professional learning, have drastically diminished. Janette and Mary talk to Marie about their project to address this, by supporting teachers' reflection and self-directed learning and improvement. The evaluation of their project was overwhelmingly positive, with principals and teachers valuing the opportunity for professionaly supportive reflection, especially in a safe space outside the school environment.ReferencesAllen, J.M. The early Christian church was characterized by certain core principles and practices that help shape our vision for Calvary today.
Here is the Christian message in one sentence: Jesus is the “Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.”
Knowing God and knowing yourself are inseparably linked. The starting point for knowing Jesus is first knowing you're not him.

“God became a man to dwell among his people in order to display the grace and truth of his glory.”
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
The announcement of the birth of Jesus is the hope to our shattered expectations and there is only one correct response. But it's not an easy one.
The Lord announces the most amazing event in history to a humble young woman who responds in faith.
Tommy grew up in Ohio and started in the family business of home inspections. Over time he started to get involved in flipping houses and how he lost money on his first deal. Not giving up, he now has a dozen employees and uses multiple exit strategies through wholesaling, flipping, or long term rentals.

As God promised, judgement would come on God's people (Judah) and God's city (Jerusalem). But God's plan of salvation wasn't done. He will bring salvation by faith in the eternal King.
In our moments of uncertainty and pain, God's eternal covenant to rescue and restore his people stands firm. There is no ultimate despair for a Christian because Jesus is the promised king and the perfect priest who keeps God's promises.
Earthly kingdoms and nations rise and fall, but our greatest need is a covenant relationship with the God who made the world and everything in it. God gives us the promise that such a relationship is possible and shows us how to obtain it.

God's wrath is described as a cup of bitter wine that is terrible and deserved by all. But Jesus drinks this cup and offers a new one to everyone who trusts in him.
This week our host Brandi Starr is joined by Liz Harr, Managing Partner at Hinge Marketing. Meet Liz Harr, an accomplished entrepreneur and executive specializing in brand management and growth strategies for professional services firms. Leading Hinge Marketing's client delivery team, Liz helps businesses solve critical marketing and brand-related challenges. With co-authorship of several influential books and research studies, including the Visible Expert Revolution and Hinge's annual high growth reports, Liz is a regular speaker and writer in professional services circles. In this episode of Revenue Rehab, Brandi and Liz dive into the power of research-driven marketing strategies. They'll uncover how understanding your target audience's behavior can lead to spending less while achieving significant revenue growth. Get ready to explore actionable tactics for developing a science-based marketing strategy that drives relevance and revenue. Bullet Points of Key Topics + Chapter Markers: Topic #1 The Importance of Market Research [04:18] “When you approach your marketing with that formula in mind, your strategy is gold,” Harr emphasizes, identifying the powerful impact of research-driven strategies. She states, “Research yields relevance, and relevance yields revenue.” This key insight shapes the way marketing leaders should understand the behavior and needs of their target audience, ensuring that marketing efforts are not just aimless shots in the dark but are strategically aimed at achieving the highest impact. Topic #2 Conducting Effective Behavioral Research [07:45] Liz Harr underscores the need for structured conversations with your ideal clients: “You need to understand what keeps them up at 4 AM,” she says. Harr elaborates, “What are your chief organizational challenges? What criteria are important to you as you're whittling down that list from like 10 to 5 companies?” This type of research, focusing on why customers choose or reject certain solutions, is essential for crafting relevant marketing messages that resonate deeply with the target audience. Topic #3 Efficiency in Marketing Spend [16:48] Harr shares a poignant case study: “Instead of promoting some salesy aspect…you're actually promoting a piece of content,” she recalls, detailing how a client slashed their budget in half by switching to content marketing from costly, ineffective paid ads. She concludes, “We wrote some content and brought visibility to these executive guides…yielding better results with less spend.” This illustrates that understanding the target audience and meeting their needs with insightful content is more effective and economical compared to traditional, broad-spectrum advertising. Buzzword Banishment Liz's Buzzword to Banish is “actionable insights.” Liz finds this term redundant and unnecessary, stating, “None of us have time for unactionable insights. We don't want unactionable insights. So just call it insights. That is what we mean. Let's just say what we mean.” So, What's the One Thing You Can Do Today? Liz's ‘One Thing' is to delve into your metrics to uncover the priorities for your marketing strategy. "Look at your metrics. Those are probably the truest measure of how you're performing. And I would look at things not, I mean revenue growth. That's all important. Those are the obvious ones. But I would take a look at some more granular ones. Trends such as your sales cycle, has it been lengthening or shrinking your win rate? What are the trends going on there? Your win loss intel? Why are you winning? Why are you losing? So I would look at some of those more granular metrics to tell you just how or to signal to you how prioritized should a reworking of your marketing strategy be and whether you need to invest in research now or six months from now or a year from now. I think the metrics are going to give you the answer." Professor Niki Harré, Head of the School of Psychology at the University of Auckland, and author of Psychology for a Better World: Working with People to Save the Planet and The Infinite Game: How to Live Well Together, shares her vision of resilient, compassionate, and creative communities as the foundation for sustainability. As discussed in her recent TEDx talk, Niki is particularly interested in promoting deep dialogue, constructive decision-making, and collective action for human and ecological flourishing. In this episode, she underscores how psychology—often overlooked in environmental work—is vital for fostering a people-focused approach and driving meaningful systems change.Niki emphasises the power of stories and behaviours to inspire action, advocating for narratives of hope and compassion rather than focusing solely on crisis. To combat negativity amid the constant messages of environmental doom and gloom, Dr Harré discusses the importance of working with others and sharing positive values, to build resilient communities. We also explore how common identity points can strengthen communication on sustainability issues, fostering understanding and commitment. At the heart of her philosophy is an “infinite game” mindset, where the goal is to keep what we most value in play, while inviting others to join – for it is together that we can create resilient social movements, sustain hope, and work toward a more generous, equitable world, with a flourishing environment and compassionate communities. In this episode, Niki discusses:What initially drew her to psychology and her passion for community well-being and sustainabilityThe shift away from community-based approaches as society moves more onlineHer two books, Psychology for a Better World: Working with People to Save the Planet and The Infinite Game: How to Live Well TogetherConcerns with “problem-focused” approaches in sustainability circlesThe concept of “copying” behaviours to foster a more sustainable futureThe impact of positive and negative emotions on facilitating change and transformationTips for staying emotionally buoyant in the face of apocalyptic narrativesThe critical importance of self-identity and living in accordance with one's valuesBeing a ‘tidy person', practising mindfulness, and taking extreme care with material resourcesMoving away from “us vs. them” mentalities and instead asking what kind of world we want to live inThe importance of engaging with young people in sustainability effortsHer “Secular Priest” experiment and what it taught her about communityHer parting thoughts for advocates and communities on building resilience and maintaining hopeTo view all the links to the websites and documents, visit the show notes on our website. Please support our work and enable us to deliver more content by buying us a coffee or becoming a member of Athletes for Nature.Follow us on Instagram and Facebook, subscribe to this podcast, and share this episode with your friends and family.

Worshiping anything other than God is dumb and won't make you happy. When you have Jesus, you have all you need.
A church can believe and do all the right things and still be far from God. Jesus desires a revival of passionate love among us.
It is possible to find false comfort in religious practice. But outward observance by itself won't change the untransformed heart. We need a Temple that will actually save us.
God exposes the sin in our lives as being not just simply a broken rule, but as an adulterous affair. And yet, it's in the image of a marriage that we truly see how much he loves us.
God gives us a message to proclaim to our times. Sin has serious consequences, but there is hope for the broken.
In a world of conflict and suffering, the flame of hope may appear to be just a ‘flicker' that may fade. But because God rules history, it is a ‘glimmer' that will grow.
